After watching the LTT video on making a gaming rig out of a server. I found a Poweredge t110 with a I3 530, 8GB of DDR3 and a SAS controller at a computer salvage shop. I pulled out the SAS card which leavs me with Slot 1; 8X, Slot 2 16X on an 8X channel, Slot 3 8X on a 4X channel and Slot 4 1X. I believe all these are PCI-E 2.0. The nice thing is this is a tower so cards fit without modification. I also found a Xeon 3450 which I upgraded the system with. I really wanted to go to a Xeon 3480 but they are still running at $80 on EBAY and I was trying to do this on the cheap. with the Xeon I can upgrade to 32GB.  I installed a 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series ATI AI that I had laying around and minecraft and fortnite run and that is what my son plays. I was looking at 2 other posible cards 01G-P3-2711-KR EVGA GeForce GT 710 or Genuine Dell AMD FirePro W5100 4GB he EVGA would be nice since It fits a 8x slot and I might be able to make it fit in slot 1 but the FirePro is a better card. I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Picked up a GTX 550i from the computer salvage store so far it seems to be running ok. Had to replace the power supply, used a cooler master 460 I had from a previous build it is rated at 460W but acording to a wright up on it only puts out 420W, thats ok all I am running is a graphics card and the stock power supply was only 305W so I should be ok.
