Switching for French ISP FREE, with new FREBOX DELTA 10 GB

For those who dont have the luck to be connected on FTTH, i am having now the French ISP ORANGE with a 1GBs/300Mbs connection: https://boutique.orange.fr/internet/offres-fibre/livebox-up

 

I am about to switch to another ISP called FREE, witch just unveil a new freebox generation: https://www.free.fr/freebox/

 

This ISP is providing 2 boxes. A server box ( like a homemade router ) and a player box ( for TV connection or else )

 

Specs for the new boxes are:

It tooks days to do the switch ...

 

I really started the switch process on Dec 21th.

At D+22, i finally received my new Delta box ...

Concerning the FTTH technologie used, finally more information. FREE is using FTTH 10G-EPON 802.3AV

 

More next monday, as the new optical route needs to be set ...

 

I wonder if it is as long as it happens for me in your respectives country ???
