Mayank94

Guys I am planning to buy new gpu and I am little bit confuse between rx580 8gb and gtx 1060 6gb.

Can you guys suggest me which would be better for 1080p gaming and also for some future proof.

For the performance, they are literally neck and neck.

Price, go with the RX, but don't cheap out on a crap model.

Here is this, if you want it. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-AMD-RX-580/3639vs3923

Future proofing won't work with these cards, they're more of a..current use and use for the next 2-3 years, maybe more if you're staying 1080p.

Some people here will also have your head for even saying "future proof" lol.

Get the cheapest and don't get MSI armor versions of the cards. They're basically the same in performance.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
