DaVinci Resolve Transcoding

I'm going to be using DaVinci Resolve for transcoding some projects of mine but I'm not sure which format I want to use. My main options are DNxHR and GoPro Cineform. The footage I'm shooting is from a Lumix G7 so it's only 8-bit, thus I don't need to use a 10 bit transcode codec. I simply want to improve cpu usage while editing as well as stitch some clips together before importing into hitfilm. What codec and settings would be recommended for this?
