Pixelbook running linux?

Can the pixelbook from google run ubuntu fully? The word on the street is that the pixelbook is the ideal linux laptop, but I can't seem to find anything soundly running on any flavor of linux. I was wondering if Linus could make a video of solutions to make the pixelbook actually useful, including hopefully some kind of full linux/ubuntu solution.
