Android drop shadows on icons

Hi folks

 

Can someone point me in the right direction without answering with nova launcher please. 

 

I'm using nova launcher and have been for years. What I'm trying to find is a launcher that automatically gives the icons a drop shadow effect, regardless what theme pack for icons is installed. 

 

I've found an app that is supposed to give the same effect but it doesn't work and the developer doesn't respond to emails

 

I'm hoping someone here knows what I'm looking for and can point me in the right direction. I miss the drop shadows of my ios 6..

 

I'm using samsung galaxy s9

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Maybe it's not stock rom and playstore launchers and in the world of rooting.

Can't think more than the shadow that can be added from Nova but not on icons, just on the statusbar.
Also, they are probably added in the icon text but not on the icon image
Can't suggest more than searching for more launchers on the play store...
