Hi All,

For a while now, I have been thinking about researching about different monitors and it all makes my head explode. Not to say that it's complicated but lack of monitors in shops to actually see the display quality and really experience the difference between VA and IPS. Not to mention that many budgets have not been reviewed. Hence, I want to ask you for a recommendation for a monitor.

I'm looking for a monitor to use for work, personal projects and playing video games. For work I wanted to simply get a second 1440p display in addition to my 1080p just to have more space on the screen but than I realise I could buy 4k, get more space and have a larger monitor for playing my ps4 (I currently own 27inch 1080 VA 60Hz Samsung monitor). So I decided to find a budget 4k.

On my list, I have BenQ EW3270U and Samsung j590. These seem to be the cheapest 4k screens but I am concerned about the picture quality. I am also considering Acer 5054629968970 Predator 31in LED  as it is currently going for £600 on Amazon. I'd buy it if the quality is really much better but it's out of my budget so I'd rather not to :D

What 4k 32inch monitor would you recommend for using with regular ps4 and programming? Ideally, IPS panel up to max £400.... but I doubt that's possible. Do you think the picture quality would significantly increase with more expensive IPS monitors? (In terms of actually visible difference)
