Does anyone know where I could find some and is it a specific type of screw or if I could buy a generic one. It’s for the mobo and CPU, however I’m told 2/3 can be used off the CPU as heat sink pressure will make up for it, but that could be incorrect.

Thank you

After discovering your other post about a missing screw, here are the Intel specs for the 'shoulder screw' used in socket 1155:

https://www.intel.sg/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/design-guides/3rd-gen-core-lga1155-socket-guide.pdf

see page 117.

Perhaps a substitute machined screw with thread size  6-32 UNC class 2A (ie. US not metric) quoted in above PDF, cut to length may fit ?

According to google, the diameter of the threaded portion is about 3.3mm.

A washer may be needed if the screw head is not wide enough?
