WD External Drive Help!

Ashiok

Hi All,

I have a WD5000h1u-00 that I just tried using. When I plug it into the usb port I hear it come into my computer and the computer acknowledges it as being plugged in. However the drive just doesn't pop up. I don't see it under "this pc" or anywhere else. Anyone know a solution?

IM assuming its disk 1

If so right click on the blue bars and click delete, then make one new partition. This will delete all data.

If it disk 1 and has no data on it on value, right click delete the 200Mb and 465GB partition, then right click and make new partition.

FIRST thing to do IF the there is data to keep is try right clicking on the blue space and see if can set the drive partition active.
