So recently brought a msi gtx1080ti gaming gpu.

First time over clocking.

Bench marked fine at

+100 on the core

+400 memory

But I noticed after awhile playing games my fps was drastically dropping

Core frequency stayed the same and gpu temp was 67c

A pc restart would fix it temporarily.

After many drive re-installs and different things I did a complete windows reinstall.

Tried oc again, this +80 core and +200 memory

Ran heaven bench mark for a couple hours at 3440x1440 ultra, x8AA, teselation on etc with no issues for extended game play for 6 days.

Last night in pubg lobby I lost 25fps but core frequency actually went up.

Game restart did nothing ( actually was awhile before the lobby screen loaded for awhile)

PC restart fixed the issue.

Not sure if this was a one off pubg issue or if my memory OC is still causing issues, if that is the issue. Gpu never got past 61c

Tried for about 45min before work no issues.

Any thoughts, advice  ?
