How about this = EXP GDC (Laptop external GPU Dock), i was half expecting it to be a scam but it panned out to be a working product that brought back some life to an old Dell e6420 i have.

i got my one from eBay because the seller was based out of Australia.

 

it is limited due to bandwidth limitation of the connection so i believe anything above a 970 / 780 you will probably not see much deference due to bottleneck, but not sure, i have it running with a 750Ti which is better then the Intel HD3000 onboard GPU, have not run benchmark tests yet but just from loading up some games i played before i can see a big improvement.

 

it is very jank but i found this to be a bit of a fun little project all in all

don't expect great results but yeah i will run some benchmark tools before and after just not sure how the intel hd3000 will hold up if at all

so the result of improvement is a game that dose not work to working at playable FPS, Not bad
