How about this = EXP GDC (Laptop external GPU Dock), i was half expecting it to be a scam but it panned out to be a working product that brought back some life to an old Dell e6420 i have.

i got my one from eBay because the seller was based out of Australia.

it is limited due to bandwidth limitation of the connection so i believe anything above a 970 / 780 you will probably not see much deference due to bottleneck, but not sure, i have it running with a 750Ti which is better then the Intel HD3000 onboard GPU, have not run benchmark tests yet but just from loading up some games i played before i can see a big improvement.

it is very jank but i found this to be a bit of a fun little project all in all

on GTX 750Ti

Note: 1 FPS is loading screens

27-11-2018, 21:28:50 Fallout4.exe benchmark completed, 13448 frames rendered in 240.313 s
                     Average framerate  :   55.9 FPS
                     Minimum framerate  :    0.5 FPS
                     Maximum framerate  :   61.8 FPS
                     1% low framerate   :    2.3 FPS
                     0.1% low framerate :    0.5 FPS

Fallout 4 would crash on launch with the onboard Intel HD3000 GPU

so the result of improvement is a game that dose not work to working at playable FPS, Not bad ?
