Hissing noise while charging laptop

Hello, I've recently started hearing a hiss coming out of the charging port in my laptop. The noise is only present while i charge it. I've read quite a few worrysome comments after a quick google search but I'm not sure what to do. I'm also out of warranty. Is this the beginning of the end?

a few questions

how old is your laptop?

did you check inside the charging port and make sure there is nothing in it?

is your laptop having battery issues?

is the charging plug thing(what you put into the laptop) clean?

also is your charger at the correct voltage for your laptop?

About a year and a half

Yes, it's all clean.

Zero issues with the machine.

I mantain all my electronics with excelent hygiene

The charger is the original one it came with. Dell 240W 19.5v 12.3A

idk then i would advise going to a computer store and have them take a look at it 

since its a year and a half old you should at least get 1 - 2 more years worth of use out of it

I just noticed the hiss is not present while the laptop is idle. Sounds like good news? maybe
