Laptop turning off

Hey everyone,

Hopefully someone can help, I have a Dell inspiron laptop which after 2minutes it goes into a sleep like mode, the fans spin up and the screen goes black.

Pressing to power button brings it back to normal untill it happens again, each time beening shorter than the last time it was on untill its like 5seconds.

I have tried

- Cleaning the fan and new thermal paste

- I ran a chkdsk

- I reset power settings with cmd

- sfc scan

Any ideas?

Is it charging properly? Not exactly sure if this is the culprit but if it was plugged in the whole time you where testing this, the charger might be going out. Something similar happened to me a couple of years ago.
