random black screens appearing

so my friends rig has been black screening recently and it hasn't ever happened before, i am using it as of now but the issue he tells me is whenever he plays any game the screen goes black.

we both have tried getting in the bios but that didn't work, my friend tried everything possible but he's had no luck.

specs 

amd fx4300

8gb ddr3 1600

radeon rx 460 (brand new)

psu 500w

windows ten

the screen goes black thats about it and he said it started with payday 2
