Regular vs New Inductors - EK Waterblocks Question

Ok so I am looking on their website at the cooling config thing, but I was just wondering, what is the new inductors thing? There are two options, regular or new inductors. Can someone help me with this?

Here's what the XFX rep told on OCN about how to identify if your card has a larger inductor or not.

If its new, you can be sure it wont be the smaller inductor from the first run. if its used, there's a 90% chance you will get the larger inductor. You can tell by the serial # as well. Q5-Q8 may have the smaller inductor, Q9-R4 will be the larger version.

The first two numbers of our serial #'s are based off the date.

First Letter
N - 2012
O - 2013
P - 2014
Q - 2015
R -2016

Second letter
Jan- 1
Feb -2
etc...
Oct-W
Nov-X
Dec-Y

 

So if your card has the larger inductor, our block won't fit.

Do you guys have some sort of all in one cooler for the gpu? Plus, the serial number is the same for both of them

For GPU only no. Our Predator is for CPU with the option of adding a GPU block.
