Can I install this on another pc?

Justinkea

So I bought windows 7 on ebay around a year ago, I currently have the parts for my new pc and I am about to build it but I want to move this windows 7 on to my new computer, I checked the product ID and it has "OEM" in it, Can I use this key with another computer/ Different brand of motherboard? The pc I am using now is custom made and I'm a bit confused as how an OEM version is on a custom made computer?

You can't because oem allow it to be used 1 time and it's not transferable unlike the retail version.

You can always try. I have changed mobo 2 times with same OEM key. Works on Win7 and older. And OEM CANNOT be branded (Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.)
