7950 Crossfire and CCC Help

So just installed a 7950 (only one first) and ran a few benchmarks, then installed a second 7950 and ran same benchmarks and was coming up with the same results as one card.  GPU-Z is saying crossfire is enabled.  One thing I have noticed is that Catalyst Control Center is different.  There are no options for anything.  Nothing for changing the speed of the core and memory, adjusting the fan speed control manually, enabling and disabling crossfire.  Basically it seems like CCC on a laptop if anyone is familiar with that.  Like all the performance options are gone.  Does anyone have any idea why this is?  I thank you for any help.

Do you have your crossfire bridge connected?

I had crossfire 6870s before the 7950s.

Yes...I believe it's 13.8...the last that came out recently.

I'll take a screen shot of what I'm seeing in CCC...maybe someone out there has seen this before, I can't be the only one, lol.

Do you have enough power for it?

Do you have ULPS disabled?

Is your motherboard compatible with crossfire?

Are both pcexi running at maximum speed?

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 4,6GHZ OC MB: MSI Mpower z77  RAM: Kingston Genesis 1600Mhz CL9 16GB

GPU: ASUS R9 290 Direct CUII  PSU: Corsair AX 860

What is ULPS?

 

When I had GPU-Z up I saw that ULPS was enabled on the 2nd card.  I haven't had an issue with that before.

I disabled ULPS and it so far it seems that may have worked.

 

Does anyone have any idea about CCC and why all the performance and tweaking options are gone?  I downloaded MSI Afterburner to use for overclocking on the video cards but just wondering what happened to me CCC.
