Help me choose?

Mpeterson96

im looking at getting a new graphics card (the one I have now is a 1gb nvidia 240)

im looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130817

what cards would you recommend at a similar price point?

We can go over that sorta price for sure, but only if its going to be a significant performance upgrade

Thanks in advance!

The 660ti is very good card, but i was woundering what kind of cpu you are using? Becasue it wont help upgrading to 660ti if you have a cpu that is as old as the gtx 240. then the cpu will become a huge bottleneck.

I would go for a i5 3570k instead of the i7 if your gaming primarily. and for the video card i would look at a amd radeon 7950 this thing is really good

is the 3770K not worth the Extra Hundred Dollars?
For gaming it is not

and as far as cards go for that price try getting a 660ti/HD7950 or get a good deal on a 670

Alright!

im still pretty set on that 660TIFTW 3gb edition I linked above, faster clocks than the 670, and same amount of cuda, although slower bit rate
