What headset should I get?

So I'm looking for a new gaming headset, but I'm not 100% sure on what I should get. I need a headset that will cover all the platforms I play on. So PC, PS3, and PS4. I have been looking at the Audio Technica ATH-AG1 but I don't think it will work on the PS3. I am looking for a good gaming headset with great quality. Any help would really be appreciated, thank you.

Plantronics RIG is pretty decent and comes with a little mixer for console compatibility.
