Z87 Maximus Vi Hero cant boot with G3258 or 4790k?

Hey guys, so I did a bios update (1505) before I changed them out but when I have them in the computer it will turn on but nothing will come up, not even the bios.

Put my 4770k back in and everything works just fine, so confusing.

Got these two to do a review on my channel but I am completely lost right now as to why they wont work even with the BIOS update off Asus's website

Any advice on getting these two to work? (its def not the cpu's since neither of them work and they are both brand new).

apparently you need to complete the update with the program to complete the BIOS update

I made the same mistake, you do need to use the tool for some apparent reason.

Yep worked just fine now, yeah thats so strange, I was just using AI suite 3 to update it and it didn't work, how weird, anyways, cheers guys!
