Appreciate Monitor + PC Case Recommendation

kalemliy

Hello,

It's me again ?.

I've been building this pc for 3 months for now. All set except for the PC Case and the Monitor.

However, I can only spare up to 170 dollars for those components.

So, if you can recommend me some that would be great.

Some of the recommendations are:

- Zalman z3 plus

- Zalman n3

- Corsair Carbide Spec-04-02

- Phanteks Eclipse P350x

- Sharkoon Pure Steel RGB

I really don't care about it's appearance due to being poor. ?

Don't forget that the monitor though!

Thank you!

$170 for both ? ...or each ?

For both a Monitor and a case on that budget .. ur basically looking at getting the cheapest monitor u can find regardless of spec or quality, and a basic case to ur taste. Nothing to specifically recommend really.

If it were $170 each i would recommend getting the cheapest possible case ..or forgoing a case for now and running ghetto, and spend $340 on a monitor.

Unfortunately it's for both ?

One should consider spending a good amount on their monitor.

Monitors usualy last multiple PC builds so in the long run are not expensive, but are expensive in the short term.

I would recommend budgeting 'at least' $300 on the monitor or, above that price, at least the same price as one spends on their GPU.

If u cant afford at least $300, then getting the cheapest possible monitor u can find ..just so u have a display,, is imo the best choice as most monitors under this price point are not great with significant flaws, and any difference between a $100 monitor and a $200 isnt really worth doubling the price. IMO.

As for case, its more an aesthetic choice, but when on an ultra tight budget u can choose to either ignore it ..or just by the cheapest case u can find that fits ur rig, ones with more than 1 included fan are helpful.

IMO when on a tight budget one should first and foremost put performance above aesthetics.

You can find some really cheap cases, but monitor ..they can be a bit more difficult. SO i;'d sugest u find a cheap monitor 1st.. then see what u have left to spend for a case. A PC can work without a case ..it cant be used without a monitor.
