BSOD ERROR AND FREEZING PC

galaxy555

Hi, i have got a pc that i just built and installed windows on. It worked fine for a while but then it would all of a sudden freeze and come up with BSOD. see image attached, the error would say "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" this kept happening so did a fresh install, i also made sure all drivers were up to date and bios also.

still same issue. then it go so bad that the computer wouldnt boot into Windows and it would just come up with this error. I then decided to try unbuntu and got it on a usb drive and booted it from there (didnt install on hardrive) but i would then find the same frezeing issue and these errors would show( See image). could this be a cpu problem?

its frustrating and i wish to fix it. has anyone got any ideas or know what's wrong. thanks so much. also i reseated ram and tried different slots but no luck.

If it is happening in Linux as well then it is a hardware situation.  Try one stick of RAM at a time.  Then we will continue with troubleshooting and fix you up.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex

Everything is connected CPU powers and GPU powers I assume.  That can be a CPU issue or GPU.  Have you overclocked the CPU ?
