Now just exit BIOS.. Save and Exit specifically.

 

Also, you can download and run HWINFO64 to verify all your settings too.

 

You can also manually set the System Memory Multiplier to 32, so it tries to run at 3200 which is what you bought.  It only went to 3000 automatically, but a good place to start and make sure it runs stable.

all set, I'll verify. didn;t know my memory was so neutered out of the box...

Yes, unfortunately it is.  The speeds on the memory are an OVERCLOCK target spec, not a THIS WORKS AT THIS SPEED WHEN YOU BUY IT.

 

It's pretty much BS, but no way around it.   Glad you now know, and for future use.

 

You should be able to see the RAM speed even in Task Manager too.  Performance tab, then Memory.

both module look good to me, but idk what to look for. can you verify?

See where it says your DRAM is running at 1499.6MHz?  Since it's DDR4, which means Double Data Rate... we multiply that by 2.  So it's running at 3000Mhz, you did your BIOS setting correctly ;)

 

Now run some games and see if you get some higher frame rates.
