Monitor recommendations?

Hey everyone,
Been wanting to upgrade my monitor and am just wanting to get some opinions on what route I should go for. I currently don't have enough of a budget to go to G-sync at the moment but am still trying to experience 144hz at a reasonable price for what I get. My specs are: R5 2600, 16GB 2666mhz ram, evga gtx 980. Looking to play on 24"monitor, 1980x1080, 144hz, 1ms.

Looking for any opinions on what monitor to get or any suggestions on other monitors near me!

with just a 980, get a free sync, and just save up for a new gpu. (new Nvidia can use freesync IIRC.) with the 200$ saved, you can sell the 980 and get a 1660 ti or a Vega.
