Hey Guys So I just built my new system. It contains: i5-13600kf (125W TDP, 6P Cores, 8E Cores, 20 Threads) MSI Z690 Pro A RTX 3080 MSI Ventus 3x Team Group DDR5 Ram - XMP1 @ 6400 Case: be quiet pure base 500dx and crucially the Corsair H100i Elite AIO - top mounted - 240mm This is my first watercooled system. Building the system worked like a charm. No issues until I started cinebench. In idle temperatures were around 34° which is 9° above ambient temperature. When I start Cinebench multicore temperatures imediately reach 88°C and within 30 seconds some of them reach 100°C so I guess there is something wrong... or not? Could this be normal for raptor lake cpus when hitting all cores? After turning off cinebench the cores are back to 39°C immediately. ICUE picks up the AIO and for me everthying looks okay, profiles are working, fans spool up and down and I dont hear any pump or water noises. Here are some assumptions I made, that may or may not be true. Maybe you can tell me which is worth trying out or maybe you can even tell me what to do instead. 1: Preapplied thermalpaste sucks? Repaste? 2: Are the intel lga 1700 standoff screw threads assymetrical? (didnt look like) Did I put them in upside down? Everything felt properly tightened to me. 3: Did I mess up the wiring? I dont have a 24pin connector. There were just the two 4-Pin fan connectors which end in some kind of strange Y-Cable. Its powered over sata and has a ucb-c end which goes to the pump and a 3-Pin Fan connector where only one port (the right one) is populated. I put this connector on the cpu-fan-header (Edit: Not the Case - wiring is correct) Furthermore I didnt even find the correct manual for my AIO. All the manuals I found refer to models with the 24pin connector (Elite Capellix) which need the commander core. I attached some images, maybe you can help me figuring out what I am working with here. (Edit: Found, Images removed - https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/WW_iCUE_H100i_H115i_H150i_ELITE_SERIES_QSG_AA.pdf) Furthermore I hope to figure this out soon because I can still return the AIO for some days. Thank you guys KugelVanHamster

I have a Cryorig A80 but bought it before they started bundling it with AM4 brackets, but I've just purchased a R7 3800x and Gigabyte X570 Gaming X motherboard to upgrade my system (from i5 4690k). I've contacted Cryorig who tell me to purchase it from Overclockers UK, who don't have stock and after speaking to them today, also do not know when they can get more in stock (surely these are from cryorig anyway?!). Now I've seen one random person on Reddit state that Corsair's bracket kit fits on the Cryorig, so does anyone know if they do and if so which one (I'm assuming the H80i/H115i one). Or even better if someone knows where I can source a Cryorig one that would be even better. But I've tried amazon, ebay, etc and no luck.

So I just installed a corsair hydro h100i v2 to my PC and took out the CPU to clean out all the old thermal paste. I then installed everything back together, slapped in my AIO and tried booting the PC. To my surprise, I got no signal for my monitors nor did my keyboard or mouse get any power. I then tested around, taking out the GPU and pieces of RAM, and reinstalling the CPU again. I managed to get the PC to boot by doing a boot without any RAM and then with one stick. My PC now works fine except that I can't put in anymore than 2 sticks of RAM since the 2 other slots I'd need seem to cause an infinite bootloop if any sticks are installed. Is it possible that the RAM slots were damaged when I took out the CPU or something? Hi everyone! Before you call me stupid, let me tell you why I decided to cram Corsair's H110i V2 240mm AIO water cooler in the midtower SPEC-01 case. My uncle gave me a $100 gift card to Best Buy as a present, and decided that because I have an FX-6300, why not overclock it and buy an AIO? The H110i seemed like a good idea, as I could use it as my main cooler for any future builds. (and the Corsair logo is RGB!) When I actually tried to put it in, I found out the AIO was not supported by my case. After some Googling, it doesn't look like anyone else has done it. But this is the LinusTechTip forums, surely Linus would find a way to ghetto-mount something. I'm making this guide as a reference for anyone else that might run into my problem. So... on to forcing this thing in without breaking any components. And all you need is a hammer. The Problem Obviously, the cooler wouldn't fit nicely, but it can fit. On the top right, you can see that the 5.25" ODD bays were in the way by a little bit. The RAM also cut close, but it's low enough to clear it without any pressure on it. The CPU is also pretty close, so getting the AIO actually passed its own tubing was hard. The Solution It wasn't hard to get in the case without the motherboard in as well, but because the distance between the fans and CPU is so small, the motherboard had to go in first. You can see that my top 5.25" bay is also partially empty; it's occupied by a front panel USB/Card reader. I used that empty space as a way to angle the AIO into the two top 120mm fan mounts on the SPEC-01. But the 5.25" cage was still in the way. I actually took a hammer to flatten out the cage's rounded edge, as you can see in the picture. Flattening out the cage actually made enough room for the AIO to line up with the mounting holes. Finished Product Again, this post is only me documenting how I did it, in case anyone runs into the same problem. But thanks for checking it out anyways!

I am going to be purchasing an Inwin 805 infinity case, so which cooler should I buy, the NZXT Kraken x62 or the NZXT Kraken x52. The only difference is that the x52 fits two 240mm fans while the x62 fits two 280mm fans. Basically, can I FIT the x62? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108502&cm_re=inwin_805-_-11-108-502-_-Product

So i've had my system for a few months. It's got an i7-7700k cooled by a Corsair H115i. Full parts here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/6Bjypg I OC'd the cpu to around 4.8GHz at 1.35v and running the Cinebench rendering test the CPU gets up to around 86 degrees C, with similar results for things like blender and handbrake. I was just wondering if this is an acceptable temperature for a cpu that is cooled by such a large liquid cooler, or is it just normal for a high overclock? EDIT: if you're wondering, i'm using brand new Arctic MX-4 thermal paste.

Yo, I am currently a tad irritated becouse of the noise that my chase seems to be making. Regular fan noise, but still even when not under any load it cranks up to 2.2k On FAN0 and 1,5k FAN1. I do assume these are my CPU FAN(S) I have one but dual sided. Tips for making it run more silent under heavy load, not more than factory clocked atm, not overclocking anytime soon me thinks. Setup: 1070 MSI Armored edition 4790k CPU Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU cooler Factal Design Define R5 Chase Asus z97-P CPU runs at around 40-70*C / 100-150*F (i think my farenheit is a bit rusty) GPU around 29-45*C / 84-89*F Bugs me a lot because i got this chase as it was supposed to help a lot with noise. Thanks for any help - Gunnis

Hi there, I currently have a Corsair H80i v2 and frankly the stock fans, are ugly. So i wanted to replace them for RGB fans (Corsair ML 120 Rgb). After reading a couple of stuff, I noticed that, the stock fans of my h80i v2, are actually better (both in RPM, and static pressure) than the ML120 rgb. So I thought, what I leave one of the stock fans, (pushing air at the back of the rad) and then the ML120 pulling air (so the ML is at the front of the case, in all it's glory) Will it mess up with the static pressure? having fans with different static pressure/RPM, on the same rad?

Hello! I'm building a new system inside the Lian Li PC O11 Dynamic. And I have the H115i Platinum, I would like to know, if I can mount it on this case. I've seen in many places on the internet that it can mount up to 3 360mm Rads. But I haven't seen anyone talking about 280mm rads. So I was planning on mounting it as a top exhaust, and having fans intaking air on the side. Will it be possible? Does the case suports it?

I'm going to OC my i5 6600k to 4,2Ghz. Currently I'm using old Enermax ETS and it feels so tight in my case (NZXT S340). The gap between the HSF and my RAM (Tridentz) so close. I want to switch to AIO because i wanna see a simple and clean build. At first I want to buy Corsair H60 2018 Version. What do you guys think about it? If you have a better option, can you guys suggest me what is good in $100 price range? TIA

Hey so I currently who installed my CPU because I uninstalled it to try out the new AMD stock cooler. After reinstalling the watercolor it started making this sound about every thirty-five seconds to a a minute. I had the water cooler so the hoses were at the top installed then I flipped it when I heard the noise so the hoses were on the bottom. And listened to every other part and it was no mistake the CPU fan or the pump I have no idea or I have no idea why but I refuse to turn on my PC just for the safety of the components. Does anybody know what this is or what this means? 2cpu.mp4

Ok, I just saw the why is watercooling better techquickie vid, and it made me think do the all in one watercool loops need replacing or maintenance after a while? Does the coolant (whatever is in it) evaporate or deteriorate over time? Its 11 years old as I type this. My rig has one of these loops block rad fans etc and all ive done with it in the 11 years of its life is dust the loop and rad, I changed the fans also. Do the loops have a lifespan? Thanks

Hello all, I have something very strang to which I can't no answer. Prelude: I had a small case workstation running on an I7 4790K, 2x8gb ram, Asrock itx mobo. All things work fine until the aircooler died. So i decided to replace it with a coolermaster watercooler. The situation: From the moment I installed the watercooler, I had an unstable system which only worked with 8gb ram in lane B of the memoryslots. So I assumed I had somehow damaged lane A whilst installing the watercooler. That was five months ago, and until last thurday, my system ran fine, al be it with just 8gb of ram in stead of 16. My SSD drive died on me, so I thought: time to replace the disk and since I'm operating on the machine, replace the mobo with a new one. So I did just that. New Asus H81i-PLUS mobo installed, cpu, watercooler, and this time back to 16gb of ram..... only to discover the system was unstable again and windows setup resulted in an immediate BSOD. I came to the conclussion that this time too only memory slot lane B worked! So with only 8gb of ram in lane B, the system was up & running.... Everything has been tested seperately, and every part is in perfect working order. PSU 750W is working fine, cpu okay, tested with different ram sticks, all is well.... except not in that system. Why? What does lane A in combination with a coolermaster water cooler not to function? And why do both lanes work and give me 16gb when I use a cheap small air cpu cooler? I'm at a total loss on this one. I have repaired and built numerous systems but this one is far beyond my reach it seems. So far no one could give a solution, except: stick to 8gb in lane B, buy a small cheap cooler that overheats the i7 in time or toss the system in the garbage bin. Thank you in advance. Curt
