My Specs are as follows. RTX 2080TI (No overclock - Have tried and doesnt do anything) Ryzen 2700x (no overclock - Have tried and doesnt do anything) 16GB DDR4 @ 3200mhz Games installed on a NVME SSD Playing in 1080p @ 144hz So, I always have FPS issues with literally every game I play. Ive had this PC for about a year and NEVER found the cause, nor do I know what else to do as ive done seemingly everything. Below are a list of games and their average FPS. Biggest example: - I have been playing Days Gone, with my spec people have been getting frames with an average of 140fps, @ 1080p max settings. With Dips to no less than 100. Im getting an average of 70fps with dips into the low 50's all the time, lowest ive seen is 49fps thus far. Its not like its a stutter to that frame, its @ 49fps until I move away from that area, then when I come back the frames tank again, even then, the highest ive ever seen it go it 90, and thats in the middle of nowhere with nothing on screen. Even with everything happening benchmarks show specs like mine never dropping to 49, hell not even dropping below 100. This should NOT be happening with a PC like this, below are more examples. Ive done everything I can, please help. Below are more examples of my terrible frames. Its been this way for the 2 years ive had it and NEVER been able to fix it; Call of Duty: Warzone - Average of 60fps with frequent dips to 52 fps @ 1080p (changing settings from highest to lowest settings does literally nothing). Call of Duty: Black Ops, Cold War - Average of 60fps with frequent dips to 55 fps @ 1080p (changing settings from highest to lowest settings does very little) Cyberpunk 2077 - Average of 40fps without raytracing, average of 30 with raytracing @ 1080p (Changing from highest to lowest settings only gives me about 10 more fps). Horizon: Zero Dawn - Average of 55fps @ 1080p, changing from highest to lowest settings nets me about 20fps giving me an average of 75fps but still dips below 60 in some areas). DayZ: Standalone - Average of 50fps @ 1080p, changing settings doesnt do anything. World of Warcraft - Average of 52fps @ 1080p (Changing from highest settings to the lowest settigns nets a huge performance gain, this is the only game that has this effect. Ill sit at about 100fps with everything as low as it can go) Valorant - Average of 120fps @ 1080p (Changing from highest to lowest settings changed the average to about 140fps, also @ 1080p) Escape from Tarkov - Average of 50fps @ 1080p with drops to 45fps fairly often (Changing settings does practically nothing) These are just a FEW examples, this is a trend with literally every single game I play , Performance is abhorrent, with a PC like this I should easily pass the 60fps mark and given what ive seen on Youtube with the same build, should easily pass 100fps in most games even at their highest settings. Ive reinstalled windows a slough of times over the past year, run plenty of benchmarks that all came back perfectly fine, done plenty of clean driver installs using DDU, used old drivers new ones etc. Ive installed new and old chipset drivers for my motherboard and CPU, tried to overclock, underclock I have tried literally everything. Temps come back perfectly fine in every test and even while playing. All of the above done in an effort to fix the performance, also, I have switched the Ram and GPU with replacements to see if it fixes it and no, it doesnt. For those who are going to tell me that I need to play @ 1440p - I understand but dont. Various Youtube benchmarks, Youtubers with similar builds or even ones that are worse etc all play at 1080p and get much better frames than I do. Not only that but I should still easily be passing 60fps on mostly every game that I play, regardless of me being on 1080p or not. If anyone has ANY clue on what to do, please let me know I am desperate to get this shit fixed.

I have an issue with my GPU. It's a RTX 3080 FE. It won't go over 300-500mhz, even when I'm playing games or running a stress test. The only temporary fix I found is to roll back my nvidia drivers, but when I turn off my pc for the night and turn my pc on the next day, the problem returns. I've tried using ddu to uninstall all the drivers and reinstalling, I've updated everything possible, it didn't work. Anyone know of any fixes? System specs: GGU - RTX 3080 FE CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x Ram - Trident Z 32 gb of 3600 mhz (4 sticks, two 16gb kits) PSU - Corsair RMx 850w Motherboard - MSI B550-A PRO One Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB. I'm running out of ideas and options, please help.

Hello. So i bought new GPU. RX 5700. Upgraded from GTX 970. But i feel like its heavily underperforming. When i saw other benchmarks they easily ran most games at 75+ fps. Meanwhile i cant run Far Cry 5 properly on high on 60. I think my PSU could be the issue. But can there be something else going on? This is my userbenchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26780111. By looking at GPU you can tell something is off. My PSU is: Thermaltake 500W Smart RGB 80+ CPU: Ryzen 1600x Ram: GoodRam 2400mhz. I hope i can solve this fast because i barely see any diffrence in fps since this upgrade. Edit: 2x8 ram.

So I recently bought a Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC GPU, but when I compare my benchmarks to some I’ve seen on YouTube and other sites and such, it performs well lower, like ~30% lower sometimes. I would just like to know what is causing this?My best guess is that something is bottlenecking me but I don’t think I’m savvy enough to know for sure or by what, or maybe something else is wrong? Really don’t know. Thank you. specs Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC Intel i7-6700k Corsair Vengeance lpx 16gb Corsair RMx 650w MSI B150M Mortar

Hi, So I upgraded my PC a couple of months ago hoping that I would be able to get good 1080p performance from the new gear but seemly it underperforms in gaming I think it might be the graphics card specs are as follows -MSI Radeon RX 470 gaming x 4gb -intel i5-6600 (cooled by hyper 212 Evo) -G.Skill RipJaws V 2400Mh 16gb ddr4 ram -windows 10 Pro -Corsair cx500w bronze power supply -Gigabyte h110 motherboard -Seagate 1tb hard drive Here is info about the temps and some extra stuff: https://gyazo.com/58c19b1a1c031205b379a313e7b8510f https://gyazo.com/220f2339e318b79cd0f5ebdebfd6aab5 https://gyazo.com/0941a34d66c2ae16475c064a8bd2aeb8 https://gyazo.com/e02d9f3408f39dd4e93ae84e0564b9d1 Noticed this after on full low setting I get low fps on overwatch and other titles with constant fps drops Thanks for reading anything is appreciated if I missed anything ask and I'll edit this and try to provide the information Edit: after trying some of the suggestions and monitoring hardware through MSI after burner it seems that when I played overwatch I saw my GPU usage fluctuate around 50% but when doing a stress test the GPU manages to hit 100% or at least around that area so that might be the issue edit: Fixed the problem! It seemed like reinstalling windows did the trick fps is back to normal even fixed an issue of my mouse slowing down felt obligated to post this answer in case anyone has the same problem as I always wish i can find the answer right away when something breaks again thanks for every one who contributed to the thread

So, yesterday I bought an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB (G1 Gaming OC Edition from GIGABYTE). It seemed like the perfect budget card for my needs. I live in a very small country near the Adriatic, and actually functional computer hardware seems to be quite uncommon, even if it's supposed to be brand-spanking new. Before this card I had an AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB (Asus DirectCUII Edition). That card worked just fine. I used DDU to remove all AMD Crimson drivers and installed all the latest Nvidia drivers from their site... At first, everything seemed to be working normally until a couple hours after I got it, when pretty much ANY game I tried to play would crash to desktop almost instantly (in some rare cases the game could run for 5-10 mins before crashing.) Even at the lowest possible settings, Battlegrounds, Rainbow Six, Need for Speed, etc. would barely run for 5-10 mins with FPS counts that even any older potato could replicate. As you can imagine, it was incredibly unstable. And keep in mind that this card should be able to play all of these titles at high-ultra settings at 60 fps at the least. The only games it could run normally were much less demanding titles like Garry's Mod, CS:GO, and ArmA 3 at medium works for some reason. Could it be some kind of overheating issue? All I have for cooling is the CPU fan and GPU fans. And it is the summer time. I reinstalled ALL the drivers 2-3 times to no success. I switched wires around, checked other components to see if they were interfering in some way, changed settings in GIGABYTE Xtreme and BIOS, cleaned the entire PC of dust, NOTHING. My PSU can definitely handle it, I know that for a fact. Another thing to mention is that I did in fact see a bunch of black pixels and artifacts from time to time, which leads me to believe that this is just a bad card, a dud. I have no other options than just getting it replaced. I saw some other posts on the forums where people were saying there could be a motherboard issue which would just be devastating for me because I can't afford a new one at this time. Here are my system specs, and I really hope someone from the community has an answer:Motherboard: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0;CPU: AMD FX-8320 (8-Core);CPU Fan: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO;GPU: GIGABYTE Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB (G1 Gaming Edition);RAM: 8GB DDR3 HyperX Beast (2x 4GB - DUAL CHANNEL);PSU: ThermalTake 450W;HDD: Western-Digital Caviar Green 1TB;Case: LOGIC Cooling Master Mid-Tower

CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1500X GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 Phoenix RAM: Ballistix Tracer DDR4 8GB 2666MHz SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 250gb HDD: Seagate 1TB Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 Cooler: BeQuiet! Shadow Rock LP PSU: Corsair vs550 (550w) If I have a game (ex. The Witcher 3.) up, the memory clock sits at 405MHz. If I switch the power limit in Afterburner to 110 and move it a few times, the clock may go up to 4000 MHz. When I bring the game into focus, it'll downclock again. What I've tried to do to fix it: Update drivers (with and without DDU), Roll back the drivers, RMA the GPU, Turn up the power limit in msi afterburner to 110%. Fixes the crashing and downclocking, rarely. Switching the power limit multiple times sometimes did the job, not anymore. Switch performance in the NVidia control panel to "Prefer maximum performance". Also in Windows. The drivers are all new, the temperatures are fine, the RAM doesn't max out, even though it's 8gb. BIOS is at default, tried without any external devices, I have no viruses. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ey i dont know what happened i got this laptop and my friend wanted to play dying light so i entered the game i was on 1080p max graphics, while i was in the menu everything was fine but i joined my friend and when it loaded i heard this weird bzzzzzzzzz kindof sound and the laptop restarted and when i entered the game i had extremely bad fps even in the menu,i had like 10 or something and in the game it felt the same way... before on csgo i had about 170-220 average on my usual maps on 1080p and lowest settings. and now the performance is much worse than it should be on games, on all the games i play i get these lag spikes (more common depending on my graphics settings) when the game drops to 10 fps and on some i have them minute by minute but that's just because the game is demanding. Specs GPU:RX 540 CPU:AMD A12 9720P 4GB RAM idk what else

I just build my new pc with the following specs: - Power Supply -> Segotep 600w - CPU -> I5 7600k Kaby Lake 3.8Ghz - GPU -> Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 - RAM -> HyperX Predator 8Gb 3000Mhz - Motherboard -> ASUS Prime Z270-P The problem is that when I run any game I don't get as much fps as I should. For example I've seen people with nearly the same specs as me, just the CPU I think it was an I5 4690k, getting far mor fps than me. In Battlefield they would have 100+ fps and I would only have around 70-80 very often dropping to 40 with many hiccups having the same settings, V-sync off. Same thing goes for Call of Duty WWII in campaing, even worse sometimes. I use a TV as a monitor, should this be the limitting factor? I updated my BIOS, but it didn't work. I reinstalled my drivers, but it didn't work either. I need help guys:(

Hi guys, To start off here are my specs, Intel Core i7 6700, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb Cooler Master GM Series 80 plus Bronze 650W Gigabyte H170-HD3 Windows 10 64bit. MSI Gaming X 1070 GTX Seagate 2TB 7200rpm As you can see my heaven benchmarks are very low, or at least 67% of what people are normally getting on this thread on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/4on8cz/post_your_1070_benchmarks/. All my drivers are up to date. Not sure if I missed something here. Hopefully it's something I can fix on my end, RMA-ing would be a headache. Any thoughts guys? I'm baffled as to what is going on.

Hello, I have built my PC in the last couple of months, but I have not been getting the framerates that I should be getting, I think it could be the GPU, but it might be another part of my PC and any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated. My current build is : GPU - AMD Radeon 7970 - GPU Clock - 1125 Memory Clock - 1575 CPU - Fx 8350 Black Edition - Clocked at 4.4 MoBo - Gigabyte 970 RAM - Crucial Ballistix - 8GB 1600 PSU - Corsair 600W 80+ Bronze Tomb Raider Benchmarks On Ultimate using the ingame benchmark method Min - 27.5 Average - 37.4 Max - 46.7 I am currently on the latest AMD Catalyst Driver and have tried using older version, It is not just Tomb Raider, i got low scores on Unigine Heaven, and I often dropping under 60FPS on battlefield 3. The hottest I have notice my Card get is 68 (this was after a couple of hours running Unigine Heaven to get Benchmarks), but it normally sits around 55-65 in intense games. If there is any other info you need, just ask and i can try to get it.
