Hello, I was wondering, since at least 1 of the employees I provide tech support to now has a new Lenovo laptop with an M.2 NVMe SSD in it, I have realized that I have no way of interfacing with a drive like that when its removed from the laptop. Getting a M.2 NVMe/SATA enclosure is easy enough, just order one on Amazon. But what I was wondering is if there's an enclosure that's similar to a HDD Toaster, but for M.2 drives. I don't really see myself needing to clone NVMe drives, especially since I've moved all the employees I manage over to Microsoft 365. I also don't see myself doing that because all the current machines the other employees have are all using standard 2.5" drives.... but it would be nice to be able to clone M.2 drives. If there isn't something like what I'm describing, I suppose 2 individual enclosures would do the job. I think you get can get a nice one for like $25.

Recently have been experimenting with building PC’s in different ‘cases’ and have recently finished my first one. Would like some opinions or other weird cases. Not finished yet, but it does post and run.

It all started when I was 13, I wanted to get into PC building and I was working on a budget at the time, so I naturally got the Pentium G3220 GTX 750 ti Crucial 8 gb DDR3, etc. Now fast tracking to today, where as I was at Micro Center (not promoted) They had very cheap Ryzen 7’s like about 60 dollars off and ontop of the 30 that you get when bundleing and the RAM was on sale too! It was like a dream come true! So I took my christmas money, ~350 dollars and I bought the ASRock AM350 PRO4 ATX size for 30 USD, Ryzen 7 for 140 USD, Hyper 212 EVO for $33 USD and Ripjaws Ram for like $63.00 USD It was a pure gold mine and my friend’s Uncle had a spare MSI Geforce 1050 Ti and he sold it to me for 100 USD. So this Major haul of upgrades for my old Toaster which could barely run even Minecraft got Super charged, Reply with your guys’ experiences with upgrading.

Hello, i have noticed how big cancer is the P400S' front panel with only very smol intakes, so i want to mod it. I am really bad at drawing (and basically everything involving arts & crafts), so i made some basic designs using paint. I would put some kind of metal or plastic mesh in the holes (hotglue it from the inside). I dont need the fans to be seen through, just to give them more air. If you have any design suggestion please tell me, also i am curious what tools to use to do such modding mumbo jumbo.

Now its time to showcase the horrible train wreck that was my first pc build! Mobo: gigabyte GA 990 FXA UD3 R5 (Cant overclock worth a shit on it and its very expensive for the very few features it has) Processor: I started with an FX 6300 and when that wasnt enough power for me I upgraded to the 8350, instead of taking the 160 and buying skylake (Yes I know how to get an I3 mobo and ram for 160 dont believe me just note me) And to this day I regret both decisions. Graphics card: MSI R9 380 4GB (Dont even need the extra two gigabytes and sadly I will never experience Nvidias 3D which I do really want.) Ram: G.Skill ripjaws 1600 Mhz 2x4GB (the only thing I did right XD) PSU: Cooler master 550w (yea really I'm surprised it still works) Storage: WD black 1TB (No SSD, not kidding.) I am now about to get a job at Burger King to fix all of these mistakes and maybe sell my old parts to another looser. (I doubt anybody in their right mind would want them)

Hi guys I want to build a super cheap gaming pc in a toaster. I want to use a amd x4 860k (normally I go with Intel but 70$ for a 4 core ) and a asrock fm2878m-itx board ( can I overclock this cpu on this board?). Is this a good choice or is ther something cheaper (quad core) out there which I can oc:) And I want to buy a used gpu off of ebay for 100$ any recommemdations? Do you think I can play all modern games with a machine like this? Thx:)

Hello! I have been searching around and completely forgot I had signed up to be part of this awesome and very supportive community which may be able to help me with my predicament. I recently convinced my little brother to join the PCMasterRace and he has been very intrigued into abandoning his console and using it simply as a media device and start strictly PC gaming. Alas, he is a minor and he has nowhere near enough income to build a PC (about $10/month) so what I was thinking is to re-purpose the family PC, rarely used for anything other than paying bills (my parents) and adding a GPU for him to be able to play a couple games on it. My dad bought this PC a while back for the family but to be honest its rarely used as mentioned above. It wasn't until about two months ago that my brother really fell in love with my PC that he really wanted to experience more of the power of dat 120fps. So my question is: Since this is a PC built by Lenovo, what are some restrictions I'm going to be facing? Bottlenecks? I know enough to understand that a PC built by a manufacturer has a crappy PSU and that it will need to be replaced. I am aware of that and plan on buying him a PSU as well. I have consulted the Lenovo forums but in all honesty its a ghost town over there. I have also consulted the user manual but to no avail. I will outline the know specs of the PC in order for you guys to help me as best you can. As of now he only plays the super popular games (LoL, TF2,PoE) but only because integrated graphics only gets you so far. He would really like to try out some bigger games, and hes a big FPS shooter fan (he really wants to get into CS:GO and try out BF4 & BFHL). Hes running a 1080p 60hz Acer Monitor I got from a job a while ago.

Now, you can all hate on me later but for now, just hear me out. So this guy commented on one of Min-Liang Tan's Facebook statuses asking about getting a Razer Toaster. The weird thing is, MLT replied saying, "If your page gets a million likes, I'll make you a F****n' toaster." Since then, this guy has gotten 19.7k likes on his page in just under two weeks. So since then, MLT even posted about the page... In any case, I just really really want Razer to make a line of toasters. Ones that could print the logo on the toast.
