Hey everyone, so i basically have a somewhat huge problem with my Ryzen 7 3700X. For some reason my CPU - Temps keep spiking and falling down in a certain amount of time (See Screenshot from Corsair iCUE below) without the CPU usage being higher than 10% most of the time. My current setup looks like this: CPU: R7 3700X (Overclocked via Precision Boost Overdrive through the AMD Ryzen Master Software) AIO: Corsair H150i Cappelix 360mm AIO MB: X570 Aorus Elite RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB 3200MHz CL16 Storage: Multiple SSDs including a Samsung PM1A PCIe Gen.4 Drive GPU: Asus Dual GeForce RTX2060 Super Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 601 Fans used inside Case: 3x Corsair QL120 RGB So its not like the cooler is bad or the case airflow is that terrible or something like that. I also got the H150i Cappelix not even 2 weeks ago so its not that old. As I mentioned above, all of this happens IN IDLE so not Chrome, no Steam, etc. running. I found out that a certain process from the NVIDIA Driver called something like NVDLA.exe (not 100% sure on the name) was taking up ressources so i stopped the process manually via PowerShell but it didnt change anything. If anyone of you has some idea on why I get like 50°C - 55°C on Idle with a 360mm AIO please tell me. Im at the end of my knowledge by now. Cheers, Nightcore

Like the title suggests, I am currently rocking a vertically mounted 3080 Ti inside of an NR200p. At stock, underload, if recorded the GPU temps to be as high as 85+ degrees. After fiddling with he fan curve a bit (shown in attached image), I was able to get the load temps down between 75-80 degrees under load (depending on the game/benchmark) all be it with some significant fan noise. I know the 30-series cards are know to run HOT, but I feel that there is no reason foe it to be THAT hot. I currently have an MSI MAG 240 AIO on the bottom of the case as intake (don't worry, the pump is built into the rad), and 2 top fans working as exhaust. do you think rearranging the top fans to be intake will help with GPU thermals as to get some fresh are in the mix? or am I over reacting, and the temps aren't THAT bed? Full disclosure: I am currently rocking the TG side panel rn and I KINDA want to keep it that way....but if there temps need addressing, I can't do such with my current configuration, I will just mount the GPU horizontally and mount the rad on the vented side panel as a last resort. I know that set up has been proved to be the superior in terms of airflow and performance, but its not as pretty to look at HAHA.

Specs: NZXT H510 Elite case Ryzen 5 3600 (using stock cooler) Rx 5700 xt MSI B450 Tomahawk Max My ryzen 5 3600 reaches nowhere near it's advertised speeds. CPU intensive titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla stutter a lot, and I thought it's because of the slow cpu speeds. Is it because it's thermal throttling? If that was the case, how come assassins creed runs at 70 degrees but still gets low frequencies? I've attached a screenshot of ryzen master after about 20 minutes of a Furmark gpu and cpu stress test (at the same time). I've also attached an Assassin's Creed Valhalla benchmark showing the absolutely horrible performance. I did a second valhalla benchmark, this time with ryzen master open. It only went up to 70 degrees but I was getting a peak core speed of around 3500 MHz while the others were in the 2000-ish range. Also, the game ran way better this time (but still no where near how it should) compared to the first Valhalla benchmark. Wtf? As for the insane temps at full load (My cpu literally never goes to full load, all games stay under 50% cpu usage. But I did the test anyway for the sake of this), I have an aggressive fan profile on the cooler fan so it was definitely running at 100% speed. Did I apply the cooler incorrectly? I get like 50 degrees at idle most of the time. Will buying an aftermarket cooler fix all my problems? I really don't know what's going on so I thought I would reach out to Linus Sex Tips. He didn't respond, so I'd really appreciate you guys' help instead. Thanks

Hey I have seen similar threads, but they quite didn't my question that I have. I need some help, so I can understand what's the actual issue when it comes to that error message "CPU Fan Error!". I built my PC ~ 1 year ago and experience the same error when booting my PC -> CPU Fan Error! As a solution I disabled "CPU Fan Speed" in the BIOS and then my PC just booted normally. But I was never sure if that was the right solution, or if there needed something else to be done. To make it easier to follow, I uploaded two screenshots from the manual of the mainboard (ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Gaming). I plugged the one cable my AIO has in the slot "AIO_PUMP) under No. 4. I guess that's the correct slot to plug the cable, am I right? I don't have any other cables to plug in, so what do I with "CHA-FAN1" bottom left from the CPU (No. 4) and "CPU_OPT" + "CPU_FAN" top right from the CPU (No. 4). For me, it was the only logical thing to leave them as they are because I don't have any cables left. It was also logical for me to plug my AIO into "AIO_PUMP". So I don't quite understand why the "CPU Fan Error!" occurs and my PC doesn't boot unless I deactivate the option "CPU Fan Speed". --- --- --- Off topic: Can I set a color for my RGB fans without using the Corsair software? I think I have maybe a defective RGB Fan Hub from Corsair which causes issues and recently even caused my CPU to overheat. After I disabled the software my CPU temps and the RPM of the fans got stable again. I uninstalled the software and don't want to have rainbow lights in my PC distracting me. Just a decent static color, of turn it off completly. --- Temps: One additional question regarding temps. You can see in my screenshot (Armoury crate), that my idle temps on the CPU are around 50°C and the CPU Package around 60°C. Isn't that a little bit high for an AIO (Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX)? I have currently 5 Corsair LL120 RGB LED fans installed in the case and I plan to add the 6th fan the next time I will make some tests on my PC, which will be after I buy a new graphics cards (RTX 4080) and I am a little bit worried that the temps then will get even higher, when the air flow might get worse with a bigger graphics card, but I know my current 1080 Ti can get up to 100°C, so a newer graphics card can maybe even help. Can I get better temps when I would undervolt my CPU with the Curve Optimizer? After updating my BIOS my changes to PBO and Curve Optimizer were resettet. I experienced issues after curve optimizing. I got regularly blue screens, when I did it manually only by a few points I think I didn't experience that issues. Now I have them both disabled to see if I will get any firther blue screens. After building the PC I ran Memtest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic and got no issues, so I think my RAM is OK. I think my CPU might have some issues with OC/PBO/Curve Optimizing. All in all, I'm writing all of this out of my frustration after building a new PC with new components (fairly new at the time) and having problems. My old i7700K (5 year old PC) didn't stress me that much. --- --- --- My PC: - O11 Dynamic Mini, Midi-Tower, Tempered Glass - ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Gaming (with current BIOS version) - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X - Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 64GB DDR4 3600MHz - Geforce 1080 Ti - Samsung 980 PRO 2 TB - Samsung 870 QVO 2TB - Corsair LL120 RGB LED (5-6x) - Windows 11 (since 2 weeks)

Hello guys, I need your help. During gameplay my gtx 1080ti is achieving heavy tempatures between 80-84 celsius. Which of course is making my computer super noisy and very annoying. Whats interesting is that if i remove side of my case tempature of GPU is dropping down to 70-73 celsius. It looks like my case airflow is terrible. I will post a picture how my airflow looks now and i would be really glad if you can help me what to change or if its completely normal for this kind of setup. Thank you very much! Hey! i did a post asking what display I could get for inside pc case and raspberry pi got my attention, I found this raspberry combo on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/233592556803 and this temperature program to run: https://www.mod-bros.com/en/blog/b/how-to-create-a-hardware-monitor-inside-your-pc-case~37 for all you smart people out their who know stuff about raspberry pi please help, Will the eBay listing have all the parts I need which are listed in the temperature program article? Does the raspberry pi come with a built in power supply? Or does it come with the one listed above? I added a screenshot of what I required to run temp monitor program, will the eBay listing have that or if not, what is the cheapest one that does?

amd High temperature on Ryzen 7 3700X - [HELP]
ACiNYX posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
So I built a PC yesterday with a 3700X and Stock cooler. I'm not an enthusiast. So I really don't know anything in depth. So while playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey in Ultra settings for an hour or more my CPU temp hit 89-92 C. (Auto Voltage > ~1.45V) Then I changed core voltage to override mode and fixed voltage to 1.375V. Then I ran AC Odyssey and my temp was 81C and increasing quickly. So how do I fix my temperature? I have an msi X570- 2 replies

So I build my first pc this weekend and I just have a question about the temperatures I'm seeing from my cpu. When I'm not using my computer and it is just standing on the desktop with nothing open the temperature will sit between 36 degrees and 47 degrees Celsius, occasionally jumping to the mid 50's or higher, and it is the same if I'm just surfing the internet with a couple of other programs open like discord, file explorer. I haven't really tested the temperatures in games other than fired up skyrim special edition and played till the point where you customize your character and it seemed to stay stable in that time with the occasionally spikes to the mid 60's. So my question is, does that sound like some reasonable temperatures or do they seem high? the cpu I'm using is a ryzen 5 3600, with a cooler master hyper 212 cpu cooler.

Hello! I have overclocked my i7-5820k to 4.3GHz a few weeks ago, but i noticed that its running at about 52 degrees C when idol. under full load, it only goes up to about 65 or so. Is it normal for it to run this hot when its not doing anything? I have the Cooler Master 212 EVO for my heatsink, and i just replaced the thermal compound, but that only pulled it down 2-3 degrees. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know if this is a problem for most people, but the majority of time that I want to check the temperatures of my gpu, cpu etc is when im playing a game. Alt-tabbing out to look at GPUz is kind of immersion-breaking, so does anyone know of an android app that take the temperatures of the sensors in my pc, and display them on my phone?

Hey, I'm enjoying my PC build so far. Does anyone have an H440? What temperatures does it usually run at idle & under full load? I'm seeing 60's - 70's on other websites. Mine's sitting at 40's - 50's, and sometimes 60's when under full load, is this decent for this case? (Keep in mind, my temperatures are in Celsius.) EDIT: Currently at 38 degrees Celsius while on the forums

Hi, I just put together my first build and have had some trouble with the CPU temperatures. I have an i7 4790k, an Asus z97 pro wifi, and I'm using a NZXT Kraken x61. Yesterday I ran prime 95 small FFT s and my temps were hitting 80C so i stopped, As soon as i had the chance I cleaned all of the thermal paste off the cooler and the cpu, and put on less then I had before and saw my temps go down t 60-65 under the same test. Then I turned off my computer and brought it home (I built it at work)and when i startedit up myprime 95 temps are back to 80C. Any one know what's happening and what I can do to fix it. Thanks my idle temps were 29 this morning and now they are 34 if that helps
