I use a RAZER blackwidow essential as my daily driver and was thinking of adding an old keyboard I have a a macro board. Is it possible to trick RAZER synapse 3 into recognizing it as a RAZER product that I can edit from there or would I have to use Taran's luamacro and auto hotkey method (which I am not opposed to doing I just would prefer to use synapse)

I installed Razer Synapse 3 for my mouse (Naga Hex 2) and keyboard (Black Widow Elite). However, it seems to cause Microsoft Edge to freeze and sometimes freeze the games for a few seconds. I decided to stop it from running (i.e., disable it via the startup and services) and all seems to be running as per normal. The only feature that was lost was the control over the RGB LEDs - which I could live with. I would like to know is there any other features that I am missing out that I don't know yet? Is Razer Synapse 3 necessary?

Can I use any mouse dongle I find to program it to my mouse using Razer Synapse? Or do I have to buy a replacement specifically for Razer or buy a new mouse?

Hi All Hopefully just a quick one! I wondered if AHK can be used in place of these peripherals' default software. Can you map them without iCUE/Synapse? I did some research and heard that due to lack of onboard memory you couldn't, that other people managed it, that some people managed it but it wouldn't save settings etc. If anyone could link this being achieved/a guide that would be amazing!

almost every time i open up call of duty black ops 3 my razer stuff just goes nuts, my mouse lighting profile doesnt work, sometimes the middle mouse button fails to work, my razer man o war mic volume get mega boosted sometimes and all of this happens only when i play black ops 3. why is this?

I booted up my PC today to find out that I had been signed out of Razer Synapse. I tried to login but i am met with red text which says "STSTEM ERROR: [3808]". Does anyone know how to fix this error? I have uninstalled and reinstalled synapse, and checked the time (because apparently that can cause the issue). This is really annoying because I cant see my sensitivity or use macros without this software. PLZ DONT JUST SAY GET LOGITECH OR SOMETHING!

I just got a razer BlackWidow X chroma a few days ago and i made a lighring profile. Everytime i restart my computer it just goes back to the original wave profile. I have saved/exported the profile and dont know how to enable it. Please help

Hi! I just bought a Blackwidow X Tournament Edition Chroma, and i'm trying to change the lighting profile on it. It won't let me. I've re-installed synapse five times. when I hit "apply" in the configurator, the button turns gray like it should, but the keyboard doesn't change from its stock breathing spectrum cycle. H E L P

I bought a Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and I am trying to use the Chroma Apps but they never show up in the app list. Also I cannot use any of the custom downloaded lighting profiles. Has anyone else run into this problem with any other Chroma devices or have heard of a solution? I have have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Synapse program and the SDK that comes with it.

Well my Razer programm does not Autostart and its annoying does somebody have a fix for that? I diddnt find any fixes for this problem on the internet..

Hello all, Been digging up ALL of the information I can find on this. Checked Reddit, Razer, and MSI. I am having trouble syncing my RAM, Motherboard,and GPU with my Razer Pad, Mouse and Keyboard. Mystic Light controls the internal components, Razer controls the peripherals just fine. Any help would be so appreciated since I really really don't want to buy Razer/Hue RGB Strips and/or replace the RAM/MOBO for inside the case just to sync right. I can live without the RGB on the GPU. But if it just isn't compatible I guess I have an excuse to upgrade some stuff. I have tried: Game Sync turned on in Mystic Light (baked into Dragon Center) Chroma Connect installed and it can see MSI Mystic Light, and it's visible in Studio. (See ScreenShots) Reinstalling multiple versions of Dragon Center/Mystic Light based on my mobo and GPU Reinstalling Synapse, and installing it before Dragon Center/Mystic Light and vice-versa Many, many reboots (soft and full). Updating Mobo BIOS. Updating all applicable applications through their in-app update tools. Hello! This is my first post so please let me know if I am not including enough information. I have checked all day on various forms on reddit, Razer, and this website. So if some thread has an answer please link me to it because I couldn't find it. I recently bought a Razer Kraken TE and am a little overwhelmed with all of the settings, drivers, etc. I have noticed that Synapse tells me "Select THX Spatial Audio as your default playback device for the best audio experience" but when I select "set as default" the audio totally cuts out except for a half second clip of sound every 7ish seconds. The question is, do i really need to select "THX Spatial Audio" to utilize the spatial audio? Thank you!

Hi so I have 2 problems 1. I have the wireless Razer Man O War and when I’m in game they are stupidly quiet but discord, YouTube, spotify, etc is insanely loud when I use a different pair of headphones or even earbuds my in game sounds loud and I can actually hear footsteps so what’s going on there 2. I’ve had these headphones since Christmas and ever since I’ve been trying to get them to show up in synapse I’ve tried 3.0, 2.0, and surround but none of them have my headset listed if anyone has a clue about what’s going on please reply ASAP I’d like to get this resolved fast

Hello everyone. Does anyone know how I can check for mouse acceleration in Razer's program Synapse 3? I just got a Deathadder elite, never had a razer product before, and it just feels weird compared to my previous mouse, when I move it pretty fast (especially in game) it's like it my crosshair moves more than it should (on the same dpi level and sensitivity as with my previous mouse). I mostly play CS GO. I thought maybe it had some acceleration but I do not know how to check it in this shitty program. I saw in people's older videos on youtube with older versions of synapse that there was an option to change the mouse acceleration, lift off distance, etc. I can't find them at all in synapse 3. Does anyone know what I can do? Will installing an older version of Synapse help (although installation for synapse 3.3 started immediately after I plugged it the mouse)? And yes enhance pointer precision is disabled in windows settings.

Razer Synapse for my Deathadder 2013 won't stay logged in, i have to type in the password every time my pc starts. I notice for some days now that i have to wait a few seconds mabye 20-30 sec after im logged in (desktop) before i can use my internet, other than that i have no problems, it's just annoying that razer synapse won't stay logged in, aut logs in to my account. Do i have to try reinstalling synapse or?

OK, my tale begins one month ago. I decide to do a clean install of win 10. so I reset my pc to wipe everything. I had just gotten in my Razer Orbweaver and was excited to set it up. I wanted a clean machine and I needed to bang out the cobwebs it had been like 3 years since I last reset anyway. I just wanted to get rid of useless stuff. So I did this now note before I had RAZER devices installed. BLACKWIDOW OVERWATCH EDITION/RAZER NAGA TRINITY. Both worked great had no issues with synapse in the least. So I install everything that is suppose to get on the pc. I used LIVE UPDATE 6 as its faster for all the drivers and stuff. I flash the BIOS myself using a USB device. Now whenever I boot up my pc the issue is that either there will be not light display or i will get a light display but they will nto be in sync with one another. I open RAZER SYNAPSE GO TO chroma tab and try to select a lighting option and I get no response or change. The only way I can get it to work is by basically going to uninstall the program and then clicking REPAIR. If I do that then it will work for the duration of the time I am on the pc that session. However if I reset the pc or shut it down. It reverts back. No word from razer its been two weeks and they escalated the problem to their tier 2 department. You should see the back and forth I have had with these guys and the stupid pile of case numbers I have. I have done a ton of troubleshooting everything from going into device manager and uninstalling each and every RAZER device listed both hidden and visible. and leaving the devices disconnected for a time before reconnecting them. Uninstalling the software completely including the RAZER SDK which I had to do in safe mode and reinstalling it after I connected my devices back to the pc. I'm at a loss I have been dealing with this so long now. I wouldn't even have any RAZER devices had my wife not gotten the keyboard and mouse for me as a Christmas Gift this past December. But my Corsair was failing me and my Logi mouse had seen better days. Since I do MMO and shooters I like the versatility of the trinity mouse. Being able to swap out plates is really nice. Please gods of the internet shed some light of what I can do to fix this issue. Also once we figure out this synapse 3.0 issue well concentrate on the issue of 2.0. Some of the same issues but cant change the colors under chroma configurator so I just uninstalled 2.0 and set the Obrweaver aside for now. DxDiag.txt

My razer mouse won't be detected by Synapse at all. I am using Synapse 2.0, I'm also using Windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, So I bought Razer DeathAdder 2013 RZ04-0084 6400dpi 4G (not from razer directly) . and its not getting detected by Razer Synapse. I've tried installing/re-installing with and without the mouse plugged in still says no device detected. I even installed the DeathAdder_driver_v3.05 even that didn't detect it. I then made sure it wasn't a fake. I entered the product info for warranty It detected it as a Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic Gaming mouse valid till 2020. It works fine. but I want to adjust the dpi for competitive gaming, currently if I swipe to fast it just gives out/stucks. any tricks that you know about? I want to avoid this coming off as a rant. These are just some thoughts I've been forming after a few months using a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016. I like the way the keys feel. And if that was all there was to it, this would be one of my favorite keyboards I've ever owned. I mean, when I bought the thing that is all I even concerned myself with. Every keyboard I've ever owned up until this point was 99-100% function without any special software so I thought the total of the software would be adding some custom macros and customizing some of the animated effects. It turns out, there's a lot more to Razer Synapse and a lot less to the keyboard. Moving from a full size Apple Keyboard on one setup and a simple but nice Logitech Illuminated Keyboard on another I expected any drivers and software to be a small package that let you set up the keyboard and then close it. That's seriously what makes the most sense. Having a constantly connected account and always running background application is just nonsense. As various Windows updates killed the software and brought it back to life over the past few weeks (I held off on the Creator's Update for stability's sake but moved on due to new security concerns with Intel) I noticed that the default mode for this keyboard was the "breath" effect which fades all of the keys in and then all the way out to black. This is annoying when using your PC for video or typing in the dark. So I've spent far more time than I ever want to again signing into my keyboard's internet connected account and reinstalling its software trying to make it work so I could have just a normal stable illumination. Let's add to all of this that the keyboard isn't even supported in Razer's newest version of Synapse. A 2016 product that requires connected software is already becoming obsolete. A mechanical keyboard at that. I still really like the typing experience on this keyboard but I can never justify buying a Razer product again. How do you mess up keyboard software? How do you not store the settings on the keyboard itself? If someone offered me $20 for this thing I would take the loss and buy the simplest illuminated mechanical keyboard I can find. If I've learned anything, it's that with keyboards, simple is the best. KISS. I guess this is just for others considering a Razer product to consider.

So I finally got my new pc build to work correctly and after using it for a about 2 days it was asking me for random ups of various programs and needed resets.Not thinking anything of it I turned off my computer and when I go to turn it back on today my mouse and keyboard stop working when I get to windows, they both work fine in bios. This actually happened before but I thought it happened because every time to try to update razor synapse it would give me an error saying it could not update some driver because it was used in another program... What program I barely installed anything, hence new pc build. So what I did to fix the first time was reinstall windows and re download all my programs and not install razor synapse but now that it happened again I guess I can re download if that is not the problem. How can I get my mouse and keyboard to work without having to reinstall windows. Works perfectly well in bios. P.S. I did not activate windows 10 yet. Will activating it let me download drivers correctly or let my mouse and keyboard work?

Hi all, I'm having some problems with my mouse settings and Razer Synapse. I have the Razer Orochi mouse, for my laptop. I really like the mouse but because of it's small size I have to use the Razer Synapse software to disable the side buttons because my finger kept knocking the sensitivity up and down. The problem is every time Razer Synapse starts on my laptop it resets the mouse pointer settings. When I got the laptop the mouse sensitivity setting was on the highest point of the sensitivity slider - this is fine for the trackpad but makes the mouse feel unruly. After getting the Orochi, I found that changing the sensitivity in mouse settings down to 6 made the mouse feel a lot better to use. But on every reboot the mouse settings go back to the fastest setting. I quickly opened the mouse settings before Razer Synapse loaded and it was still at 6 from the last time I changed it, but as soon as Synapse loaded it reverted back to the highest sensitivity setting. Has anyone else experienced this? Best, Rob

Recently, my keyboard's 'CTRL' keys have not been working properly. Both the left and right take two full presses for it to register in windows. This problem has only been happening this week and I can't find the source of the issue. I know it takes two presses because in TeamSpeak, I have right-ctrl mapped to mute my mic. When I press right-ctrl once, it does nothing. If I press it a second time, then it mutes the mic. This problem makes playing games impossible.

here's the problem. i set my DPI to 400 since the i have the mouse about a year ago. but when i turn on my PC my synapse doesn't automatically run and im fine with that because that's what i told it to do because i don't use my PC to game all the time. For browsing i already got used to using the side button to go back at a site. then when i want to play games i sometimes forgot to turn on the razer synapse. why would i want to use razer synapse ? because i bind one of the side button to the 'K' witch is CS GO's in game button for voicechat so i really need it. but my in game (CSGO) sensitivity change after i turned on razer synapse even though the DPI stays the same ( i assume the mouse remember the DPI is the same all the time without the razer synapse because i felt no different comparing razer synapse on or off on the desktop) . normally i don't have this problem, but i think it happen after i updated synapse. can someone help me with this ?

Hi, I see Razer Synapse has a slider that allows you to control the lift-off distance. Why would you want a higher lift-off distance anyway? What should I set it to?
