I'm doing an Undervolting and following this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU5qLJqTSAc to correctly identify what core fails when i get an error, so go the Event Log and take the value to modify it till goes stable. But i would like to do it from Ryzen Master so i don't need to restart and enter the BIOS each time. But comparing CPU-Z and RM, one of them start counting cores from 0 and the other one from 1. So lets say Thread 3 givean error, which CORE will be: 1 or 2 in Ryzen Master? Thx.

Quick specs: Asus X670E-F Gaming WiFi with BIOS 2202 Ryzen 7700X Corsair CMH32GX5M2D6000Z36, 32GB DDR5 6000 C36 "Optimized for AMD" So the problem I'm encountering is, I can enable EXPO from motherboard UEFI just fine, but if I want to enable Eco-mode and EXPO from Ryzen Master, the PC will not post (only post though safe mode meaning the BIOS setting are rest.) Any idea what could went wrong?

Whats up everyone? I have been using CTR 2.1 for a few months. I attempted overclocking on my own with my old 3700x, but just couldn't get it down. All youtube videos seemed to be too specific to motherboard manufacture and BIOS tools, that were never the same as my Gigabyte (Aorus Elite Wifi). I got CTR back then and it got my 3700x to 4.375 which I never was able to even HIT on my own or with PBO. After some months of trying, I got a 5900x and swapped it, and after much more tinkering was able to get it to work with my 5900x. I am getting about 4.5 and boosting for longer up to about 4.8. I was hoping to get to 4.9 or higher, but I just don't know how to get it there, and don't want to mess anything up. My cooler is the NZXT x63 280mm AIO. So all of that said, I am trying to find out if anyone has experience with Windows 11 and CTR 2.1. I have hit up Linus on Twitter as well as Jay and Gamers Nexus, but nobody will cover the 1usmus software, which is obviously their prerogative. I am hoping to find out if I am wasting my time trying to run this program with Windows 11 and 5900x, or if I should be trying to use Ryzen Master to achieve a higher clock on the CPU. If anyone knows of a professional or well layed out video for overclocking on Gigabyte BIOS with Ryzen 5900 or any 5000 series, I would be interested to find it. Or if anyone has personal experience with overclocking using these pieces of software. P.S.: I love you. edit 1: added a few words to make sense of a sentence

Hello guys, recently i noticed high temps and high voltages on my 2600x and i found a guide on how to undervolt it with ryzen master. Everything works fine, i managed to drop my temps from 80c down to 63c in prime95 and system seems stable. The only problem i have now is that every time i turn on my pc or wake it up from sleep, ryzen master resets and i have to manually turn the undervolt again. On the photo below are the settings i dialed in, 4000MHz and 1,175v. I lost around 100 point in cinebench but traded it for much lower temps and fan speeds. My question is, is there a way to somehow do this exact thing but in bios so i dont have to manually do it every time?

Cooling and temps for my PC, I think "idle" temp is a little high. Ambient is around 25-28C. CPU: Ryzen 3700x Cooler: Kraken X73 - Rad in front Thermal Paste: what Kraken X73 comes with. GPU: ROG Strix 3060 OC Fans: Total of 6 Noctua NF-A 12x25 in following config 3 intake in front in pull config on the rad. 3 exhaust with config 2 in top and 1 in the back. Case: 4000D Airflow PSU: Corsair AX760, bought in Nov 2017 In Ryzen master my CPU temps is between 35 - 40C when using Chrome, and it goes up to 65C in 10.min test with Cinebench R23. I think under load the temp is OK, but is Idle temp between 35-40C normal? Also, peak speed is between 39755 - 4002 MHz under the 10.min test in Cinebench R23, is this OK? As you can see, Ryzen master is using it's "Default mode".

Hello! I really hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if I'm missing something...? My 3700X will never ever go above 3500MHz.. I have PBO turned on and below is my Ryzen master during using CineBench R23 multi-core benchmark for around 20 minutes Using 32GB 3600MHz G.skill Trident Neo DDR4 and have matched fabric clock to 1800MHz (xmp on) Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro with F33e bios from a few months ago What am I missing? I've scoured the web but can only find people saying they can't boost above 4.2GHz etc.. I know 4.4GHz is for single core boost but I never see ANY boosting. Single core does not even boost over 3500mhz Computer Type: Desktop GPU: Nvidia 2080 Super CPU: RYZEN 7 3700X 8 CORE 16 THREADS Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro BIOS Version: F33e RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident-Z Neo 3600MHZ CL16 Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 PRO 20H2 GPU Drivers: 466.27 Description of Original Problem: CPU won't boost Any help appreciated. Hello everybody, I've been using the R5 3600 for a while now, but I've never actually looked at the settings. I just bought a 3060TI and figured that, while tuning that, I should probably also have a look at the CPU. Now what I understood is that AMD now has PBO for longer sustained clocks and AutoOC for automatically overclocking the cpu. I don't necessarily want to get every last drop of performance out of the CPU since I don't want to bother with stability issues but I have two questions: - Would I see my performance go up if I buy a better cooler? (I used to have an H75 and I'm thinking of getting a Dark Rock pro 4 or a Gelid Phantom Black). - What are the easy things I really should enable in Ryzen Master (or the bios). So far I have only enabled PBO. I can also enable AutoOC, but then do I need to set the boost override clock for it to do anything? Last time I tried Timespy crashed... Any advice is welcome Thanks PS: I have already enabled XMP PPS: When I run a blender benchmark, all the indicators in Ryzen Master stay in the green, apart from the Temperature which gets to orange.

Hi, guys, I need some help. This is the troubleshooting form from r/AMDHelp because I posted there first: Computer Type: Desktop - custom build GPU: Reference Vega 56 from Sapphire, manual tuning CPU: Ryzen 5 3600, stock Motherboard: MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC, latest BIOS RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS2K8G4D30BESBK, auto OCed in BIOS to 3600 CL16 Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 GPU Drivers: 20.9.2 Chipset Drivers: Not sure, Windows Update installed some (1.0.0.80, 4.13.0.0, 5.12.0.38) Background Applications: Firefox Troubleshooting: I installed Windows 10 1909 a couple of months ago and the chipset drivers I had downloaded from MSI's website. After some time (not sure any more, maybe right away, maybe weeks later) I tried installing Ryzen Master but the setup would do nothing. It finishes, says it installed successfully but it isn't installed. I tried installing new chipset drivers downloaded both from MSI's and AMD's website but now they wouldn't install as well. The error I'm getting is "System configuration is not compatible for raid drivers or applications installation." "A System Update is required to complete the installation." I left it at like that again and some weeks later I tried again - same thing. Some time between the tries I updated to Windows 10 2004. After that the errors were the same. Next thing I tried was uninstalling the chipset drivers so I can do a clean install. I did the way AMD recommends from the "Programs and Features" window in the control panel. In several of my tries it would say that there was nothing to uninstall. However, one of the times it worked and uninstalled the existing drivers. I tried installing again but the same error was displayed. Can't remember the details here but between restarting and messing around with Windows Update it installed some drivers Microsoft deemed appropriate before I could stop it. This didn't change anything regarding the installation issues but now I don't have the Ryzen power plans. So I left it like that 10 days ago in frustration. Today I wanted to install 1usmus's tool but it requires Ryzen Master and once again I can't install anything. Does anyone have any ideas and suggestions? I'm at a loss. I tried so many little things from around the web but nothing seems to help. A friend suggested installing the separate RAID drivers but during the installation they want to set NVMe mode to RAID. Firstly I found no such setting (only for SATA) and secondly would that affect the information on the drive(s) in any way? This seemed like the right forum but move it if it's better in the motherboard one.

So a couple days ago I upgraded my system. My old Ryzen 5 3600 and Mobo (b350) I gave to my gf as an upgrade over her 1600x. But for some reason the 3600 started acting weird. As seen in the screenshot I took of Ryzen master her temps are in the 70c and PPT, TDC And EDC are almost maxed out when the system just runs Idle. I check task manager but couldn't find anything that was using the CPU that intensive. I checked EVERYTHING for my feeling, I swapped the motherboard for an b450 I had laying around. Updated the bios for both the b450 and 350. Installed the chipset driver, Changed the powerscheme multiple times to different options. But looks like nothing works. Setting a base voltage of 1.31 also doesn't help. It only happens sometimes whe she leaves the pc to go do something else. When she plays a game ( mostly Valorant) The temps dont go beyond 55c (checked with MSI afterburner). Also it looks like her core voltage is all over the place. Keeps dropping to 0.9 and goes up to 1.4 randomly and then drops again. It's an ongoing thing and I have no clue what the hell is happening. When I was using it as my system it was running perfectly fine. For cooling she is using a Be quiet cooler rated for 120tdp (same as I was using) and artic silver coolingpaste. Which always kept my system cool. Even when stresstesting 3x in cinebench. Anyone have any idea what is happening?

I want to Update the AMD Chipset Drivers and also the Ryzen Master to the last version to try out the new Curve Optimizer feature because i feel a lot more safe doing it here than in the BIOS because RM not do any permanent change in the BIOS until you apply them again, i don't care to open RM and apply the profile again with every reboot. If yes, i should uninstall all of them in the order they appeared?: And for the last, i should uninstall RM before uninstall the Chipset Drivers? My current UV config in RM i have been using for months without problems: And CTR results: Thx in advance.

I have installed Ryzen master on my system before and it worked fine. One day it wouldnt load so i uninstalled the program and went to reinstall. When attempting to reinstall it states that "ryzen master installation is prohibited from installation on this system". Does anybody have a fix for this or any previous experience. I have attempted uninstalling,Deleting all related items for Ryzen master in Registry. The AMD driver remover tool and then after checking this when attempting to install the Chipset driver it states that "This installer is intended to be deployed only on an AMD system. Exiting installation as the requirement is not satisfied." Any Ideas? Ryzen 3600 B450 Steel Legend 16gbs of DDR4 3200mhz

Hello everyone, the ryzen master software doesn't apply any settings after i reboot my system. The only thing i enabled was "Auto Overclocking" and set the "Boost Override CPU" to 200. I saved the settings in a profile and applied it. After every restart i have to go into the software and enable the profile again. I saw some posts saying that the profile is not stable if it wont be applied automatically, but i never have had any crashes and temps are 75-80°C when running Cinebench r20 for 30 minutes. While gaming the temps are more around 60-65°C. Is there anything i could do without digging my way through the BIOS and apply the PBO-stuff there?

Hi, just build a ryzen pc, but the temperatures are 46 in idle. First i tought it was the cheap cooler that i put in the beginning, so i bought a big cooler master hyper evo. But im's still in 46° in idle. Those are the ryzen master temps, in CPUID HWmonitor the temps are 60° or more. What should i trust? Maybe it's a driver problem for reading the wrong temperatures? Can you link me the good drivers? I cant find socket am4 drivers on the msi website!! It doesnt show up! Can somebody link me the right driver to install? I don't have a dvd reader in the pc.. Or is it something else the problem? Specs: Mb: msi gaming b350m CPU: amd ryzen 1600x in stock GPU: amd HD5750 (lol don't judge me, i'm wating the rx580, but the shipment is taking so much) Ram 8gb corsais vengeance @2133 mhz PSU: 550w corsair.

I OCd my ryzen 5 1500X to 3.7 GHz accidentally through Ryzen Master. I have not put the system under any load thereafter. I can't seem to go back to the default non overclocked settings now. I'm stuck with the overclock and I'm worried about the CPU life and I just want to go back to the default factory config. I tried resetting the bios but it didn't work.

I have a Ryzen 3900x, there's a really weird behavior I had observed from the AMD Ryzen Master software. When I have Chrome open playing a youtube video, 9 of the available 12 cores would went to sleep. But when I closed everything and show only the desktop, rarely any core go to sleep, they just go about 200-300Mhz each forever.

Hey guys! I've been looking around for answers for quite some time and I haven't found any solutions or any similar question about my problem. I built my computer fairly recently and I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, I haven't done overclocking yet beyond changing the speed of the RAM. This morning I tried to check temps using the Ryzen Master software to compare it with what I was getting from HWMonitor, and everything was still running fine. Later on, I was doing some work stuff and decided to get up and rest for a while and left the PC running. I decided to get back to work and saw my PC went into rest mode. It didn't want to wake up and the debug code E0(S3 Resume is Started (called from DXE IPL)) was showing on the motherboard. So I had to do a force shutdown and I booted into OS then it suddenly shut down and restarted again. The debug code also changed from the usual A0(IDE Initialization Started) or 24(Reserved) to D3(Some of the Architectural Protocols are not available). I got into the OS found out that after uninstalling Ryzen Master it was back to the usual codes. But now every time I boot, after a few seconds it'll shut down, the fans would stop and it would try again. It would boot into the OS and run programs for a few minutes then do it again. Here are the solutions I've tried: 1. Go into BIOS and go back to default settings: FAILED still boot looped 2. Took out the RAM and swapped their places, ran everything at stock, and swapped out my UPS for a better AVR: Test Ongoing; seems stable for now... I'm worried I might have killed my CPU, but judging from the temps, voltages, and speeds I'm seeing in TaskManager and HWMonitor, they seem to be okay. I'm hoping my last solution works out in the long run. I just hope somebody out here can tell me what could have potentially happened to my PC with all that's going on. Here are the specs btw: Ryzen 2600x with Stock Cooler 2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3000MHz MSI GAMING Z RTX 2060 Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 WiFi EVGA Supernova G+ 650W Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB WD Blue 2TB NZXT H500

Hi forums, So recently i got a few new components for my pc: 3900x, asus strix x570-e, nzxt x62 and 32 GB corsair vengeance RGB pro. seen as on the forums and the recent LTT video: it is said that the max safe voltage for ryzen is 1.35 (even AMD itself says so), even when overclocking, and that 1.3375 would be even better. so i lowered these voltages in my bios with stock speeds. windows boots, so that's not really the problem, the problem begins when i want to stress my system. upon opening Ryzen master it instantly reports temperatures around 50 degrees, which is already on the high side for an idling CPU. but when i start stressing the cpu with AIDA64 Extreme, it gets weirder. Suddenly Ryzen Master reports temperatures of 95 to 115 degrees. which is above its default limit of 95. seen as i have an AIO i would think these temperatures would go up at least a bit slower, and sure enough AIDA64 does report lower temps (arount 40 degrees less when stressing). many times my system crashed after just stressing the CPU at stock speeds of 3.8 Ghz. i have tried 4.0 Ghz, but it reports even higher temps whilst my cooler should easily be capable of handling this. currently i have my voltage set at 1.3675 to have some form of stability. but this should not be required. another weird thing is that when i stop the stress test before the system crashes, ryzen master drops down the cpu temps back to 50 degrees nearly instantly, making it look like more of a cpu usage meter rather than a temperature one. the thing i just don't get is that i can't even reach stock speeds with the max safe voltage that AMD itself confirmed, so if anyone can help in fixing this issue that would be greatly appreciated. another little thing i noticed just while typing this post, is that occasionally my keyboard loses power for a split second and then just works like nothing ever happened (i can see by the RGB lights turning off for a split second) full list of system specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x MoBo: Asus ROG Strix X570-e RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance CPU Cooler: NZXT kraken x62 PSU: Corsair RM750x GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1070 OC edition Keyboard: Sharkoon Sharkzone MK80 (brown switches) Mouse: Logitech G502 Case: phanteks p900s Storage: 1x Hyperx SATA SSD (480GB - Windows install) 1x WD Black SATA HDD (2TB) 1x WD Black SATA HDD (4TB) i hope this is an issue that can be fixed with some tweaks to settings, and is not a hardware problem. but i will thank you in advance for the help, Sigma-Erebus

I just built a PC with a Ryzen 5 2600. AMD says the maximum temperature is 95C. Now here’s the issue.I’m playing Warframe earlier when I look over at my Corsair Link and see the CPU temp at 97C, and I’m pretty fast to close the game. I download Ryzen Master, and restart Link.About ten minutes later, I come back, and my CPU temp on Link is 77C but it’s 27C on Ryzen Master. So what the hell temperature is my CPU? I don’t want to break it by being 100C+ all the time but I don’t want to run ass low settings on every game just to get below 90C. So I’d like to know which is correct.
