Hello, Not so long ago around 1 week ago I built my first PC with these specs: GPU: RX580 (4gb) CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x PSU: be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER 11 650W 80 PLUS Gold RAM: Corsair vengeance RGB 2x16 3200 MOBO: MSI Tomahawk Max b450 storage: (SSD) 500gb sunsung 970 evo, (HDD) 2tb WD blue After I built it I was playing with my friends and after 30 mins it Froze then got black screened for couple seconds then it showed me the error (I already installed all of the drivers) and then sometimes when it crashes it would do the same thing but then restart the computer. And now its also doing this when I have the game in the background or not even having a game open it will black screen me or it will freeze my screen. I already did the following things: - Installed recommended drivers - Installed older drivers - DDU and AMD cleanup utility then reinstall The motherboard is also updated to its latest. What else can I do?

So, recently I sold my PS4 to be able to buy a used graphics card for my system. Right now I have an office PC with the following specs: Intel i5 6500 8 GB DDR4-2133 RAM running in dual channel (2x4) HDD 250GB PSU 200W Office slim case So obviously, this isn´t a PC Master Race but its a start for me, and actually a pretty good system for what money can buy in my country (Venezuela). Ive got a tight budget but the main things I wanna upgrade are: Another 2x4GB RAM for a total of 16 An 250GB SSD (and 1TB HDD in the future when I get more money) The PSU, because 200W arent nearly enough for a graphics card, to an new EVGA 550W N1 A new case because the GPU and the PSU isnt gonna fit in this one (but this is probably the less important thing and my father used to build PCs on 2008-2010 so he got an old bigger case in where I can fit everything and has plenty room for ventilation) And last ond the GPU I have two options. A 4GB RX 580 Sapphire Pulse OC or an GIGABYTE WINDFORCE GTX 1060 3GB OC. So my main goal its being able to run mainly Call of Duty Warzone at 1080p and more than 60fps with decent or normal graphics. For what ive seen in benchmarks and youtube videos, the 1060 has very similar FPS to the 580 in most games, but when it comes to Warzone (which I suppose you need that 1GB VRAM that the 1060 lacks) the 580 outperforms with more than 20 FPS the 1060. So heres the deal, the 1060 cost 30 bucks less than the 580 so I will have a little bit more of money to spend on something else but 3GB I think will not old very well on the following years. So that 1GB more that the 580 has that, indeed its just only 1GB more, its probably going to old better since Im not planning on major updates to my PC in the short-medium term. Basically, is it gonna be worth spending those 30$ more for the 580 and making me more poor than I am right now or the 1060 its gonna be enough?

Hello, today i had very strange behaviour from my second GPU. I had my RX 580 in my old computer, which was running on AM3+ and 970 chipset. PC was working just fine, but the sata disks and most prob. Also pci was runing in legacy mode. Then i just finished another build with i5-10400F. I wanted to reuse the GPU, so i puted it there, and debug diode got stucked on VGA. Nothing really helped, so i reached to my main PC for my RX Vega 64 and tried booting with that in the new build. Suddenly i got into uefi and i was wondering what i can change to make the RX 580 work in there. So i switched CSM into legacy (both PCI and Sata), changed gpus, and it started working. Then i got into uefi againg, and changed it back into uefi settings. It works from now on. So my question is: Why is this happed ? Did the GPU stucked in legacy mode and needed instruction from new board to switch into UEFI? Was it luck or just some kind of magic ? Thank you for any explanation PS: My first post, so if i did something wrong, please correct me.

Hello, I've recently bought a rx580 4gb to upgrade from my rx550 2gb, and I was wondering if I could run them in crossfire. If so, what advantages could this give me in gaming, or would it be better to out the rx550 in a old rig?

So I've been having these stutter issues for a while now, I don't know when it started. My specs: -XFX RX580 4gb -Ryzen 3 2200g -Gigabyte B450m Ds3h -8gb of Aegis 2133mhz DDr4 Ram (4+4) -RM650x 650 Watt 80 plus gold rating It happens when I play Fortnite, I get these sudden fps drops and stutters, makes the game feel unplayable. It is most noticeable when I benchmark my gpu on Kombuster, there is a clip attatched, and also here is a benchmark score from userbenchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/25703333 (my ssd is fine, I had something downloading I think), my gpu is consistently bad (2-10th percentile) So far, I have tried to: -Use DDU -Manually reseting bios -Undervolting GPU -Overvolting GPU -Reinstalling Fortnite -Reinstalling Windows -Many other guides and fixes I found on similar forums If I have missed anything, please tell me, this is the first time I post so I'm not exactly sure what to put here, thanks. 2020-03-23_14-59-23.mkv

Sincerely would appreciate everyone's help done my first self build in a long time with wife and kids during lockdown. Went for a Thermal Take V21 case AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Asrock b450m HDB r4.0 Sapphire RX580 Colink enclave 600 fully modular Idea being it has lots of room for expansion but was still well within my £650 budget at the time. Anyway short version I'm having weird crashes all the time no under specific load not under specific heat and I want to diagnose but not sure how. See attached image of the artifacts seen when crash happens, like I said sometimes after this it will continue as if nothing happened other times it will have killed the game other times the whole PC with reboot. Sincerely hope you can help.

So I have a cyber power prebuilt that is a couple years old now. Specs: Ryzen 7 1700x Radeon rx 580 4gb Corsair 2x 8gb ddr4 Total of 3 terabytes of storage The red flag came after I ordered the new Rtx 2060 online. I found out that I only have a 430 watt PSU in the prebuilt. Some say the power draw of the rtx 2060 is not that much more than the 580 but I just don't want to fry the card with an inadequate psu. I also would rather not drop extra money on a new PSU and have to rewire the whole system if I really don't have to. Please help! If so any recommendation on a specific psu?

Hey so I ve bough a new graphics card XFX rx 580 4gb like a week ago and the monitor started blinking so i ve looked everywhere and tryed v sync which kinda helped but it was still there time to time i thought that it was heat problem or something like that so i installed msi afterburner and set the fan speed from 30% to 70% (idk if this would ve helped but i tryed) and when i started game the computer turned off and didnt want to boot i tried giving it older GPU (yes i used DDU) that i changed and it worked perfectly so i thought maybe it was PSU and i already had 600w so i gave it 650w which should be more than enough then i tried upgrading bios nothing, then reseting bios nothing i dont know what to do next. Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64bit XFX rx 580 4gb Motherboard H87-HD3 DDR3 16gb 1866mhz Intel I5 4570 SSD 500gb samsung HDD 1tb Nothing is overclocked.

I owned it for a while now. i changed the thermal paste(Arctic MX4) and it still shoots up to 88 degrees in the division 2. I changed the voltage of the core to 1.130V and core clock to 1380 Mhz and the memory voltage to .95V and memory clock to 2000 Mhz. idk what went wrong but my cpu case is well ventilated(i have lik 8 fans 5 of which is intake and 3 is exhaust) I dont know what else to do.

Im using HW info for the monitoring since afterburner for some reason messes with my card and causes the AMD catalyst to crash. im using an RX 580 4gb and for some reason, the GPU memory reports about 5gb vram usage. The game doesnt lag or drop frames so i thought it may just have been some kind of error but im not sure. I was playing the division 2 when it happened.

in my country here, the RX 580 4GB version is similarly priced to the 1650 super. I have seen from benchmark videos that the RX 580 gives alot more fps compared to the 1650 super but it was realised back in 2017 and considering it is almost 3 years old, is it still worth it to get the RX 580? i play only Esports titles like Dota 2 and maybe some Apex legends and somtimes want to stream a bit on discord for friends and all. so which one is the better option in 2020?

Hey Everyone, I just built my first PC and when I put any stress on the GPU I get either BSOD or display just disconnects, PC stays powered on with GPU fans throttling and a hard reset required. Build specs: Ryzen 2600x ASRock B450M Pro4 Sapphire RX580 4GB Nitro+ (bought used, 6 months old) Corsair Vengence LPX 2x8GB 3200 EVGA 500BR Adata SU800 512GB SSD When running through Valley, Furmark or any games, after about a minute the screen will flicker green and then go black and display disconnects, or I get BSOD. On BSOD the stop code is THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER Checking the Windows Log after the crashes I get an error that reads the following: Faulting application name: Radeonsoftware.exe, version: 10.1.2.1788, time stamp: 0x5de85bf9 Faulting module name: Radeonsoftware.exe, version: 10.1.2.1788, time stamp: 0x5de85bf9 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000402e67 Faulting process id: 0x2020 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5c2a076dfdf92 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\Radeonsoftware.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\Radeonsoftware.exe Report Id: 029fc9f8-2e75-4930-ad57-3624edd2928e Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: It consistently appears to be the Radeonsoftware.exe that is crashing on my logs. I've updated drivers, BIOS, changed power settings and power limits and even tried a different power supply (750W this time). I don't have another GPU to try swapping out. Perhaps I roll back drivers to something older until I find something more stable? Any help would be appreciated, I've been pulling my hair out for the last week with troubleshooting. Thanks

Hello, as the tags says, my PC is a i5 7600 with a rx580 4gb and 16 GB of RAM at 2400mhz. I'm having trouble having a smooth performance on call of duty warzone because of all the stuttering going on. I'm using Riva tuner hoping to get 60 constant fps but I can't make it. My monitor is a 60hz refresh rate monitor. At least I want to know why I can reach constant fps as in the videos I've seen on YouTube with my exact setup, and I can't even with all the graphics set on low.

Hello guys this is my first post here i need help im out of ideas of what to do haven't had this kind of problems before. So i bought new pc few days ago and i haven't been able to play any games due to stuttering i have good fps but still stutters and slows down (stuttering appears even when browsing and watching videos) My specs are: OS: Windows 10 build 18363 Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING bios version: 3003 Corsair CV550 WD Green 240gt M.2 (for os) WD BLUE 1TB HDD (for games) Asus Dual-RX580-04G Radeon RX580 OC Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 3466 MHz CL16 AMD Ryzen 3 3200G The stuttering isn't about temps that i have checked temps seem to stay bellow 80c But something weird pops up on my eyes.. For some reason my 3466mhz gets down clocked automatically to 2400mhz on default bios settings And the default settings set CPU Voltage to 1.6volts..... After i took of bios battery it went down to 1.4volts witch seems more reasonable.. I tought that it had something to do with ram speed at first so i tried overcloking RAM and i was able to get it 3000mhz with the help of DRAM calculator for ryzen 1.7 with no luck it still stutters... i have ran stress test on RAM AND CPU for atleast few hours with no errors and temps seem to be ok. SSD has been tested on HDD Scan alltough its new and it seems to be fine altough it had few <500ms sectors. So does anyone have any knowledge what could be causing these stutters. is there any known issues on these components or on the bios of this board and what am i missing... give me ideas please. sorry if has misspelling inst my native language.
