Hey guys and gals, So, yeah, I am wondering, what is the best, strongest, least prone to leaks, rigid, see-through, piping that has the least amount of troubles for open loop water cooling. I would like to run distilled water, a little-bit of herbicide, and maybe some purple water-cooling. Look forward to your answers Thanks

Hello all! It's been quite a while since I've been on the forums, at least in the main part of the forum (hello users of The Garage in Off Topic). Due mainly to my car costing me a lot of money, I haven't been putting much attention into my PC. My car btw: But all that is changing, I am putting my car on hold for now to work on my beloved system that I have continuously improved upon over the years (which started as an HP Pavilion desktop!). This is the current state of the system. No GPU, as I sold the 1060 I had in there. Running the system using integrated graphics. Specs are as follows: Intel Core i5 4570 AsRock B85M-ITX AData Premier Pro 16GB DDR3-1600 Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Cooler Master Seidon 120V Define Nano S EVGA BQ 650W Pretty standard stuff, save for the no GPU part. Obviously I haven't even touched the system, still have some stickers on the front and stuff. So what will this build log consist of? Well, first off we need new hardware. This Thursday I will be ordering the following parts to get my system back as a top performer: Intel Core i7 4790K PNY GeForce GTX 1080 Founder's Edition WD Blue 1TB (since I need some more storage as well) That should do it for the hardware upgrade. I play at 1080P 144Hz so I think the 1080 is a good fit. Now, for the liquid cooling part, which I'm sure most of you are here for. I will keep the same white LED lighting (that for some reason looks very blue in that photo I took) to illuminate the case. The stickers on the front will most likely be removed, I thought it looked cool for a while but it will mess with the clean look I'm going for. I haven't entirely figured out the tubing runs yet, but Paul Hardware's Hot Box 2.0 is serving as a strong contender for how I will run my tubing. I'll post more detailed plans for it later on as we actually get started. That's it for now, this Thursday I will for sure be ordering the GTX 1080 first, as I am in desperate need of some video games. Stay tuned! Hello Everyone! I'm looking for some advice for my new Intel 7900x+GTX 1080Ti Workstation/Gaming Build. So far I have everything done but tube bending. I am looking for a good hard tubing user who likes to plan pipe routes or could suggest some mockups in mspaint for example. Here is my IMGUR Album... I have EK 16mm PETG tubing and just about any fitting you would need. I also have a drain ball valve. There are 2 Rad's total. The top has a 280 and the front has a 420mm. I'm having problems planning the loop out. I plan on using bends for most of the curves instead of fittings however i have several 45's, 90's, 2x45's, Y spliter, and 3F Block Splitter This is the new Cosmos 700p Case. Hey guys! So I'm new when it comes to rigid tubing. Today I was putting the tube in for my SLI graphics cards. At first I cut it too long, so I cut a second one about 5mm shorter. Here's my question: The tube just needs to slide in past the two O-rings, right? It doesn't have to make it all the way to the stop at the end of the fitting? Reason I'm asking is when I installed the shorter tube, it's a really nice fit IMO, makes it past both O-rings on each fitting, but doesn't quite make it to the "stop" at the end of one, it's maybe 1-2mm short. Is this OK, since the O-rings are what makes the seal? It's not loose, fits tight. I'm using BitsPower 12mm OD fittings. I'd like to add too, that after chamfering the ends of the PETG, it was impossible to get the inside completely smooth like the outside with the sandpaper, is this OK?

The project gets its name for two reason, one of which is because I am Re-using all (if not most) of my component from my current rig, and secondly because the case itself is named 'Define'. Hey LTT. Figured I'd show off my two rigid tubes I've bent so far. I am pretty proud of myself since this is the first time using rigid tubing and my first time water cooling. I've gone through two 36" tubes with only 3 fails, I have 6 more tubes left and I need to create 3 more bent tubes. Using UV blue coolant by primochill, yes bad coolant but it will have to do for now, I'll replace it in 6 months or so. Waiting on my two GPU water blocks and bottom radiator then ill be good to go! *UPDATE* So here are some newer pictures. I installed the bottom radiator and bent one tube from the reservoir to the rad. Yes it's a weird bend since the fitting doesn't line up straight with the red outlet but you won't see it anyway. My GTX 760's have alphacool waterblocks on them, waiting on the SLI bridge and blue LED strip to arrive then I can finish off my build for good! Sorry for the bad camera quality, I am using a Sony Xperia U. Also, the cable management is OK, I may redo it though especially since on the camera it looks AWFUL. Need to side in the hard drive cage and connect those up too. Let me know what you think.

Hello I'm going to be doing acrylic tubing soon and I would need some help to pick up good fittings. I'm planning to go with 12mm or 13mm size tubing. I will be doing bends by bending the tubing anywhere I can. So what fittings would you guys recommend?

Hi guys Im looking at creating a new PC and I want to use rigid tubing. But I tend to research alot before starting a build. And I have hit a snag. I cant really wrap my head around how the fittings holds the tubing in place. Does anyone have any relevant links to literature or possible videos explaining this? What I have found so far hasnt really explained it to my satisfaction. Thank you in advance.

So I've decided on my parts(here and here) but I'm confused and haven't decided on my color theme(I know, it's very shallow). I'm thinking of either green or uv green tubing w/ black compression fittings, red or uv red tubing w/ black compression fittings, or change the case with a black and white then have a white tubing with black compression fittings(can't wait to get this project started(in maybe one year or so (but I'll get the main components after 4-6 months))). Any advice?
