Good morning, everyone I have a problem I'm hoping everyone can help me with. My girlfriend and I just moved into a new condo, and we have 2 gaming setups in 1 room. The problem is that when I talk, I can hear myself on her mic and same for her (on discord and stream labs). What is the solution for this we both have Elgato Wave 3 mics. Do we need to buy new mics or is there something we can do to make these work?

amd AMD Instant Replay taking too much fps.
Ferdi Petersen posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
I use amd instant replay to make clips that include party and game chats. I dont want to use xbox game bar because it don't include game and party chat record and has worse quality video than amd adrenalin. I lose alot of fps in games when the Instant Replay is switched on, I don't know why. I suppose it's amd's bad programs. I loose about 20 - 30 fps in 90% of the games and I cant think that it can take so much just because of a 30 Seconds Clip recording in the background. When I use normal recording like obs and record long videos it doesnt stutter or lag like the Instant Replay option. If anyone has a solution, please tell me because I really want to use amd recordings. My pc spec are: Motherboard : Asus tuf B550-Plus Wifi CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5500 GPU : XFX QICK RX 6600 XT PSU : Gamdias Kratos E1-600B RGB 600W RAM : 2x8 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 4000MHZ RAM My main drive is a NV.ME SSD Samsung Evo 970 I use stock CPU cooler My monitor is a 1080p 75hz Monitor Please tell me if you have any solution.- 2 replies

Budget (including currency): 800(ish?) Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: variety Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): ryzen 7 3700x Ram 32GB gpu: Radeon rx 570 power sup: 750W Dual LG 4k monitors first time posting… this is my first pc build. I’ve had it for a couple of years now. I’m a videographer and editor by trade. I got into streaming for fun last year and I’m looking to upgrade to a better graphics card to be able to handle streaming and game performance, maybe some game recording to mess around with some fun projects, but also be able to do more work from home. My current editing software is DaVinci Resolve which, at this time, is not compatible with AMD’s current version. I believe this will get fixed in the future but whether I stick with AMD or not for this purpose isn’t really a deciding factor. I’m just hoping to make a decent upgrade at this time. I am not computer literate… so looking up graphics cards and seeing mostly numbers and “ti’s” is like trying to read another language for me. I’ve been looking up GPU’s and seeing good things about the Nvidia Rtx 3070’s other than price as well as the new 4070’s but a lot of YouTubers are saying not to buy them? I’m not trying to break the bank… but I want a decent upgrade and I don’t want to worry about upgrading again in two years. I’m hoping to find something solid for what I want to use it for at a decent price. Can anyone give me some good options?

I'm curious if you can play normal VHS tapes in a D-VHS player. I'm getting artifacting on my setup and want to know if this specifically would be the problem.

I'm trying to find a no-compromise solution to record extremely smooth gameplay footage. I want to achieve the following: 1) Up to 4K60 recordings (usually 1440p) 2) Leaving Gsync enabled on my main monitor 3) Consistent frametimes in the recording 4) Minimal to no performance impact on my gaming PC 5) 1440p 240Hz on my monitor (I'm aware capture card passthrough is limited to 144Hz so I wouldn't use that). I tried the following but encountered issues: 1) GeForce Experience Shadowplay: inconsistent recording frametimes when Gsync is enabled. When I cap my FPS at 60 or disable Gsync, I get smooth recordings. 2) OBS: inconsistent recording frametimes when Gsync is enabled, large performance hit 3) OBS+NDI: recordings seem smoother, but there's still more of a performance hit than Shadowplay. I've heard mixed results about using a capture card and duplicating displays, can anyone confirm if this actually works well? Do most YouTubers/streamers just not use Gsync? Cause I really can't stand tearing. Thanks!

Hello! Can anyone tell me what phones can record a 8k video at 30 fps ? (except the oneplus 9 series ) Thanks.

To record a phone call and keep it for myself or my lawyer, is legal in my country. Hi guys, how is it going? May i ask for your help, please? I had android 6(on huawei phone) and i used to record with the app "cube acr", everything worked fine. Now i own a phone with android 11, i downloaded cube acr but i cannot record, i hear very very low volume. If i change the recording source i cannot hear anything, it is completely silent. If i use the "default" phone dialer app, which is "google phone", i can record and the recording is very good in terms of audio. But i dont like it because is not automatic plus i hear "recording started". Also i read that the other person might know that im recording them. I want cube acr app to work or a similar app, i dont like google recording. Can anyone help me or suggest me a way to fix the problem so i can record with a third-party app? Or can you suggest me a different app which works? Do you think there is a problem somewhere? Maybe a conflict of some sort? Thanks

Hello, I've started a new project myself, which is making an instagram account like a cloud services and saving my game screenshots over there. Account is ready, screenshoots are ready to upload but there is a major issue on the way. My monitor is 2560*1440 HDR monitor, because of that (i think so) screenshots are saving as .jxr file. Which is great when known as great quality etc. But it's hard to manage in the same time. Nothing than Microsoft Pictures managed to open it. Instagram doesn't accept this files, android won't open, ios won't open. Couldn't find any app to turn them into .jpg or .png Kinda confused, do you have any idea about the solution? Best Regards *I've uploaded some of the pictures if are interested.

So I've been trying to record my gameplay on my PC, but I will continually go down to zero FPS, like micro stutters. I have pretty good hardware, my CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700, 8 cores 16 threads, I have a gtx 1660 (msi ventus factory oc version), 16 gigs of ddr4 at 3200 megahertz. The only things I could upgrade would be my motherboard (msi b350m pro vh plus) and my hard drive (2tb 5400 RPM), but I'm looking for some sort of fix in bios, or task manager, or something, can someone please help?

Today (February 22nd, 2017) a tech youtuber (I don't know if i'll get him into trouble if I say his name, but everyone knows who i'm talking about) released his AMD Ryzen video at the same time as pretty much every other techtuber (come on Jay, where's your video?). Some hours later, this video was made private and another video was reuploaded later. In the reuploaded video, some references to the AMD Vega cards were bleeped, but that was probably a joke. A part of the video was cut out where an overclocking event was filmed. At this event, Ryzen CPU's (probably 1800X's) were running Cinebench R15. One of theze CPU's was hitting in the 5.1 Ghz range (5.14? 5.16? I'm not sure) and apparently set a world record for 8-core processors.I think the score was something like 2453, but don't quote me on that. This would be extremely impressive for a CPU running at 5.1 Ghz, because the current 8 core record (2445) was achieved on a 5960X at 6.044 Ghz. The youtuber polsted a comment saying "YOU SAW NOTHING" in the comments section of his reuploaded video.

Hello, I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong Thread but I am new here. I have been looking for a capture card for the purpos of recording an analog video feed from an endoscopy camera for the past year, but I have not found anything useful. The resolution is about 480p - so nothing too crazy. The problem is that I need a card that supports saving the footage to the disk and displaying it on the screen - but in real time. There can not be any delay between the camera and the video feed on the display because it's impossible steer the camera with a noticeable delay. Does any capture card < 200$ support this or is this only possible with crazy 5k$ professional cards? I guess most people wouldn't care about a delay because I have never found anything about it on the internet and for capturing games and video streams it does not matter. thank you!

I've been trying to get my mic to record cleanly but have been fighting a hiss and I think I've gotten rid of the hiss but I'm not sure if it's loud enough could you guys tell me if It's loud enough I think its there but I could be wrong and also could you confirm that theirs no hiss. Audio issues are a pain to figure out. levels test.wav

Take away the fact that 120GB is not a high capacity AT ALL, is it smart to record videos on a small capacity SSD? I've heard that putting big files on an SSD (and removing them afterwards) shortens the lifespan of a SSD. The lower the capacity, the worse it shortens the lifespan. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

Is there any way I can record my ps4 in 1080 without game card? Please help.

edit: Problem solved, see this post below Big fan of the channel so figured I'd try to ask this here. I'm looking for ANY cost effective way to record 4K60 HDR gameplay from 1 PC, to another PC. Can be peripherals, networking, a ton of Raspberrys.. anything... don't care so long as the solution works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like every current device out there now. CONTEXT: I play this game called Star Citizen, in 4K60 (only gets 60fps in Star Marine though). It has great fidelity but my PC can't handle recording it in 4K60 while playing it. My rig is https://pcpartpicker.com/user/DavidAELevy/saved/GVxp99 i7-6700K Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 EATX G.Skill Trident Z 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4-3400 Memory two Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti's Gaming G1s Samsung SM951 512GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (wish I didn't buy these, they're bloody OEM, no support and don't work with Samsung software) BenQ 27-Inch IPS UHD LED Monitor BL2711U (4K60 4:4:4 10bit 100% sRGB & Rec. 709, things look really nice on this monitor!) I have a 2nd PC that's an i5-6600k with a 980ti and 32GBs that I can use for recording or streaming. I can output to it via this 4K60 splitter 1x2 ~$40 USD I'm building my own 45U server rack and will eventually centralize all my PCs into 4U cases (still trying to figure hvac cooling issue, need to get a specialist) and have a Quanta LB6M to 10GB connectivity PC to PC and to a raid array eventually. So I'll be able to have these two PCs stacked directly on top of each other. if only I could just turn both these PCs into one... I was hoping there was a way to make this happen, recording 4K60, with an additional $500-ish USD budget or under? 4K60 is gorgeous on my screen and I'd love to share it with friends, but I can't justify dishing out $1000+ USD just for the privilege of owning such a capture device. Elgato hinted at having a 4K60 option 1st quarter of this year but I haven't seen anything more about it since then, It's a frustratingly situation. OPTIONS: Here's 4K60 capture options I've looked at (overpriced for me): AJA - Kona 4 ~$2000 USD Atomos - Shogun Inferno ~$1500 USD Avermedia - CE511-HN ~$1200 USD Blackmagic - DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G ~$1420 USD (not sure if this would work) Datapath - VisionSC-DP2 ~$2000 USD (not sure if would work) Magewell - Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus ~$900 USD (not sure if claims are legit for 4K60 4:4:4 capture) And that's about it AFAIK. Possible temporary solution? I thought maybe a FPS reducer to go from the 4K60 splitter to 4K30 output would work, I could then use any number of assorted crappy capture cards to record the 4K30 feed... it's a compromise that could work... but I haven't found such a device yet. How it reduces the FPS is probably also important. I'd imagine there is different ways of doing it that affect quality? Instead of just removing every other frame. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks for any help, if there's a way, sure some body here would know. Thanks!

1600x Ryzen5 1600x Good For Elgato 60s?
ThatOneAsianKid posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Hi guys, I am just wondering if Ryzen 1600x will be able to record at the highest quality using the Elgato 60S Capture Card. I currently have an i5 4690k, and when I use my capture card, the CPU jumps all the way up to 100%, which causes poor gaming performance (FPS and stability) and very choppy quality + recording as well even at its highest settings in the Elgato 60S. If any of you have experience with an elgato with a 1600x, please let me know on your experience and quality. Thanks. -
I just started some youtube channels and need more people to play with that have microphones, my current games: overwatch, csgo, league, gta v, rocket league, shell shock, minecraft :), castle miner z XD, gmod, this is all for pc gaming, if you want to join me or want in the same boat looking for people to record with here is a discord server I made for it.. https://discord.gg/SVhwNjj
