I recently brought a Oneplus 3 and want to get a Phantom Glass screen protector for it. The one you can buy from Oneplus doesn't go all the way to the edge and feels horrible. Sadly Phantom Glass don't seem to stock them for the 3, even though they do for the 1 & the 2. Does anyone know why they don't support the 3? Have they announced anything regarding support for the 3? Like many users, after cracking the first iPhone screen I had years ago, I have come to swear by screen protectors and cases to prevent expensive repairs in the future. However, with the new capacitive touch that Apple is producing in its latest round of iPhones (which other companies are likely to also, ah, be 'inspired by' if it catches on), this brings up something important. The 3D touch, as Apple calls it, allows for some feedback on the screen. I'm really curious as to how this will work with cases or coverings that are used to mitigate screen shattering, as even if Apple is touting a new, stronger screen on the specs sheet [i've had way too much negative experience to trust any phone makers, save Nokai, on their claims of how tough their devices are]. From full coverings like Otterboxes to screen covers like Phantom Glass, how well will this feature carry through? Would introducing another layer of glass protection to prevent shattering dull or eliminate this effect? Have any of the major reviewers (Linus, Austin, Marques, etc) spoken up about doing any investigation into if there are any tradeoffs to be had with screen protectors using this type of technology, and if there are any, whether or not it will be worth said tradeoffs? If someone already has a video (independent, not an advert for a new product line) already up, could someone link it? Frankly, I'm going to be getting a new phone sometime a week or so after launch and supplies are (hopefully) less strained, so I have some time before making a purchase and after the public release of Apple's implementation of the technology to decide whether or not to drop and additional $35 -$60 on a new screen protector.

Hey LTT I'm pretty annoyed at the moment, because my Nexus 7 2013 has finally died. A few moths back, I found a hairline crack in one corner, but the device was still usable. However, now I've got a hairline crack in all of the corners, which is interfering with the entire screen, not just the cracked portions, and I cannot even unlock my tablet, thanks to the interference. Is it worth buying another screen from ifixit such as: https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Parts/Google-Nexus-7-Wi-Fi-2nd-Gen-Front-Panel-Assembly/IF235-000-2 or would it be better to get it from somewhere else (i will get 10 bucks off the ifixit thing thanks to the WAN show) OR should I just get a new tablet all together... Keep in mind that I have heaps of random stuff that I don't want to loose (game saves etc, spent probably more than 500 hours days gaming on the thing). What I might be able to do is to get a new tablet and swap the motherboards around?!? Also keep in mind that I'm a student and money is pretty damn tight (saving for an overseas trip, and parts for a new computer). Wrapping up: Broken tablet screen, should I replace the screen, get a new tablet or ditch the whole thing altogether? Thanks, Ben P.S. I'm in Australia EDIT: I have a dbrand skin on it, and will be putting phantom glass on it if I get a new one, fixed link

It was CES 2015, and Luke and Linus had just finished a tedious day of exploring the booths. Linus pulls out his phone, when Luke proceeds to start stroking it gently, Linus gazes him right in Luke's warm welcoming eyes, with a look of confusion. "Why is he rubbing my phone so sensually?" Linus wondered to himself. Luke proceeds to lean in closer to Linus."Hey Linus why does your phone feel so smooth?" he asks. Linus stares at him, wondering how Luke could not know this majestic item, the item that every human being needs for a smooth, sexy, phone using experience. Linus leans towards Luke's ear slowly, brushing Luke's hair gently behind his ear so he can hear Linus's wise words loud and clear. "Well you see Luke, this is phantom glass, the best darn protectors out there." Linus whispered. Luke proceeded to sweep up Linus into his arms with joy, as they went to the Phantom Glass booth at CES together, and bought 30 screen protectors for Linus and Luke to use in the bedroom later. Fin

About Phantom Glass: Phantom Glass is a Canadian based company located in Toronto, Ontario. The screen protector itself if made of Gorilla Glass which is ultra tough tempered glass. Unlike traditional plastic screen protectors, Phantom Glass can take a beating and keep on going. Resisting shock and scratches while leaving your phone in great condition acting as a shield from other elements. Applying Phantom Glass: This has got to be the easiest screen protector to apply. They state it can be applied in under 30 seconds which is true! Included in the box is a wipe to clean your screen, microfiber cleaning cloth and a soft one-touch applier. I've always hated applying screen protectors, making your screen spotless then trying to line everything up but the worst part are the bubbles! Traditional plastic screen protectors require you to gently apply and spend 10 - 20 minutes removing all the little annoying bubbles. Phantom Glass can literally be tapped on the screen and you will see zero bubbles. It basically applies itself! Quite impressed, I enjoyed applying Phantom Glass. The box includes a 5-step instruction manual, pretty simple. Written Review: Phantom Glass impressed me... a lot. I can't say that about everything. The current price for the Surface Pro 2 (as of 2015-04-27) is $40CAD. Now you may be thinking, what a high price for a screen protector! No way, traditional plastic screen protectors usually start at $20. They also have to be replaced every year or so depending on the usage which adds up quickly, not to mention how lame they are compared to Phantom Glass. Even other tempered glass protectors cannot compare as they too lack quality and functionality. Phantom Glass states their screen protector will fill-in scratches on your screen making them invisible, guess what? It's true! My Surface Pro 2 has gone without a protector and case for almost a year leaving behind many small scratches and noticeably large ones too. This was amazing, after applying the screen protector they seemed to be invisible. I'm really really happy, no more visible scratches! The nano-adhesive really does its job as well, the first time I applied the screen protector, I didn't have it perfectly aligned so I peeled it off. Wow, it really sticks to the screen which is great and won't allow debris under the edges. Did I mention you can re-apply the protector as many times as you want? Yes, it is re-usable! Phantom Glass fit on the screen perfectly and became unnoticeable when applied hence "phantom" in the name. It's oil and fingerprint resistant which allows for easy cleaning due to the oliophobic coating. I was able to clean my dirty prints in a few seconds without an liquids, just the included microfiber wipe. The quality of Phantom glass is amazing and well worth the money. Conclusion: Overall, I would have to give Phantom Glass a 5/5. They somehow made a boring screen protector become exciting. I no longer have to worry about scratches, fingerprints and general shocks. I bet you could even apply it over a cracked screen as a quick and easy way to hold the pieces together and prevent your self from being cut. Screen responsiveness feels exactly the same if not better, no issues here. This is the best darn screen protector out there, I'd recommend Phantom Glass any day. Thanks for reading! TL;DR Pros - Easy installation. - Works with cases. - Can be re-applied. - Easy to clean. - Fills in scratches. - High quality. - Ultra durable. - Crystal clear. - Sticks very well. - Lifetime warranty. TL;DR Cons - Doesn't cook for you.

I don't know mutch about Screen Protectors, but what I do know is that each time I buy one its a shitty piece of plastic with loads of bubbles. I just bought a Moto X (2014), I looked at Phantom Glass and noticed they didn't have any. Do any of you guys know a good brand for it. If possible available in Europe?

I know you guys have seen a lot of advertisement about phantom glass in the past week and a half, but I had to add my two cents as well. For those of you who don't think that phantom glass is worth your time or money, take a look at this: This is my brand new HTC One M8 with a phantom glass screen protector. What you see right there is the aftermath of a drop from my pocket while sitting down onto a laminated wood floor. Not much to look at, but that's still a crack. Now here's the kicker. I knew that PG offered a lifetime warranty on all their screen protectors. However, I didn't know to what extent they would replace a cracked product. Apparently they go pretty far out of their way to make sure you're satisfied because I just got an email from PG saying that they shipped a replacement out and it's on it's way here. Just for that teeny, tiny crack. So, to all you guys that were upset with Linus for his "fawning" over PG in his sponsor spots or even the separate video he made from CES showing how tough the glass actually is, GO SHOVE IT. Phantom Glass earns my vote as the only option you should ever consider for protecting your phone's screen not only because they look and feel so amazing, but also because they will replace your screen protector FREE OF CHARGE for even the smallest of cracks. TL;DR: Buy a Phantom Glass. Open a new tab, head over to their website or their amazon store and go buy one. Now. If they replaced mine for free, rest assured they will do whatever it takes to make sure you are completely happy with their product and service.

So, I just got my Phantom glass screen protector this morning and installed it, I was very excited to have this screen protector since I have heard so many good things about it. However one of the big selling features, the bubble free installation, doesn't seem to hold true. I've got 3 small (1-2mm) bubbles and one rather large (11-13mm) bubble in the screen. Everything else about the screen protector is great though, it feels like there's nothing on the screen at all. But if I wanted to put up with bubbles I would've spent 5-10 bucks on a cheapo plastic protector, instead of the 40ish dollars after shipping for this one. I will try to add pictures of the bubbles on the screen once I get home from work, as it is pretty hard to take a picture of your screen with your phone haha. Not really sure what to do at this point though, I've tried reapplying it a few times and no luck. Do I try a warranty claim with Phantom glass?

Hey Guys, tomorrow I am going to buy me the iPhone 6, because its kinda expensive (^^) I'd really like to get myself on of those PhantomGlass Covers, but my problem is that I just can't find a retailer that'll send it to austria, I mean I found NCIX but they are charging 34$ just for shipping, I mean it's not even that big or so I guess it could be send as a letter. Anyway my question is if there are any other Online Stores I can buy it from or maybe @LinusTech could send me one in a letter way cheaper then NCIX and get my money . Thanks ahead.

I've just got my new HTC M8 Harman/Kardon and I would a great screen protector for it. I saw linus' video on phantom galss and I love it. Only one problem I cannot find a HTc phantom glass on the US NCIX store or on the US Amazon store. However I did find it on the NCIX Canadian store. I was wondering if I can buy it on the canadian store and have it shipped to my PO box. If not is there anywhere else where I can purchase this screen protector.

hey guys i have a bit of a problem with my phantom glass. When applying, my thumb accidentally scraped off some of the glue, and now in the corner it does not stick there. Before it was just an annoyance, but now i hate it. When i put my hand in my pocket, my fingernail caught this slight lift, and stabbed me under the fingernail (especially sucks when washing hands for the rest of day). Do you guys know of any glue i could use that is effectively stock (well, not phantom fancy awesomeness, but its just a corner sooo, yahh, wont matter), so i cant see residue, and protector will not be stuck to phone for life. Thanks guys! Oh and by the way, that is my beloved oneplus one and no, sorry I don't have any invites. sorry weird suttf up in top left, says shine, just ignore it.

hey all, I did a google search of the forum and didn't see anything with this, but I appologize if this has been answered. Does Phantom Glass make a cover for the Turbo? I looked at Amazon.ca and saw a bunch of iPhone stuff. But I didn't see much in the way of Android. It occurs to me that since CA is not getting this phone Phantom might not make it, but they did post about it on their twiter. Anyway. I am getting one and want this protector. If Phantom does make the protector where can I get it? thanks UPDATE: I did find this, but I haven't used the company. Does anyone have a review? http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Verizon-XT1254-Tempered-Protector/dp/B00P8TSA6E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417204283&sr=8-1&keywords=gorilla+glass+screen+protector+droid+turbo
