Hi. I have recently got Panasonic KX-TU160 for my father: (unboxing video) while there is an option for changing the ringtone with "Select from file" (MP3 files work): there is no such option for changing the SMS/Message sound. There is only a fixed number (5) of tones to choose from: these tones are kind of long and disturbing, especially when my father does not care about messages. I would like to set it to something short or even silent, but I have not found a way of doing that. There is only one volume setting for both Calls and Messages, so I cannot set them separately. It has a USB-C connection and I can access the phone file system from a PC. I could not find the files that are Tones there. Does anyone know how I can hack it so I could set one of the Tones to empty one or add my own or something similar? Thanks!

Hi, this is my first post so bear with me. I recently got a new receiver the Denon AVRX2600H. It worked great. Turned on when i put the TV on and turned off when the TV was off. Now when i put the TV on the receiver goes on but when i want to raise the volume with my tv remote it raises the volume of the TV instead of the Denon like it always did. And when i turn the TV off it only turns the TV off instead of both the TV and receiver. So i believe the TV or receiver loses connection with each other..So when i'm done watching digital tv for example, i have to press 3 buttons to turn everthing off. 1 TV ,1 receiver and 1 for decoder for digital TV. I have reset the receiver completely and turned OFF all settings for ARC and then everything back ON. And just now i turned my TV off and 20 seconds later the receiver turned off on its own... mind boggling. And when i turn the TV on and receiver is already on it turns the receiver off.. i'm lost with options. Any idea? New HDMI cable? Sent receiver back for repairs? Thank in advance

panasonic Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 drivers.
cadenm1223 posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
So I recently got my hands on a Panasonic CF-29 toughbook. I reinstalled windows xp and now I am on a driver hunt. I really need help looking for drivers, I’ve been looking for days trying to find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The model number of my laptop is CF-29LQQGCBM (mark 4). -
Hi, got a odd little issue I suspect there’s no easy fix for but thought I’d try here before I give up all hope haha When watching 2:1 videos on the YouTube app on my Panasonic TV is does a weird squish to make it 16:9, but doesn’t fill the whole screen. So the height ends up being correct with black bars as expected, but it is squished horizontally too leaving the same size bars on the sides too this is annoying bc it’s the easiest way to watch videos in 4K but with the bars and squished image it looks weird like I said I assume there is no easy fix and the apps just not up to date but any help would be appreciated

Hi there, my panasonic lumix camera has recently started to give up on me, first it was that whenever I connected the camera to my laptop the laptop would only recognise the internal memory on the card rather than the sd card, now when I turned on the camera, it said the sd card was locked even though I havent touched the sd card for a month, I have checked for the lock slider and that was on the unlock place and when I inserted the sd card back in again, it still said: ''SD Card locked''. Any Ideas on how to get my camera to recognise the sd card?

Has anyone else seen Panasonic's new invisible tv, it uses self lighting pixels so its transparent like glass. When it's powered on it's an OLed im guessing 1080p display, given that theres no backlight i dont know why i was surprised. Pretty awesome and i can think of a lot of interactie design ideas for it, i also saw people using it like a touch screen bnot sure how. Has anyone seen this in person and im sure everyone would love a video on it, new tech is exciting

Hey everyone, Would absolutely love some help/insight here.... I'm looking to get a new camera for both photo and video (not sure which one i'll be shooting more of at the moment), and have been researching: Panasonic GH5: https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DC-GH5KBODY-Mirrorless-Camera-Bluetooth/dp/B01MZ3LQQ5 with this lens: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/panasonic-lumix-42-5mm-f-1-7-g-asph-optical-telephoto-lens-for-micro-four-thirds-black/4331867.p?skuId=4331867 Fujifilm X-T2: https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-X-T2-Mirrorless-Digital-Body/dp/B01I3LNMAM/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1491359469&sr=1-3&keywords=fujifilm+X-T2 with this lens: https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-16418649-Fujinon-XF56mmF1-2-R/dp/B00HK8Z9AG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1491359741&sr=1-1&keywords=fujinon+56mm+1.2 Clearly I'm allocating more money for a better lens on the fuji, considering the lesser price of its body. But I feel the more research I do, the more torn I become between the two. They both seem stellar, with the fujifilm being more focused on photos it seems, and the panasonic focused on videos. My main requirement for videos is 4k and good/fast autofocus while recording, and have heard people are disappointed with the GH5's autofocusing. 60fps at 4k isn't really a big deal for me, so which camera do you guys suggest I go with? Again, any insight would be phenomenal. Thanks!

I am a semi-professional photographer and videographer. At the moment I own a canon 70D that I use for photos and I rent a gh4 or sony a6300 when I get commercial video gigs. I think the GH5 will be the perfect crossover for doing fantastic video and photos. I'm extremely excited at the opportunity to do 4k 60fps that is what really makes me want to buy this. Is anyone else in the same boat as me on this?

Hey guys! Since I do no have that many batteries and want to wear them out as little as possible, I'm wondering how I could power my Panasonic Lumix DC FZ-82. I am pretty confident that there is a way since there is a flap next to the pins the batterie plugs into. I just cannot find any sort of power brick and/or cable. Does anyone know things like these? Or rather how they're named and where to buy them?

So, let's say that you've saved up enough money to buy a GH5. You've spent the last 3 years getting a grip on your videography skills and you're looking to step up from your absolutely ancient Canon 60D (because let's face it, that dinosaur will make it extremely difficult for you to get work!) . But, holy cow! The Metabones speed booster to use your EF glass costs close to 1/3rd of your camera! But what if you were to sell your EF glass and buy a M43 to FD speed booster and stock up on FD lenses all for about $400-500? Do you think that would be money better spent versus paying $650 for a Metabones M43 to EF speed booster? You could also put some of the money towards the roughly $500 worth of lenses you have plus $300 you get for your 60D towards a decent stabilizer like the motorized gimbal: the Zhiyun Crane. What are your thoughts? Share! Discuss! Let's chat!

Hey guys, I got an irritating problem. Whenever I'm trying to go from TV to an application, like Netflix or YouTube, my surround system goes from D-IN to AUX. My TV: Sony Bravia KD55-XE9005 My surround sound system: panasonic SA-PT460 They're connected via optical cable from out of the TV to the surround system. I hope you guys can help me

Dear community! I recently bought a GH5 and now I decided to upgrade my gear with a speebooster and some Canon-Lenses using the Metabones speedbooster. Since the speedbooster is pretty expensive, I decided to look around for a used one and I stumbled across a almost new speedbooster Ultra that fits my needs and that is priced fairly nice. I know the following: Speedbooster XL should be used with Fullframe-lenses and Speedbooster Ultra should be used with APS-C lenses. The problem now is that I will mostly use fullframe lenses and the question is whether I can use the Ultra with those Fullframe lenses without any issues. Issues occur when using it the other way around (APS-C lenses with the XL Speedbooster). Please help me out! Kind regards Thomas

looking for a point and shootish I can carry around while coaching. While getting a new (better) dlsr would be nice, as I only have an entry one, the portability/size and performance seems to be the perfect compromise. Here is the predicament, I read the lx200 may be coming out this month. But prices of LX100 are already pretty low. thoughts?

Hi all, I have an issue which I've been struggling with for a while and have not been able to get to grips with. So I finally decided to swallow my pride and ask all you lovely people for help/advice. I have been using my Panasonic 5.1 SC-HT845 home theatre system (with a sub-woofer) for ages and it's been great. Unfortunately, about 6 months ago, the DVD player (which is also the hub for the whole system - i.e. all the speakers connect to it)...died. So I'm not too distraught about losing the ability to play DVD's but I am sorry to have lost my surround sound system. All the speakers are great and well positioned in the room. Plus they are all installed and hooked up to the wall, etc. So...I have been trying to find a way of replacing the DVD player with some piece of equipment (doesn't have to play DVD's - in fact I'd rather it didn't) which I can hook my surround sound system up to and then plug into my TV so I can get my coveted surround sound back when I watch TV in my living room. Here's a link to the system specs; http://www.backoffice.be/prod_uk/Panasonic/sc-ht845_panasonic_sc-ht845_home_theatre_system_5.1_chan.asp Back of the DVD player; https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj6gKzpqPLWAhUHRhQKHZ6oCowQjhwIBQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nix.ru%2Fautocatalog%2Ftv%2FPanasonic-SC-HT845-Silver-DVD-Home-Theater-Sound-System_41926.html&psig=AOvVaw1d4d4iHb_Hltf9LD8mWaax&ust=1508146250386201 Links to equipment are great but please keep in mind that I live in Malta (E.U.) so it must be available in the European (or better yet, the UK) market and shipping is a plus. Thanks all!

Hey guys. I gonna fly to vietnam in 20 days for 5 weeks to film and photograph for my diploma thesis. I will take my 5D3 and GH5 with me. I want good video results, so I am looking at the Ninja Infero right now. 1200€ only for the device + another 700 bucks for accesories are quite much for a student, so I ask you if the difference in videoquality is great or only minor. I am not really experienced in videography and color grading/correction, so I would need some time to get into it. Would it be important to have Prores 422 10bit footage for color grading when using the cinelike D picture style? Or would 422 8Bit would be enough? I don´t really see much difference in all the 10vs 8bit tests out there.

So, I purchased a used Panasonic SA-HT700 from our thrift store. Everything appears to be in good condition. The bass and the speakers all work when I am playing DVDs. However, when I try to play music from another device through the stereo audio inputs, only the bass and the front speakers work, which makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, I am not looking for perfect sense. I am looking for a possible workaround to get the entire 5.1 setup to work when playing through the AV Inputs. Is there any possible solution? I hope my situation and question makes sense.

I'm all for this, if we can get close to OLED quality displays for a small premium over regular IPS displays. http://www.kitguru.net/peripherals/monitors/matthew-wilson/panasonic-aims-to-knock-down-oled-with-evolved-ips-tech/ http://www.anandtech.com/show/10874/panasonic-develops-ips-panel-with-10000001-contrast-ratio-1000-nits-brightness

Hi all! I have a question for all the people that are much smarter than me - if you have any knowledge that would be much appreciated! I have just ordered a new camera, and would like to start some amateur videography. I have a RODE NT-USB Microphone (which is significantly better than the built-in mic) which I would like to hook up with the new camera, however the camera has an audio-in 3.5mm jack, and my microphone I want to use has a USB plug. Can I buy a cheap & easy "USB to 3.5 Audio Jack" adaptor thingy and that'll work? Or will I need another microphone? Thanks in advance for any advice! - Lucas. P.S Sorry in advance if this subject is in the wrong area on the forum, this is a first time using this site haha!

Hi guys. I hate to make this my first post here, but I could really use some help. I have a Panasonic TC-49FX500 smart tv. It's a good TV, and although the software sucks big time, it does the job, you know? It was cheap enough. Last Saturday, I turn on my TV and open the YouTube app and see this error message: Nothing more. On a white screen. Contacting Panasonic did not help. They want me to have the TV in to service it. All other apps that require internet work just fine. Set TV to factory defaults and nothing I did a bit of research and found that it's most likely the firmware, however it's on the latest version and even if I wanted to download it, put it in a USB drive and reinstall it, Panasonic does not provide it for download. I'd really appreciate if anyone here can shed some light on this. Thanks, guys.

Hi the tv goes in standby when i play ps4 after a couple of minutes. Panasonic viera tx 55e2 950 e (just disconnected ethernet) Logitech Harmony Elite (wifi works) Bose soundtouch 300 wireless sound bar system Bose acoustimass 300 bass module Bose virtually invisible 300 (not connected to wifi or ethernet) Ps4 standard 500gb (ethernet) Tv and sound bar is just a couple months old. The problem was first when we all installed it. After some chances and hanging the tv on the wall cable management we back connected the Bose and ethernet to tv. I first tought it was the TV that's not the case now any more. When we did not everything connected it worked perfect just help someone.

I got a Leica/Panasonic 14-50mm F/2.8-3.5 recently from a second hand shop thinking it would fit my Panasonic G7... Unfortunately I didn't realise that Four Thirds was a mount that existed. I was wondering if anyone knows a good 3rd party adaptor? I tried one from Fotga and the contacts got scratched to heck on the adaptor and also scratched the lenses contacts, I'm a bit worried they're broken..
