charger Volta Style Cable Compatibility with Razer Naga Pro
cichington posted a topic in Peripherals
Hey all, I recently bit the bullet and went full wireless for my mouse and keyboard (Highly Recommend). I picked up a Razer Naga Pro, and a Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro during Cyber Monday. Unfortunately, the Naga Pro use Micro USB, and the Blackwidow uses USB C for charging. To keep the clean aesthetic, I wanted to only have one cable visible to charge both of them if needed. I was wanting to go with Volta Style Cable and just keep the small magnetic plugs in the peripherals however the Naga Pro has very little clearance where the cable plugs into the mouse. Has anyone used one of these and if so does it fit? Another option would be to get a Micro USB to USB C adapter, but that would not be ideal as those adapters tend to be a little chunky for my liking. Any advice or input on the matter would be great! Here's a picture of the charging port on the Naga Pro for reference: -
I purchased a Razer Naga Pro Wireless during black Friday in November 2021, and have had nothing but problems with it. I was met with an unfortunate stuttering issue that many others have faced due to 2.4 Ghz interference with the dongle. I have tried to use the mouse in bluetooth but the poor polling rate is not up to my standards, and have have tried all possible fixes for it. I am still within the return window (one upside to Amazon) and am looking into other options. I would prefer to have one with 5-6 side mouse buttons but it seems Razer is really the only mouse brand that has these sorts of wireless mice. After some research, I think i've decided to go with the Corsair M65 Ultra Wireless even though it only has 3 side mouse buttons. What are your thoughts on this choice and are there any other mice you'd recommend as an alternative? Any information or insight would be great!

My local tech store is offering a Razer Naga Epic Chroma for $160 NZD ($113 US) as opposed to the usual $200 NZD ($141 US) . I have used a friend's normal Naga, and really like the shape, but I also really want a wireless mouse. Is it worth paying this? I don't play any MMOs, so will likely only use 3-5 thumb buttons, but is it worth getting for other genres? I would really appreciate an urgent response, as the sale is not available for more than a few hours. Thanks

Hey there! So about 1 month ago I purchased a new Razer Naga Epic Chroma, upgrading from its predecessor the razer naga 2014. I had never had issues until the last couple months with the naga, the cursor would freeze up and just spazz all over the screen occasionally. After that I decided it was time to change, so I got the Razer Naga Epic Chroma, which was doing fine for a bit less than a month. The problem was the same problem I had with the previous naga, just spazzed all over the screen and froze randomly, pretty frequently. I decided it was time to get it replaced after I tried everything in my power and knowledge to fix it. For the first week of the replacement coming in it was doing perfectly fine, but whenever I plug it in with the wire it just stars to spazz out all over the screen, and occasional freeze. When it is wireless there is rare freezing but I bought this mouse to be able to use it wired/wireless, and this is preventing me from doing so. This problem also occurs in the bios, I do not have another pc to test it but I'm going over to a friends soon and could test it there. I really hope I do not need to get it replaced / refunded as I am very fond of this mouse, could there be a comparability issue with my system setup? MOBO: Gigabyte Z87 (not sure exact model) CPU: i7 4770k @4.5GHZ GPU: 760 PSU: Cooler Master 600W Thank you for your time, Ryan.

Hi there, I have been experiencing some problems with my Razer Naga Chroma. Everytime I lift my mouse the, the cursor seems to be jumping around the place. I have been looking for a solution for ages now but I haven't found anything. Tried using the calibration thing for the mouse mats but that didn't fix the problem. It's also very incosistent, sometimes it's acting all weird and janky, sometimes it's doing fine. Have you guys had the same problem / do you know how to fix this problem? With kind regards, Ucthar

Recently replaced my Naga 2014 with a Naga chroma Popped into an FPS and noticed when I lift my mouse, the cursor goes about 3 inches down and to the right and the opposite when the mouse is put back down. Never had this issue with the old mouse. I have disabled calibration and reset the mouse and this seems to have alleviated 90% of the issue but Im wondering if I should just ask for a replacement.

The original Razer naga hex mouse was called that because it had 6 buttons as that is what the prefix hexa- or hex- means. but something that has been bothering me for quite some time is the naga 'hex' v2 in which has 7 buttons This makes no sense as there is nothing related to 6 in the Naga "HEX" v2 so please if anyone knows the reasoning for this and if they know about something else like this please talk about it freely

I've been using my Naga for a while but I haven't really had any issues until now. I have it on a fairly low 555 DPI and whenever I would lift the mouse, it would start changing directions. This becomes a huge problem with gaming especially for FPS games (sometimes it would do a whole 180 turn on me). This is after I've calibrated it to my mouse mat and it would start at a lift off range of 3. I lowered it to 1 but it would still do the same thing. I've also tried just getting rid of the calibration altogether but then my mouse just stop turning altogether whenever I lift the mouse. If anyone has had any similar issues or knows how to solve it, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I have been using my razer epic naga chroma edition mouse for about a year now. It has never had any issues up until yesterday when it decided that it would not work when it was in wired mode (which is what i prefer to have it in). It will come up with a Windows notification that says "USB device not recongnized - The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." every time that i try to plug it in. I have update the razer synapse to the latest version. I have gone to device manager where it shows the USB as an unknown one, not allowing me to update its drivers. I have attached a picture of my PC specs.

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan opened a Facebook group to get another Left-Handed Edition of the Razer Naga going. Razer also made a video about it: Official Razer Left-Handed Naga YouTube Video PC Gamer covered this story as well: PC Gamer Are you in need of a left-handed mouse, for gaming or any sort of productivity? Razer will have you covered, a 12 side button mouse made for us left-handed people. Sadly this will be the last attempt for Razer to deliver on a left-handed mouse, unless the demand gets way up. So please join the Left Handed Naga Group and declare your interest. Also tell your friends, or anyone really, the word needs to get around. There are 800 million left-handed people on this planet, more then enough to turn a profit, a lot of profit, but most left-handed people don't know that this product exists, so please help us spread the word. Just purchased the Razer Naga Trinity. It's weight with the MMO attachment adds quite alot of weight to the mouse. I used the Naga chroma and Naga 2014 before and loved them. The only issue I have with Razer is that their products do not last that long and i'm ok with that for mice. Is there a place to purchase the naga Chroma/2014 edition that doesnt cost 2X the price in Canada? Note that im not a fan of the Logitec one since it has an extra button for ring finger and the corsair one weighs even more. inb4 the Razer hate. and I agree 99% of their products either dont last or are very overpriced.

Summary LH Naga is finally back with all new interior. TRUE LEFT-HANDED ERGONOMIC DESIGN 19+1 PROGRAMMABLE BUTTONS RAZER FOCUS+ OPTICAL SENSOR FULL RGB, 3 ZONES ON-BOARD MEMORY RAZER™ SPEEDFLEX CABLE 100% PTFE MOUSE FEET RAZER™ MECHANICAL SWITCHES Quotes My thoughts I love that Razer is giving this another try, no other company will produce dedicated LH gaming mice. Ambidextrous is an option, but just not the same. Even more important then offering a gaming mouse to normal lefties is accessibility for those who have no right hand etc. I personally hope this gets traction so Razer will keep supporting LH Products. Background: Recently, my 3 years old Razer Naga Epic Chroma suffered the infamous "bloating-battery of Razer" syndrome and I had no choice but to remove the battery as its literally pushing the mouse's shell apart. I had thought that since the mouse can be used with the USB connected, I should be fine without the battery but surprisingly, thats not the case and its not due to the mouse being faulty but rather that Razer's firmware intentionally disables the mouse when no battery is connected. It'd be one thing if the battery is essential to the operation of the mouse but it certainly isn't (its essential for wireless operation but not the mouse). Razer also doesn't sell replacement batteries for the Naga Epic Chroma either. How do I know that the mouse is still working?: The mouse when connected without a battery would function for around 10 seconds before starting to "blink" and cease working, after which around 20 secs later, the mouse would stop blinking and functionality would resume for 10 secs before the whole cycle repeats. So my question is: Is it legal for Razer to deliberately disable a mouse when a non-essential component has failed? I understand the concept of planned obsolescence but in this case its an intentional act to prevent the usage of an otherwise functional mouse when a non-essential component fails which they also does not sell any replacement parts for. In short, they're bricking a mouse just to force the customers to purchase a new one. I'm no legal expert but even as a layman, I find this highly unethical and probably even illegal Are there any legal experts of those with knowledge to share if such methods of doing business is legal and is this the norm?

Hello LLT Community, Min-Liang Tan posted on Facebook that Razer would consider making a Left-Handed Naga Trinity, which would be amazing as the market for Left-Handed mice is extremely limited. Sadly this is not a done-deal just yet, Min-Liang Tan is looking for demand, and would like to see 10K likes on his Facebook post. However, 10K likes alone won't make the LH Razer Naga Trinity a reality. After 10K likes are reached, Razer will start a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign for the LH Razer Naga Trinity, and only if the goal of 10K orders will be met the LH dream would become a reality. Hi everyone, My Razer Naga Chroma (2016)'s left click just stopped working. After generic attempts such as PC restart, plugging/unplugging, and driver updates, I resorted to the internet. After some short digging, I found that there must be debris stuck between the actuator and the button itself. I tried using canned air on the mouse button, however the outside compartment is practically sealed, so this didn't help. Eventually, I realised I must open the mouse. Unfortunately, to do so, you must peel off the Teflon-y mouse feet. I managed to do so, take off the screws, and clean out the mouse, and it works, however in peeling off the mouse feet, I scrunched them up and also left glue on the pad sockets. I now need to get new mouse feet, since the mouse drags horribly on my mousepad. Does anyone know of any shop in the UK (online or otherwise) that might sell these mouse feet? I haven't found any on either the Razer website or Amazon.

OK, my tale begins one month ago. I decide to do a clean install of win 10. so I reset my pc to wipe everything. I had just gotten in my Razer Orbweaver and was excited to set it up. I wanted a clean machine and I needed to bang out the cobwebs it had been like 3 years since I last reset anyway. I just wanted to get rid of useless stuff. So I did this now note before I had RAZER devices installed. BLACKWIDOW OVERWATCH EDITION/RAZER NAGA TRINITY. Both worked great had no issues with synapse in the least. So I install everything that is suppose to get on the pc. I used LIVE UPDATE 6 as its faster for all the drivers and stuff. I flash the BIOS myself using a USB device. Now whenever I boot up my pc the issue is that either there will be not light display or i will get a light display but they will nto be in sync with one another. I open RAZER SYNAPSE GO TO chroma tab and try to select a lighting option and I get no response or change. The only way I can get it to work is by basically going to uninstall the program and then clicking REPAIR. If I do that then it will work for the duration of the time I am on the pc that session. However if I reset the pc or shut it down. It reverts back. No word from razer its been two weeks and they escalated the problem to their tier 2 department. You should see the back and forth I have had with these guys and the stupid pile of case numbers I have. Not to mention now that its on email basis its a long turnaround. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Thanks for contacting Razer Software Support. I'm Robel from the Tier 2 department. I've checked with the case information and I can see here this is regarding your lighting issue with your devices, even after performing the troubleshooting steps provided. We'll need the intervention of our Development Team at this point. This case will be endorsed to them, along with the logs you have provided. Please give them time to further review the logs. I'd like to thank you for extending your time and patience during this process. All the best, Robel Razer Tier II Software Support ref:_00D301H0hE._5000c1a7WmQ:ref" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So all of the diagnostic stuff is in a text document under uploaded files. I can past a Killer Diagnostic report and the MSI diagnostic report if I need to. All pertinent information can be found in the DXDIAG document below. Here is a link to my motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B150-GAMING-M3#down-driver&Win10 64. I have done a ton of troubleshooting everything from going into device manager and uninstalling each and every RAZER device listed both hidden and visible. and leaving the devices disconnected for a time before reconnecting them. Uninstalling the software completely including the RAZER SDK which I had to do in safe mode and reinstalling it after I connected my devices back to the pc. I'm at a loss I have been dealing with this so long now. I wouldn't even have any RAZER devices had my wife not gotten the keyboard and mouse for me as a Christmas Gift this past December. But my Corsair was failing me and my Logi mouse had seen better days. Since I do MMO and shooters I like the versatility of the trinity mouse. Being able to swap out plates is really nice. Please gods of the internet shed some light of what I can do to fix this issue. Also once we figure out this synapse 3.0 issue well concentrate on the issue of 2.0. Some of the same issues but cant change the colors under chroma configurator so I just uninstalled 2.0 and set the Obrweaver aside for now. DxDiag.txt

Hi so I have been looking into getting a new mouse for my setup and was looking at the Razer NAGA Trinity because I play alot of different games from MMOs to FPS and MOBAs so i figure a mouse that can do all three would be a great pickup for my gaming style as it were. The only issue is that mouse is on the more expensive side currently and I was looking into getting the regular Naga then i would have those extra keys for my MMOs and MOBAs and it could still function as an fps mouse when i do play thouse sort of games. My main question is does anyone have an MMO mouse and has used it to play like overwatch for example is it annoying do the keys click when not trying to ? Any imput would be very welcome thank you.
-
i use apps like premiere, photoshop, fl studio. i also play overwatch and a few other games. im looking for comfort, reliability, build quality. i could give two shits about rgb. i want a good scroller. im definitely open to other mice in that pricerange. this tipgrip portable laptop mouse aint cutting it

Is the Razer Naga Hex V2 worth buying for a MOBA-centric mouse? I will be using it mainly for DOTA 2. I have tried the Logitech G303 but I didn't like the shape. I haven't yet tried the Naga Hex though.

Hi all! I would like to go ahead and appreciate all who may contribute to this thread/topic! Thanks a mil! Here is the story. I wanted a wireless MMO gaming mouse (double emphasis on the wireless part, for I detest cords) and decided on the Razer Naga Epic Chroma (so as to try and match the colors with my keyboard). I secured my mouth firmly so as to make sure it didn't hit the floor when I went looking at pricing. Naturally, I reverted to the used market and ended up buying a working, functional Naga Epic Chroma as a stand alone mouse. It didn't come with the charging station (which also functions as the mouse's receiver). I will refer to this mouse as Mouse #1. I then bought a "customer returned" package with a defective mouse, cord, and charging station/receiver, which I will call Mouse #2. I thought that I could just use Mouse #2's receiver with Mouse #1. The price of both of these orders was 25 dollars less than the cheapest used naga epic chroma with the charging base/receiver (which is why I went that route). It wasn't until I got the mice that I realized that Mouse #1 would not pair with Mouse #2's wireless receiver. I emailed Razer support and they stated that mouse and receiver are a "one to one" ratio and that I could not swap receivers. However, I just have a hard time trusting tech support on an issue that involves me having to buy a whole new product for such a small piece of the puzzle. Having almost always dealt with Logitech wireless peripherals (which have unifying receivers), I didn't ever even fathom that this could be an issue. Granted, Mouse #1 can and does worked in corded mode, but I would have just bought a cheaper, corded mouse if I wanted a corded one. With backstory done, how do I get a functioning, wireless Naga Epic Chroma out of one working, wireless mouse out of a working mouse, a defective mouse, a wireless receiver, and a cord? Possible Solutions: 1) Get Mouse #2's receiver to forget its original mouse, pick up Mouse #1's signal, and start using it. - Don't know how to do that. 2) Change out parts from Mouse #2 into Mouse #1 in order to connect up with the receiver? - Also don't know how to do that. Anyone have any tips or experience with the situation? Thanks.

I'm using a Razer Naga 2014 for CSGO and i can't get rid of the mouse acceleration. "Enhanced pointer precision" is OFF in windows. Acceleration in "Set up Mouse Keys" for windows is OFF. Acceleration is OFF in Razer Synapse 2.0 . (and is up to date) MarkC Windows 10 mouse acceleration Fix has been applied with no change. 400dpi 500hz. (I've tried 1000hz & 125hz no difference) CSGO Mouse setings: sensitivity 2.4 m_rawinput 1 (with rawinput 0 there's ridiculous acceleration a couple millimeters will be several spins) m_customaccel 0 m_customaccel_exponent 0 m_mousespeed 0 m_mouseaccel1 0 m_mouseaccel2 0

There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to "MMO" mice but a lot of reviews online (i feel) are people just fan-boying over a certain company (*cough* Razer *cough*). While i really dont particularly care what company makes a product i do care about quality. Also i think there is a lot of missed potential in MMO mice, especially for those of us who are content creators. So i thought id make this thread, so that maybe some of you how own any MMO mice could give us pros and cons, opinions, or maybe just vote on which you would go with if you had a choice. I have been looking for a nice MMO mouse as of late and i think having a thread like this would help many others looking to purchase one in the near future.
