From the album: My random stuff
Because my current build is black and green theme, I thought id follow the theme to my desktop too and Monster energy was the first thing that came to mind. -
So I plan on getting this PSU, https://www.newegg.com/p/1HU-00J7-00878?Item=9SIAR88D0P4749. Apparently you can only get it in Asia Should I trust the Seller?? Don't say it's overkill, I plan on overclocking everything!!!

Hello Everyone who may see this, I am calling upon all of those who are willing to throw input into the most powerful machine I have ever built. My previous machine was built 3 years ago and includes a 550TI as well as other parts that are obviously not being used in this new build. The only thing staying from my old build is my NZXT Phantom case and even that may not be used if I choose to have some sort of color scheme to my new gaming machine. Base line of the story is I received an unexpected bonus from my manager and now have $2000 to spend on my new gaming machine. I had a base line build earlier this year for around $1000 but will now have enough cash to fully deck out my new machine. All ideas and suggestions are welcome and I will be open to everything. My old build had a green aesthetic to it but now i'm thinking more along the lines of orange (if possible). TLDR: I have a budget of $2000 USD. I am located in USA. This machine will be a gaming monster with your help (orange color scheme if possible)! (Crysis 4 style gaming... oh yea) Most likely two monitors end goal. I have peripherals. Currently running a 550TI and its time to turn my old machine into a backup drive. Thank you guys! Maljurious

After the lightning and the Duke, Msi showed at the Tokio game show a gpu that dwarfs the lighting in size. The msi lighting comes with 2 100mm fans and 1 90mm fans, but this looks like it has 2 120mm fans and 1 100mm fan, as the lightning is already a 140mmx320mm card, I do suppose that this card span in the 160x360-380mm dimensions. JUST LOOK AT IT, its a monstruosity, and it was what i was asking for, i'm interested in the temperature it reaches under full load, considering that the lightning is already in the 65° range https://videocardz.com/72764/msi-announces-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-gaming-x-trio

Hi! so I am planing out a future build and just wanted to know what you think about it. it is for computer animation and modelling as well as heavy gaming so it had to be a all round beast of a computer. price is no issue with this computer so if there is a part you think would work better then feel free to let me know! here is the part picker list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/TArthur99/saved/F9b23C EDIT: new parts list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/9srwD8 decided against the Titan X, I don't think the price is worth the marginally better performance. I could get two 1080s for the price of one pascal Titan X

My build worked PERFECT, but 8 months in and have been experiencing severe FPS drops and HUGE stutter in both league of legends and PUBG. The stutter gets worse everyday, even in the PUBG menu I get stutter. In league of legends shop, just buying an item my computer freezes a bit and stutters A LOT. +CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7- 7700k @ 4.20GHz+Motherboard: Asus - MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151+Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory+GPU: Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX+Cooler: NZXT - Kraken X62+Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive(windows) // Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (everything else)+PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply+Fans: NZXT - Aer RGB120 Fansx3 // NZXT - Aer RGB140 Fansx3+Case: Phanteks - Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass (Black) ATX Full Tower+Monitor: Asus ROG PG278QR 27" 1ms, 165Hz WQHD 2560x1440 G-SyncI should not be having any issues at all with a computer like this. I keep my BIOS and all drivers (especially GPU) updated at all times. I keep my computer clean because I am nit picky like that. There is never a program running that I am not aware of or suspicious of. My temperatures are decent. During gaming (such as league or pubg) I get around 48-60 range for GPU AND CPU. Idle I get 32 for both GPU and CPU. Something I did notice while writing this post, my CPU load idles at 62% and increases to 72% between this range(clock speed at 4520MHz with a temp of 50). WHILE i type this and nothing is really running in the background except chrome and my CAM software and other software to monitor temps and memory. Is my cpu throttling already??

So we just bought a 4K TV yesterday, and hooked it up and everything. Today, my parents came home with 2 HDMI Cables: 1 8ft rocketfish ($30) and 1 5ft Monster ($90). I am fine with the rocketfish, since it doesn't have any stupid claims written all over the box, but the Monster cable is a pure rip-off with "27.0Gbps connections", "Premium platinum", "Clearer audio" etc. I already explained to them it's a rip-off but now they want to know what other cable to use, and all I can think of is another rocketfish cable. Should I worry about anything or is this a better choice?

Week 22 is upon us. Its now time to decide which anime the club should watch and discuss this week. The poll will be active for 48hrs-ish. Chaika - The Coffin Princess Current This was suggested by @Vitalius saying "Usual demon king stuff, but the action is pretty good and it's well animated. I enjoyed it for that reason. Plus the main character is kawaii~ :3. Kawaii + nice action animation = all my yes."

So I have a minor obsession (some might call it an addiction) to Monster Energy drinks. As I am currently in the market for a new PC, I thought what would be better then a Monster Energy themed build?! Well the answer is simple, NOTHING! So I can handle picking the parts, building the PC, converting a drawing into a cut path (this will take a drawing and turn it into a case), and even cutting out the table (I have unlimited access to high end AXYZ CNC machines [im the son of the owner of AXYZ ]). My only down fall is the fact that I am far from an artist... my artistic ability is zero. What I am wondering is anyone interested in an artistic project? What I am looking for is a few drawings of the the exterior of a case (the 4 side, I can figure out the interior). I think it would be cool to have some layering of material to create a 3D textured surface. I would probably want to stick to a black and green color scheme for the case (maybe an accent color somewhere somehow, your the artistic im sure you guys will figure something out thats cool!). I would like to have monster logo included at least once (maybe in several different places, totally up to you). A bit more information about the plan Im thinking an ATX size mother board for it if you want to know that but basically I want to keep it a pretty standard case size. As for any major holes (Power supply mounts motherboard stuff all the wholes in the back and such) I can work out for myself. Mainly im just looking for some drawings (on paper or drawn on the computer whatever works for you) that show a basic look all the sides of the case with a window in the side of the case. Well if anyone is interested on taking on a project like this let me know and if you need any further detail let me know and we can see what we can do together! This is the logo but you can find more pictures by doing a quick google search for Monster Energy. Thanks, Michael

So I chose some parts and I start creating, but I'm not sure what will happen at the end!? This THING will be used for games and movies and other games (only if it works in the way that I think it will work). So what do you think will happen with my monster, can it walk and think or it will be a vegetable? My parts (which I already ordered) are: 1.Processor: Intel Xeon X5690, 6 core, 3.46GHz 2.Motherboard: Dell Precision T7500 Workstation Motherboard System-board 6FW8P LGA1366 3.Ram: Dell 16GB 2X 8GB DDR3 PC3L-10600R 1333MHz 240-Pin ECC REG RAM SNP2WYX3C/8G I have water cooling for the processor from old PC, I bought Water Cooled Block for it. I'm planning to finish this THING with Nvidia GTX 980 P.S: Sorry for my bad english, it's not my best language.

Whats up ladies and gents? As you can tell from the name I am an Architect and from the topic title I am also a gamer. I am looking to build a Mix Breed PC which can handle both 3D Rendering in Revit and 3DSMax then be able to switch over to games like BF4, Diablo 3, Crisis 3, WoW, EVE, Rome Total War 2, etc etc in Ultra quality settings. Currently there is no budget so for those of you that can build me a monster PC with no limit go for it, I would love to see the ideas. Although the build should be anywhere between 2000-4000 $ range. Obviously the cheaper the better, but I will look over each one and take suggestions between $ and quality. My main concern is the GPU. I want the 780ti because i know it can preform in the gaming arena, but then will it have a problem when I turn it over to 3D Rendering? Will the performance be a dramatic change? I read another post on here of 780ti vs Titan and people say Titan over the 780ti, why? Can anyone give me a detailed explanation? What about the Quatros? Are they worth getting if I am looking for a Hybrid build? I am familiar with some parts, but on paper I am completely new at building a PC. This is one PC I put together on PCPartPicker. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2NOSN i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad Processor Corsair H110 CPU Cooler MSI Z87 MPOWER Max MB Kingston HyperX 16GBx4 Samsung 840 SSD Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB EVGA 780ti (or titan depending on your guys' feedback also possibly dual 780ti SLI) NZXT Phantom 820 grey Corsair 760W 80+ Plat (although i was thinking of a 1200W just to be safe) Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-ray Currently my PC is an Alienware Aurora. I have dual GPUs Nvidia 460 GTX. Low quality for what I am asking and looking for. I need high quality renderings to be done in 70-80% less time then it takes me now. This is my build from the top of my head: (I will write down all parts when i get a chance and fix it up on this list, most manufacturers or model types I do not know off the top of my head.) i7 3.4GHz Quad Core (don't remember the generation but i think its a 2770 or so) 16GB of RAM 860W Power Supply 1TB Western Digital Black HD NVidia Geforce 460 GTX x2 Hopefully I have read through the forum and haven't posted on a the wrong area, but because this does involve many questions about the GPU I decided to post here. Any suggestions?

Hello Forum! I have begun to plan my build with some Google sketch-up's to scale, These designs will be public for anyone to use! after all free internet right!? I will be moving my current system into the new wooden case once finished, and will be installing a custom water cooling system. Currently the rough (Don't expect all of the info yet, not even got the side panel off ) system specs are: Motherboard: Sabertooth z77 CPU: Intel i5 3570k @ 4.0ghz GPU: Powercolor (Yeah i know) HD7970 Radeon. (This is a discontinued card, and not for any good reasons I bet.) RAM: 8GB of Kingstone HyperX PSU: Corsair HX750 Case: Corsair 200R (Main reason for moving to new case) CPU Cooler : Corsair H60 (It was free can you blame me?) I am hoping to be able to increase the over clock on the CPU and add a backplate and water cooling block to the GPU as the car is warping under the weight of the cooler! This build will be done on a low budget and I'm trying to prove that you do not need to spend hundreds of £ or $ (Depending on you location ) to have a modded/custom system that starts the conversation with your mates. I am 16 years old and living in the TRNC, A non-recognised country in the Mediterranean We cannot receive deliveries here so parts ect will have to transported from the united kingdom to here on commercial flights. Wish me luck, as im going to need it! Ben.

Budget (including currency): 100000$ Country: USA, San Francisco Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: umm... Everything lol Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc) : Well the CPU must be an AMD Threadriooer 3990X and the case mudt be Corsair Obsidian 1000D. Basically I am looking to make the most powerfull PC so I will need to find the best 2080 TI GPU and some powerfull liquid cooling. Also I am planning to add a capture card and a netqork card to boost it. The OS would be on an Intel Optane so help me pick the other parts please. (By the way in-case we can we should do a 3 or 4 way SLI. Incase it is not possible or not worth it then tell me.) The case of use is... Breaking records...
