I want to upgrade the RAM in my aero 15 classic laptop. During gaming I'm peaking out my system and the only thing I can upgrade is my ram and ssd storage. The system uses a 7700hq, 16gb ram, and a gtx1060. According to some sources the max ram capacity is 32gb and others say 64gb. Any idea which is correct and why?

Hello. I have pretty big problem. Iam currently trying to do something smilliar to @LinusTech many users on 1 cpu. Iam using xubuntu, and i'v created 7 users, did sudo xhost + to allow aplications to show on my screen, 7 steams successfully logged in, everything went smooth. 5 games started, but after trying to run 6th, crash. No errors or anyhing, it just enables and crashes. Tried on many setups. Same thing happends. Ideas?

Hello everyone, I'm going to buy a new video card as my old video card is R9 390 8GB and my friend recommend me to buy (GTX 1070 or 1070ti), others recommend me to buy RTX 2070 Now I'm really lost as I don't know if my pc can take the new RTX 2070 as it is the same price in my country? Is there a windows or bios setting that's the equivalent to the power management options in the Nvidia control panel? By that I mean: I want to set it so even under a small load the CPU will still run at it's max frequency, but will still clock down at idle. I do this to my graphics card by setting the power management option in the Nvidia control panel under manage 3D settings to "prefer maximum performance". It'll run at it's max frequency even if you only have a browser window open, but will still clock down when at idle. Best of both worlds. What setting does this for the CPU?

Hi folks, While I await the other parts of my build (to be honest, wait for the work that means that I can afford them), I am busying myself with smaller jobs. One of those is deciding where fans should be placed in the case. I have a Thermaltake Core V21 MATX case and three 120mm fans as well as the large one that comes in the front of the case. I will be mounting the MoBo horizontally and will have the windowed panel on the side, as the case comes from the manufacturer. So I was wondering what people thought of my idea for a fan set up and if anyone had advice. My idea is to have an - exhaust fan at the back as standard, the Noctua you might be able to make out in the attached picture, an intake one the right-hand side which will blow onto the 212 CPU cooler with it's stock fan (represented by the yellow box), and another exhaust at the top on the left (above where the GPU will sit). Hi Guys, Wanted to ask if anyone knows how long until the WD Blue HDD fails. I have the WD Blue 1TB that I use for recording AVI video files then re-encoding it to MP4 and some other stuff. Wanted to know if how much 'write' it can take before it completely fails. Bought it Last Year and It'll be 1 year old by next month. Thanks

I recently bought Intel 5960x Processor and Asus x99E-WS motherboard which can support upto 128gb ram but intel website says that the processor can only support upto 64gb ram. I am really confused here can anyone please explain?

Recently I have had to refresh my windows 8 (64 bit) system which has somehow caused my Intel HD graphics 4600 to malfunction. I use to get higher frames (counter strike ~300 fps) now I am only getting about 75 fps, I have another GPU which is the AMD Radeon R7 200 series which is working properly. In MSI afterburner the page for the AMD card is fine but the card for Intel card is all at 0 and I cant control core voltage, power limit etc. (I don't want to overclock just showing its not working). I have (I think) the latest drivers, I have tried deleting and reinstalling them but still nothing plz help, If you need more information plz reply and will return information ASAP. I am going to be building a mini-itx gaming/video editing rig and want to replace the stock fans in the Bitfenix Prodigy with either the Noctua NF-S12A's or the NF-P12's. I would like to get quiet operation without sacrificing performance. I believe that Noctua fans can do just that but I don't know which fans I should go with. By the way, yes I know one of them is a static pressure fan, but on the Noctua website it says both are good for case fans. ---> http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=which_fan_is_right_for_me&lng=en (Also, I believe that some of the Noctua fans come with splitters so I could use two fans while only using one motherboard chassis fan mount. I was pretty happy with my old components which included a i5-4670K and a NVIDIA GTX 1080. Having said that I still want to feel like my new build is an upgrade so I don't want the exactly same performance. My main goal is being able to play Witcher 3 on maximum settings so please keep that in mind when going over the build. Please let me know if you think I should change anything. I tried to make the build price effective.
