Just recently, I've been having a problem where my GPU usage (and frames along with it) have slowly been dropping after I launch a game. I first experienced it on Forza Horizon 5, where I had around 70 frames on all max settings with my GPU usage at 90%+ when I first started playing, and after 10 minutes or so, I was down to 25ish frames and 30% usage on my GPU. If I pause the game and let it sit for a good while, the load will return to normal then slowly drop again when I resume playing. This has since happened on other games, such as Rocket League, Gang Beasts, and Jedi Survivor. As the usage drops, the audio will start crackling badly. I suspect this is because games sometimes use the GPU to handle audio. I've ruled out thermal throttling, as I've used this PC for 3 years now with no issues like this and my temps never get that high when this issue is occurring. I also tried taking off the front panel and blowing a fan into the PC and the issue still arose. I've DDU'd my drivers and reinstalled, set the games to high priority, cleaned my PC, ran a Malwarebytes scan, and nothing has worked. Specs: Ryzen 7 3700x RTX 3060 Ti Asus Prime x-570p 16gb of Corsair 3600mhz DDR4 If anyone has had this same issue and has fixed it or thinks they may know the root of this problem, any help is welcome! If any more information is needed, feel free to ask and I'll try my best to provide it. Thanks!

While playing games like Fortnite, Outer Worlds, Ghostwire Tokyo with my GTX 1070, I get frame drops into low 40s-50s at every single setting while looking at areas with buildings for some reason, with 60% GPU and CPU utilization (CPU utilization sometimes goes to 100% but goes back down) while getting these low frames.. All online benchmarks show much higher fps with a setup similiar to mine. Specs below: GTX 1070 Ryzen 5 2400g MSI B350m Pro-Vdh Samsung 2x8 DDR4 2666mhz 2X4 DDR4 2400mhz (Running at 2133 mhz as I cannot enable XMP) Aerocool 600w 80+ bronze PSU Twinmos SATA 512 GB SSD Windows 10 Home I'm also sure that my computer is utilizing the GTX 1070 and not the Vega 8 graphics

So I bought a new PC, my spec is: RTX3060Ti, i5-12400F, 2x16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, 500W PSU, 165hz monitor so with this spec I should have atleast 4-500fps in CS:GO in low res and settings wich seems to be CPU bounding, but I only get 2-300 on maps like mirage and on more demanding maps like nuke, vertigo, inferno It can go down to 160fps wich is crazy low, I can definetly feel it, its not that responsive and it just not right. In other games it runs as it should I mean not very good, like COD Warzone 2.0 is on low settings and I have 90 fps but on 1440p Idk if thats normal but yea. Things I tried: -I tried to reinstall windows a lot of times, tried to run games without any background apps -updated BIOS -tried to turn on the settings completely, or turn them fully high, it was the same fps with full 1440p and with 1280x960res I got the same fps -switched powerplan, nvidia settings etc. -I have stutters in CS:GO too, like when playing the first match for like the first 5-10 minutes I have stutters -Monitored the power consumption, clockspeeds etc. I noticed that I had a PL1 CPU power limit, wich cause my CPU to run on lower power when it reached like 75C, I fixed that with throttlestop, turned off the PL1 limit it now uses more power but I still dont have more fps, -the temperature is normal, nothing extreme Summary: So I tried to lower the resolution or the settings in CS:GO but it stayed at the same fps, wich means CPU bound, BUT I watched youtube videos with the same spec, and they all had sometimes twice my fps and more stability, I monitored the CPU and GPU usage, and I had the same usage or even more this guy for example has the same spec, but I could never have 5-600fps on mirage, the half of it maybe, so, he had 20-30%CPU usage with 40-50%GPU I have the same, with the same clockspeeds but half of the performance, why the hell? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAVE TO MENTION this is a prebuilt PC, two of my friends bought the same PC, they have the same performance, So I would say that is a hardware problem, but what? one of my friends have an RTX3060 with the same CPU, and has the same fps in CS:GO as me with an RTX3060Ti and same CPU

So yeah, as the title says I have an underperforming PC, RTX3060Ti i5-12400F 16GB RAM, the cooling is not the problem, The CPU and GPU works as it should work (tested them with HWmonitor etc.), for some reason if I turn off the CFG (Control Flow Guard) Exploit protection than I dont have stuttering but I have still low fps, I have a 1440P monitor it does not matter what resolution do I set in CS:GO it has the same results and same with other games too not only CS:GO, I have a 500W Platinum power supply wich is enough for that spec, I even have high input lag wich is killin me in CS pls help I tried literally everything I just hope somebody will say something that I did not tried yet (I reinstalled windows too)

So a few months back I could play this game fine, 60 FPS no problem. Now, when I install it and play, I get 10 FPS even in the menus. What the heck is wrong? I tried installing older GPU drivers, I tried infinite ammounts of launch options, I tried different older versions and patches of the game, which ran slightly better but still 15 FPS. Now I installed it on my 6 year old Lenovo B50-70, where it runs FLAWLESS. Just gotta lower the settings. I am completely out of ideas why this could be. Please help, I wanna play this game so bad. My rig: GPU: Sapphire RX470 Nitro (4GB) CPU: i7-4770 HDD: WD Purple 1000GB 7200RPM RAM: 2x 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Monitor: 1080p 60Hz, DVI-to-HDMI connection Forgot to mention, if this is of any importance, laptop runs on Windows 7, and my PC is on Windows 10. I did try compatibility settings.

Hello guys, it seems that FPS in my games are pretty bad for my setup, i've got between 70 and 80 FPS in Battlefield 1. Everything is at max settings, with scalling set to 100%. WarThunder maxed with 4x ssaa, around 70-90 FPS Squad - 70 with drops to even 50 fps Theres no problem with voltage for sure, also temps are fine (even for Armor). While playing GPU is at 99% usage so... Been trying to even plug-out and then plug in again ram and gpu, didnt work. Turned off those "great" Windows game modes etc. Drivers for gpu- older or fresh - again, not difference in fps. Maybe it's Windows thing and I have to reinstall if? 10 home edition 20h2 ver. GPU is plug in PCIe x16 of course. What else i can do? Im running out of ideas. GTX 1080TI Armor Ryzen 2700 32Gis of ram in Dual channel (2x16 2666mhz) Mobo MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Chieftec 600w PSU Also im playing only at 1080p with 165hz monitor.

Hello peeps how is everyone doing? I had a phantek vertical GPU mount and just learned about PCIe 3.0 and 4.0. My Vega 56 was working very well when I was using the riser and now that I upgraded to a MSI 3080 LHR, im getting 60 fps at 100% usage on starcraft 2/battlefield 1. I tried to go into the bios to change the PCIe to 3.0 but i cant seem to find the setting although I'm following the steps correctly (based on YouTube and forums). Now for my issue I cant seem to find anything litterally anything online so if anyone can give me any tip to change PCIe from 4.0 to 3.0. My pc used to run relatively fast. Its 11 years old and It runs slower than like every pc. But It has gotten super slow recently. My fps in games went from 100 on low settings down to 12-25 on low settings. I never have anything open in the background. I have tried ddu 3 times. I have reinstalled windows, replaced the hard drive, and upgraded ram. What could possibly be the problem. Its also taking longer on startup.

Hey guys, Soooo I was doing something around the room when my kiddo put his juice on the top of my pc, I was turned for maybe 3 minutes, when next minute I hear my PCs fans going off there head and the display turned off... I rushed to turn it off and try to clean some of it up and unplugged everything I could but I think I may of failed, I unplugged my RAM sticks (only 1 was faulty) and the graphics card as well as my SSDs, after leaving it over night before powering it back up she booted up again, but now every game I play can never get over 20FPS, I've tried KingdomCome Deliverance, GTA, MC, Cyberpunk and even Roblox!!!! Anyone that could help would be good, if not that's okay. I don't have the best rig, in fact some may not even call it a rig but with pricing the way it is right now, I really am trying to avoid new parts hahahaha! GTX1070 Ryzen 7 1700 12GB RAM 64bit

I upgraded my GTX1080 to a 3080ti and was expecting a boost in performance, but so far my experience has been very frustrating and disappointing I have been struggling with this for the past few days. I tried many things, but nothing really seems to work, and I just don't know what the problem could be. I play on a 1080p 240hz monitor, I play a few selected games on my 4k TV. Games appear to run fine in 4k, but not in 1080p. I have this Problem where I'm pretty sure I do not get the Fps I should in most games: For example CSGO: 200 fps Apex: 200- 220 fps Warzone: 110-130 fps Battlefield 4: 160 fps Some off these games are set to low or have dsll enabled, but there is no noticeable improvement, sometimes maybe about 20fps. There are videos on YouTube with the same or very similar gpu and cpu setups that have way better performance, some get like 80fps more. The only game that has similar performance to videos is Cyberpunk. Some things I have tried: I wiped my system clean and installed windows and all drivers from new, Uninstalling Drivers with DDU, Performance settings in windows and nvidia, Gpu Temp is around: 80 °C CPU about 60 °C I hope someone might be able to help me out Will provide any information that is needed. Thank you!

I upgraded my GTX1080 to a 3080ti and was expecting a boost in performance, but so far my experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. I have been struggling with this for the past week, I tried many things, but nothing really seems to work, and I just don't know what the problem could be. I play on a 1080p 240hz monitor, I play a few selected games on my 4k TV. Games appear to run fine in 4k, but not in 1080p. I have this Problem where I'm pretty sure I do not get the Fps I should in most games: For example: CSGO: 200 fps (GPU Usage at around 30%) Apex: 180- 220 fps (GPU Usage at around 60%) Warzone: 110-130 fps (GPU Usage at around 65%) Battlefield 4: 160 fps (GPU Usage at around 50%) Battlefield 5: 110 fps, (GPU Usage at around 65%) I also noticed that the less stuff is happening in game, the more GPU usage I get (looking into the sky, focusing on ares with no activity) but as soon as there is a little bit of action, things go downhill I watched Videos with people using similar parts, and they have way better performance, sometime 50+ fps more. In Benchmarks, everything seems fine and everything works as it should : TimeSpy: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/21346081 UBM: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/44431340 CPU also seems fine with a Cinebench20 score of: 4800 Stock and 5000 OC. Things I have tried so far: Using DDU in Safe Mode, uninstalling driver and reinstalling them. Fresh installation of Windows for the 8th time now. Buying a new Motherboard and Ram. XMP is on. Maximum Performance Settings in Nvidia and Windows. Overclocking (only made noticeable difference in 4K) Updating drivers of the Motherboard, updating BIOs. Bought a new case with better airflow. GPU at around 75 and CPU °C around 70 °C I'm starting to run out of Ideas... and I don't know what to do I also had this Blackscreen problem 2 times now after using the switch display option in 2 different games were after I switch the Picture from my 4K TV to my 1080p and turn off the TV results in this: I still have to option to return the card no questions asked for another 2 weeks, but don't know if the GPU is really the problem here. But still I don't want to be stuck with a card that cost me 1.400€ and doesn't t give me full performance in the games I play. Thank you for your time, any advice is appreciated, and I will provide any Information that is needed

I have a ryzen 52400g, gtx1650, 12gb ram, custom air cooler. I am barely hitting 140fps in valorant, my average is 100, it drops down to 88 sometime. my cpu and gpu utilization stays under 50% and 30%. In other games like fry cry 4 at ultra setting motion blur off i get constant 50 fps with max 62 and lowest 44. In pubg all low i get 100 fps easily. I have done everything to improve fps like render scale i have decreased to 40% still no fps difference. I tried playing with my dad's laptop specs I7 8750h gtx1050ti 16gb ram. I am getting over 150fps at max settings. Please help someone please.

Hi there, Im unsure what to do at Christmas I purchased a second hand pc at it worked amazingly and I was getting average of 200fps in majority of games. Recently however I noticed that my FPS for no reason without and updates or anything that the pc was slowing down and that my FPS In games was hitting about 60 FPS and 100 and not going back up to the normal 200 I had experienced. Unsure I had a look in bios and turned some of my settings with my ram and cpu to auto I’m unsure which ones exactly. In doing so it had no effect however recently my pc is struggling drastically whenever I boot up my pc it’s laggy and won’t even respond to me opening chrome it takes forever to do so and is getting almost unusable I’m unsure what else I can possible do please help.

I have 20-40 Fps while playing Borderlands 3 with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, an AMD FX 8300 and 12 gb of ram. I know for a fact that these specs should be enough to run this game with consistent 60 FPS. I used GeForce Experience to optimize my game settings and have tried numerous other things. My GPU is only at 50-60 C, I don't have any Background Programs open and for some reason my GPU usage is only between 30% to 80% (often sitting at 50% to 60%). I have the newest driver for my GPU and the newest drivers for my CPU should already be on my Motherboard (at least that is what I have been told). If anyone has any idea of what I could do I would really appreciate the help. My Clock memory on MSI Afterburner and GeForce Experience is always at 3504 mhz (does not change).

Hi there! My friend bought a Ryzen 5 3400g and sent it to me as he doesn't have the rest of the PC to test it yet. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 1070 founders, so I took them out and istalled the 3400g and started to test the processor with the built in vega 11 graphics, but performance was way lower than expected. For example, The Witcher 3 should be playable at 1080p 30-40fps according to most reviews on youtube, but it doesn't reach even 30 fps on 720p ultra low preset. The same happens with other games, Apex Legends should run at 45-50 fps on 1080p but it goes at 30-40 on 720p. To make it short, to get somehow close to framerates as seen on youtube in several videos, I must go down to 720p when all the reviews show the games being played at 1080p. And even with that resolution downgrade I don't reach the framerate seen on the reviews. I tried to install the Adrenalin software but no changes were perceived. If you have any idea of what's going on please let me know, it is the first time I test a ryzen apu and there might be extra setup steps I skipped because of my ignorance. Thank you!

Hey everyone, so here’s somthing weird that started about 2 weeks ago. I have a Ryzen 5 3600, and an rx 580 8G OC. They used to preform fine playing VR, and games like Fortnite and Minecraft. But all of a sudden that completely changed. In Fortnite and Minecraft, there’s tons of frame drops and studdering. When I’m landing in Fortnite, it like lags and brings me back a few feet higher up in the air. And for Minecraft, I get below 60Fps, if I put my render distance above 12. But the weird part is, in the beginning, vr had the same major glitches, but now, VR works perfectly fine with 90FPS, but a second later in Minecraft, the FPS is just bad. If anyone knows what the reason for this is, that would be great.

Ok, so i just downloaded warzone to play with a friend. My specs are: I5 7400, gtx 1050. And with EVERYTHING at low and render resolution uncomfortably low, it still says 2300 of 1977 mb of vram. But i littaraly can't turn it down more. I i get a choppy 40-55 fps. Is something wrong, every other game i play works well, atleast at low settings... What can i do?

Hello, I have a problem with low FPS and major stuttering in games. I could play CoD: Warzone at high specs with FPS at the 90-100 mark and since the last months i noticed stuttering in games like Enter the Gungeon and Control. I've now played AC Valhalla for two days and its unplayable (Screenshot). The CPU and GPU utilization is not that high so no bottleneck there i supose. I've read that a PSU can be the problem but i'm not sure. Setup: OS: Windows 10 Business Edition 64-Bit CPU: I5-8600 GPU: RTX2070 Super (Gigabit) (60 oC) Ram: 16Gb 2666 Mhz DDR4 SSD: 500 GB Samsung (Evo?) PSU: Don't know the brand 500 Watts (Think this is the problem) Screen: 2560 × 1440 Thanks in advance, TheNobel

I have tried a few of the fixes for this and am afraid maybe my GPU (XFX 5700 XT Thicc II) is the culprit. The temperatures are always good though. However, most of the time, even when idle, radeon desktop app thing reports at least 90% VRAM utilization. If i'm running a game it is always over 100% which is ridiculous. No other game has any issues. I have reinstalled the game. Maybe one of you has had this issue or can point me in the direction of a fix I have not tried. I have tried : Disable Full Screen Optimizations Update Graphics Drivers Closing all programs Delete temp files Power settings

I'm sorry if this isn't the place to post this - let me know if so.. I have tried damn near everything to solve this - The user.cfg hotfix file, vsync, NVIDIA control panel/experience all settings, all of it. Turned off all overlays (origin, nvidia, xbox) and overclocking apps, viva/fraps, killed processes i.e. I'm all out of ideas. Online/offline made no difference, setting all options to low got me 32 fps and ultra @200 resolution scale gets me 26-30?? I'm livid and at the edge of giving up. Playing on Origin, EA Play subscription, from an SSD. GTX 1080 Ti, Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM
