I recently installed Deepcool's GAMMAXX L240 A-RGB in my PC and everything was working fine. But the next day, while working on my PC, BSOD happened and I had to restart my PC, after that my coolers fan were stuck with a dim blue colour (but the fans are running properly). I tried to change the colour with the RGB controller but only the AiO colour changed. IMG_20240115_192132373.jpg

In my new PC, I have an AIO for my 5900X. I love the thing so much, it’s so great. Since it’s a big part of my PC, I think it deserves its own review. THE PROS Well, it’s a cooler. It cools the CPU, which makes it go faster, which makes me happy. I love how quiet it is as well. I also love the RGB fans on it. They look so, professional and classy. The RGB software is simple and fun, and it’s quiet. Did I mention it was quiet? Sadly, there is one con. THE CLEANING. THE CONS I am scared of the day I have to clean this beauty. I have heard that it is a pain in the butt. You have to disassemble almost the entire thing and get like an air compressor to clean it. It sounds very challenging and not fun. CONCLUSION It’s so wonderful. The cleaning might be a miss, but every beauty has an ugly side I guess you could say. Corsair H150i AIO Rating: 9.5/10. It just works.

I just bought a Galahad 240mm and i’m desperately trying to lower the cpu fan speed. It spins constantly at 3200 rpm even when idling and it is too noisy. Amazon said the fan had a max speed of 1900 so i’m still trying to figure out how it suddendly became 2/3 higher. Maybe that was referred to the pump itself and not the pump fan? i have no idea, but they surely should have said that. Honestly i don’t even know if the pump speed and the cpu fan speed are the same or if they are separated since in the bios there is both a “aio pump” and a “cpu fan” but some people treat them as the same thing. I tried changing the speed in the BIOS but nothing happens. i tried changing the speed in msi afterburner but nothing happens. i tried changing the speed in ai suite 3 but the program says the cpu fan has an adjustability of 0% (a range that goes from 3200 to 3200 rpm). I already had to send back my capellix cause it was even louder at much lower fan speeds, but this too noisy as well. My only hope is a post on reddit of a year ago where someone said they managed to lower it to 60% or even 40% of the full speed and the fact that this is possible is supported by one of the people in the comments saying that lian li support told him the fan should always stay at maximum speed.

Hi all- I currently have an AMD Ryzen 3700X with an ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports CPU cooler. Its been a decent CPU cooler over the past few years since I made the system but just recently the fan decided to spin itself to death and now I had two choices, either buy a new fan or just get a new CPU cooler. I've always wanted to try liquid cooling in a system and the Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX cooler caught my attention. I already have a corsair case and memory so I would like the CPU cooler to also match. If someone has a better cooler in mind let me know but I want it to match with the Corsair ecosystem that I've invested in. The case I have now is a Corsair 220T AirFlow and so it says it supports 360mm coolers but it looks like it is going to be an extremely tight fit so I think I would rather stick to 240mm. I am not overclocking the system at all so I don't need a lot of overhead. Thanks for everyone who responds advice.

Here are the two things that I need to consider if the AIO cooler 240mm will fit inside the computer, the Case and MOBO, they are listed here: CASE: CORSAIR CARBIDE 275R Computer Case, Black Model# CC-9011132-WW Motherboard: GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING I need a 240mm AIO Liquid Cooler, I wanted the one that will keep my now old 2700x Air Cooled MUCH cooler, but I am not into Overclocking, but I would like a 60-80 FPS in all the famous games. I especially like Simulation games. So for a budget between $99 to $120 would someone recommend a few, bank for your buck, AIO 240mm liquid coolers that would meet my needs?? Also would be going from 2700x to 3600/3700x/3700x be faster, like aloud me saying 'Good God that is so much faster"? Thanks to all who read this and to all who offer an old man some advice.

The Corsair H100X is my first ever liquid cooler and so far, Im not so sure about it. I have 10 fans installed in my system and they're all running. Still, the humming sound the pump is making is way more audible than the fans. Does anyone have experience with AiOs? Is this normal behaviour or do most AiOs not produce any humming. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I currently purchased a case Asus TUF GT501 and I wanted to know if it is compatible with the Asus ROG Strix LC 240 RGB AIO. The reason I ask this is that according to pcpartpicker the case and the AIO are not compatible (see screenshot), however this case supports up to 360 mm AIO LC coolers, so I was wondering if any of you guys know anything about it.

Hey Guys, I need urgent advice on whether you think this radiator is still okay to use. First build and I accidentally screwed into the radiator when mounting fans... its not leaking and I only screwed until about 1/3 of the depth. Any help appreciated!

So I just built my first PC after having a pre built for 4 years. With it being a pretty high end build I wasn't impressed with the CPU temps. Below is the specs for the build. Ryzen 3700x Asus ROG Strix Lc 240 AIO with stock fans on the radiator Lian Li PC-O11 case ASRock B550 Steel Legend EVGA 2060 (In the EVGA 90 upgrade program so I will be upgrading to the EVGA FTW3 3080 when it is in stock) Two 16 GB 3600 Trident Z neo sticks 1TB Western Digital black NVME 2 TB Seagate Barracuda 3 Corsair LL120 case fans (with 3 more on the way) A picture is included to show airflow configuration The problem I was running into was the cpu temps. Without touching any of the fan speeds the, according to motherboard software, the cpu was running between 37-50. According to some quick google searches a build to this caliber should have much cooler temps. I then attempted to adjust fan speeds, I only adjusted the fans that are attached to the radiator. I used the motherboard software to adjust the speeds depending on the temps of the CPU which included. 1000 RPM at 35C 1200 RPM at 45C 1900 RPM at 60C 2240 Rpm (Max) at 80+C All 3 case fans are running at 800 RPM I'm not an expert on PC temps but with it hovering around 45C with only Spotify open it was getting fairly loud and I don't even have all the case fans in yet. Everything is up to date in my system. But this is where I need some assistance could it be possible that I installed the AIO incorrectly, is there a better RPM I could run at certain temps to reduce noise, should I just get better fans to put on the radiator, or do I need to change my air path in the case. If I had to replace the fans I would want them to be white but I don't really care other than that I just want performance and noise levels when I comes to the CPU temps. Any help is much appreciated

Hey guys, I just finished up my new build and everything is working great other than my radiator fans (fans up top, see pic). For some reason, they don't seem to spin, even though it seems like they're getting power and making a dull clicking noise. The pump is working fine, just not the fans. Here's what I've done: - Confirmed SATA plugged in correctly - Confirmed pump is connected to USB 2.0 port - Confirmed pump is connected to CPU_FAN with correct orientation - Confirmed that splitter cables running from the three fans are intact and going into the pump All attempts to control fan speed via CAM software have turned up at a loss. The pump and my other two fans are working, just not these top ones. Any help?

Purchase a kraken z53 cooler. Installed it to my ryzen 7 3700x, motherboard is a msi b450 gaming plus max, so after turning on the PC it was fine, then after windows opened the fans started to get real loud and fast then right after it gets loud and fast it gets slow and quite. Also the temperature reading on the kraken z53 is wrong and every time the cooler reading increases the fans get crazy loud. I don't what is causing this, my motherboard didn't have a 3 pin CPU OPT header so I plugged the coolers 3 socket wire to the motherboards 4 pin CPU FAN header. I'm not sure if that's causing this. But whatever it is I need helppppp!!!!! Oh also I installed the radiator inside and the fans outside on top and there's a vent with pretty big holes in between the radiator and the fans, could that cause the issue? I just don't know VID-20221220-WA0001.mp4

I installed a cooler master ML240L RGB liquid cooler in my system. The day after installing it, the pump started to audibly click slowly. By the next day the clicking grew to a constant ticking and did not want to stop. I tried removing the cooler and reinstalling it, I have tipped the pc every which way to work the air bubble out of it. The only thing I have done that was successful was to turn the pump speed down to 80%. please help me find a fix for this IMG_2175 (2).MOV

So i've just bought the Enermax Liqmax RGB III 120, and it comes with an RGB fan, and the cooling compnent itself as rgb too. But my motherboard doesent have any RGB headers, so what can i do to make them actually light up? they come with these 4 pin connectors, and they don't seem to fit into all of the rgb fan controllers i can find online, so maybe you've got some suggestions, or do i have to buy a new motherboard? Thanks :)

Hi Team, My Name is Subramanya, I am from Bangalore, India. I am an IT professional I head the IT for my office and I am huge pc gaming enthusiast. I own myself decent rig. I am huge fan of you guys, I have been following Linus videos since 2010 way back when the videos was called NCIX tech tips. I dont miss any video of yours. I am kind of run my Own tech tips (not any youtube or forum) with friends circle, in office, family everywhere, I always tell people to check out your videos. This is my rig spec Intel core i7 7700k, MSI Gaming Pro Carbon 270, 32 GB (4x8) 3000 MHZ Corsair vengeance pro RGB, EVGA SC2 1080 GTX, Cooler master master care pro 6, CM lite 600W, CM Master fan air flow RGB fans, CM Masterliquid 240, Samsung 950 EVO NVME 500GB, Seagate 2 TB HDD, ACER XB241h, Logitech g502, Logitech G 413, Logitech G35, Razer vespula. :) Ok, here is my question for you guys, I got my rig back in 2017 August, My CPU runs pretty toasty its always hot. Now it has got worse hitting temps upto 97 C in stress test. So, I was just wonder is it time to change the cooler? Please suggest me on how to fix the hotness problem of my CPU.

Hey guys, Just wanna start off by saying I'm absolutely furious towards NZXT customer service.I bought an NZXT Kraken X63 for 150$ off of Amazon official NZXT. The CAM software won't recognize the product no matter what I tried. CAM controls for the pump and lights are basically non-existent. I literally emailed back and forth with their tech support for a whole month like an email a day which is horrendous. Because of covid 19 they have live chat AND phone calls disabled?? What the sh*t is that bruh. Long story short guy asks my msinfo and dxdiag and then tells me to plug a MOTHERBOARD USB CABLE that the pump has to the USB 2.0-3.0 BEHIND THE COMPUTER. I'm like bro you sure you working the right job>? Then he says oh you should just get it exchanged through amazon. Dude, the product is fine, I have access to everything manually through my BIOS it's just the fact that I paid extra for a better looking front panel with the bigger LED surface area and I can't make it go anything else besides white? What am I gonna do just sit for 2 weeks without using my computer as I wait for incompazon to receive and send me back a new cooler? As if that one's going to work. Obviously their software is absolute sh*tware. After that they just stopped responding to me and never responded to the new tickets I made. I can't send it back anymore because it's past it's deadline. I'm borderline about to open up a case with NZXT because of their lack of support for their customers and selling faulty products. Just help me out if you can guys I'm desperate for help.

R-134a passive "Fluid" CPU Cooler
sakibsadmanshajib posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Hey, I saw Linus's last video, so I was thinking may be Fluid R-134a can be used for passive cooling technology. R-134a is really cheap. I have once used that in a science project of mine. Well, I'm not an expert, I'm just if it's possible or not. Just Saying.- 11 replies

Hello All, I'm planning to have my second build this month or next, and I'm considering entering the realm of liquid cooling for the first time with it. So after a bit of research, I zeroed in on the Corsair H60 liquid cooler. I know it's not the best liquid cooler in the market, but I don't really plan on getting the best mainly because I don't have the budget. Anyway, I'm a bit paranoid about the whole liquid cooling thing because of the risks associated with it(leaking and pump failure). So my main concern is its reliability. Our computer usage is usually 8+ hours a day on weekdays, mostly light usage with a couple of hours of gaming. On weekends, 10 hours at least, a mix of light browsing, gaming, design work, 3D rendering and possibly content creation. Is this cooler reliable enough to last a few years(3+) with all those hours of use?

Hi there folks. I have a 4790k on an ASUS Maximus VII Hero mobo with the Corsair H100i all in one liquid cooler. The CPU is clocked to 4.4Ghz using 1.26V. I have the SP fans that came with the H100i kit sucking air from outside the case and pushing it through the radiator. My pump speed is 2147 RPMs, and the H100i temp is 45°C at idle. This problem has been ongoing for some time but with the cold winter air It wasn't too bad. Now that it's getting warm I'm starting to have problems with the CPU temps. I was just hitting 90°C when trying to play battlefield 1 and had to quit the game immediately. The CPU temp hovers around 55°C at idle. My room is 72°F. The cooler is 3 years old. I used to use a 4770k with this H100i and had no problems. Could the cooler be at fault, is 3 years too long to use it? I have tried re-seating the waterblock 4 times now, and have the same results every time. I checked the backplate and it seems to be mounted correctly. I am using artic silver 5 with the rice method, and tighten down using the X pattern until finger tight, and then 1 more rotation with the screwdriver. I am about at my wits end here and I am considering buying a Noctua air cooler or a new H100i, because I've tried everything I know to do. Does anyone have any suggestions, or know of a step that I am missing?

Here is my problem. I've got a Core-i7 4790k with corsair H100i GTX dual fan liquid cooler and temperature is at friggin 60 DEGREES Celsius at idle. What I've Tried Cleaned EVERY component fully and thoroughly, Applied NEW thermal paste in perfect way. Still the same. Disable turbo boost , reduces may be 5 degrees max but still, it's friggin hot.
