Hello everyone i am about to move and i wanted to be smarter, literally and metaphorically. so, i was looking of lights, but nothing rly was jumping into my eye, then i noticed philips hue. the system itself at least sounds real good, but its very expensive. i have seen others brands for cheaper, but i have no experience at all in that area. thats why i ask here. what i want is rgb (cause all rooms are left white and nearly everything are shades of grey), dimmable, create groups, which would be each room. i also want movement detection, so i dont have to switch the lights on and off, as well as adjustable light intensities for certain daytimes. for example i dont wanna have 100% light at 3 o clock in the morning, i also dont want the color be blue then xD if sorta things are possible, that would be awesome. i then thought, if i make the lighting that way, maybe something like this with sound is also possible? like i have one source and when i move to another room, the sound "goes with me". i did start looking into things, but i am by no means a person of quick decision, this could easily take up to half a year for me, cause if i dont understand something i try to understand it. thats the other big reason im asking here, in hope it speeds up the process a lot. also, im not sure if home theater equipment is the correct spot for this. if not i am sorry and will post it in the correct one.

Hi! I have an old 20" Asus monitor, a friend of mine give it to me saying that He never used it a lot. As you can see in the attached video, when I plug it in a socket the only thing that happens is a short blue LED and then nothing else. What can it be? Some component need to be change? Thanks to everyone who will answer. 20240408_152857_1.mp4

Hello everyone! I'm having this issue for the past two days and I just can't figure it out. When I turn the PSU off and then on the green LED is on and it directs me to the boot menu. From the BIOS when I press the Windows Boot Manager it boots normally. So here's where the problem starts. When I restart the PC the white LED starts to glow (after DRAM and CPU) permanently: and there isn't anything on the monitor as well and the Display Port is greyed out as if it isn't connected at all. Recently I've done two things in the past month: 1. Eleven days ago I updated the BIOS because I wanted to add two more sticks of RAM(2x8GB) and hoped the update would make it stable on 3200 MHZ(D.O.C.P). 2. Added the two sticks of RAM into the system. I tired pretty much everything I could from README: How to respond to a no POST or no power up situation and it still doesn't boot when I restart my PC. I have no idea why the monitor doesn't turn on and why the DisplayPort is greyed out when the white LED is on, as if the monitor is not feeling it these past few days.. Here's the system as well: Every answer will be much appreciated!!!

Parts list at the bottom. I know this doesn't sound like an error but when I turn on the PC I have a weird issues with the post LEDs. Each time I boot up the PC both the CPU and DRAM LEDs light up at the same time then the PC will boot successfully with no issues after about 1-2 minutes with no issues. Any clue what's going on here? Hi All, I was looking for some advice - consider me a noobie when it comes to electronics, power supplies and matching everything correctly. Please see the image attached for what I am hoping to achieve. To get something like this from the manufacturer of the wall panels is around £200. What I think I know: - I would need a plastic diffuser track to diffuse the LEDs for a more smooth light output - Need some LED strips, Power Supply, some form of controller - To avoid soldering I would most likely need to buy (e.g.) 5 1m strips and cut down 3 of them to get varying lengths and discard the extra LEDs. Not the most economical, i know, but I would really like to avoid much electronic work. What I would like: - I dont have a soldering Iron and would like to avoid doing this as I don't have any experience in it before - A relative plug an play solution, even if the different components are from different manufacturers (e.g. plugging LED strip into power with pre-existing connector) Nice to have: - Smart hope integration (Apple Homekit, or even app based) - Black cables to help hide (not a deal breaker) If anyone could advise/suggest how to do this and what components to use that would be much appreciated! Or if anyone know where I could get something similar to this without the £200 price tag that would be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance, Callum

I purchased a new Samsung AU7100 65" LED TV just over 1 year ago, and within the recent weeks, it has started to develop some weird dark clouding/smudges (best I can describe) on the screen. They started off small in size, on the left-middle of the screen, but have since spread over the last few weeks, to cover about 1/4 of the left side, and now appear in small size at the top-middle, and bottom right (basically all over). These literally look like smears on the screen itself, which lead to me trying to wipe them off initially, as they do not appear smooth in their shape (like a bunch of dark/dead pixels might be), but rather random. There is no heat emitted by them, nor any flashing or odd acting pixels. They almost resemble LCD backlight bleeding, a bit instead of light bleeding in when viewing dark images, its like dark is bleeding in, with light images? They are visible when the background is light/white as shown in the images below. They are hardly visible in dark scenes which is at least a bonus. I contacted Samsung about this but as I am out of warranty, they did not care. Things I have done to try and resolve this: Turn the TV off and on again Power cycle, (unplug and leave off for an hour before turning on) Switch inputs from Apple TV, to Samsung OS, Xbox, AirPlay etc. Change all HDMI cables connected to new cables Remove all external connections Factory reset the software Play with the brightness, contrast, white balance etc. Hit with fist a few times Apply cold press to screen (saw this in a video) Apply pressure to bezels Play video that colour flashes for dead/stuck pixel's Cry Run hardware scan Turn all energy saving settings off/on All of the above did nothing, no issues reported by hardware, no changes to the clouding whatsoever. It's almost as if there are weird dark discolourations between the pixels and the laminated plastic on the surface, as brightness does nothing to them, contrast does not change them, so it cannot be the pixels themselves. The best way I can describe them is as if there are smudges on the surface of the panel that will simply not wipe off. Please do help Thank you

Thank you so much for spending your time reading this and trying to translate my schisms to potentially try to help me, I'll try get as many details in as I can. Tried to update my rig, the new stuff Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX ATX AM5 AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor Deepcool GAMMAXX 300 R 40 CFM CPU Cooler Kingston FURY 32 GB (1 x 32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40 Memory I kept this GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Video Card (one fan bby) Aerocool KCAS 650W 80+ Bronze (very old psu, might be the problem?) 2 SSD 2,5s (tried unplugging one of them during troubleshooting) Motherboard and CPU should be compatible without any bios updates. What was happening: I turn the PC on It starts up the fans They all light up, but one of three in the front stops and turns on again, cpu cooler's light flickers. DRAM stick's RGB turns on last. During that CPU LED pops up for a second and turns off, then DRAM light stays on. During that I can't turn the PC off without giving it a good old reacharound and turning off the PSU. What happens after I unplugged and plugged stuff back. All fans start right away, but CPU cooler's light still flickers. LED - CPU on and off, then DRAM lights up untill the RGB on the RAM stick turns on! Then it moves to GPU and stays on. GPU fan is spinning. I can turn off the PC with the front button now. Monitor not posting in both scenarios. I can't try to install RAM or CPU to a different computer at the time. What's concerning: Motherboard has 8+4 pin power connectors to power up the CPU, but my PSU only has one 8 pin. Although I saw that's enough for stock rigs. Motherboard and CPU are compatible no bios update required (gigabyte website), but I don't see my ram in any compatibility lists with motherboard or CPU, PCPartPicker doesn't have an issue with this combo though. PC Repair shop fella thinks I bent the pins on the motherboard... CPU cooler's mounting took a lot of strength (first attempt at AM5 mounting and amd sockets in general) and now I'm afraid they could be right. They say I shouldn't check if I did it or not, I should just give it to them to check out (yeah right). 650W PSU should be enough based on a weak GPU and 7500f having better TDP numbers compared to my 13 yo Intel CPU previously installed, right?! Thank you again! I'll keep you updated to the best of my abilities

Hello, I am working on a special build that has an aesthetic of a 60s/70s disco/blacklight poster. I have a general question about a RGB case lights. Can a RGB lights do a true UV black light like you would use to light up a poster or does it have to be limited to be specifically an only a UV black light? I am the same person that posted the build parameters but now I am just specifically looking for where I can buy the actual UVLED black light bar for the computer case itself. I don’t want to get one of those cheap strips, when you cut the length because they just look cheesy I am looking for something more like the type of a bar or you would mount on a wall but for a computer case. I tried looking on Amazon, but when I type in the parameters of UV LED black light bar for computer. It comes up with everything you would mount on a wall and that is too big to put inside a computer case. All suggestions appreciate it. Thank you.

When I boot up my PC this weird pinkish white light turns on after a few seconds, the red VGA LED on my motherboard stays on for a few seconds before turning off but this white light stays on while my PC is running I don't think my PC is suffering from any ill effects, it seems to run fine. This is a pretty new build, I've been using it for about a month and I'm happy with it but I can't find any information on what this light means. I removed and remounted the GPU and reconnected all my power pins yet it remains on. Anyone have any idea what this means? I've attached a video showing the light along with just a standalone pic Specs: Windows 11 B650 Aorus Elite AX Ryzen 5 7600 RTX 3070-TI IMG-7617.mov

Too me this sounds ridiculous but i'm gonna need some help here . I upgraded my ram today (for the first time ) from 16GB (2x8gb) to 32GB (2x16gb) . all went well RAM I upgraded to : CORSAIR CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 It did run at a speed of 2133 , a quick google search shows to change in the bios the XMP from off to profile 1 , which i did and that worked running at 3200 .(performance and everything is perfect , no problems here ) But since i changed that XMP profile my led light for my Radiator fans and CPU cooler stay on when in sleep or shut down ( super annoying ) CPU Cooler : PCS FrostFlow 240 Series ARGB High Performance Liquid Cooler (AMD) , I am 99%sure that its the XMP profile setting in bios as i just changed it back to off and the lights turn off when in sleep or power off . also checked in bios setting for LED's to turn off when in sleep , hibernation and shutdown . so i am baffled into why this is happening , i need my faster RAM speeds more than some silly LED but just an annoyance . Also but can live without for now (Gigabyte software , App Centre , RGB fusion , ext.. just don't launch anymore , could be linked but if not , not a priority at the minute ) Main Pc specs : CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Eight Core Motherboard GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X V2 RAM CORSAIR CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 32Gb (2x16GB) GPU 12GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 CPU Cooler PCS FrostFlow 240 Series ARGB Liquid Cooler (AMD) Any help appreciated , thanks ! Edit : light go off on shutdown now but still not on sleep

Good Morning, Recently I ran into an issue with my desktop PC of where the VGA light is on and is (now) preventing boot. 2 weeks ago I noticed a VGA light and about a 4-5 minute boot time. I figured, "Oh, it must be drivers" so I updated my drivers and still the same issue. I ignored it and lived with the 5 minute boot for about a week. I went out of town a few days later and when I returned the VGA light is always on, prevents boot and no screen output with NO ability to get to BIOS. I ventured on my own troubleshooting steps. - Drivers - Updates - BIOS Update - Removal of GPU, Cleaning, and Re-Installation - CMOS Reset - NVME Removal - Verified GPU works in another rig - Used a different known good boot drive When I removed my NVME drive I was able to enter BIOS with the GPU installed. I moved the NVME drive into another slot and was able to see a message saying "SAMSUNG 970EVO500GB NOT_FOUND" or similar, I put it back into its original slot and ran back into the issues. I got a Windows Error of "0x00000e" then it would enter a boot loop with the NVME installed in Slot 1 instead of Slot 0 I bought a new NVME SSD (970 EVO+ 1TB) that I verified works with an image of Win 10. Still nothing, I'm truly at a loss and looking for any help. Hello everyone, My problem started 8 months ago where my PC occasionally didn't start. I needed to press the power button more than once in like a minute for it to start. After being away for a weekend and turning of the power extension, the PC didn't start at all. Yesterday, I finally got to put my components out of the case onto an OpenBench Table and it worked with bridging the power contacts. Today, it failed again. Since these 8 months, everytime I tried to boot it, it mostly only worked when the LEDs turned on (only some seconds). If the LEDs are off, PC doesn't start. When it is on, it doesn't crash or anything. Also there isn't any MB Beeping. My guess is that It's either the MB or PSU. Though I suspected the Power Button of my Case before aswell. I have been using this AM5 build since December and all the sudden this morning it stopped fully POSTing. It now gets stuck with both the DRAM and CPU LEDs illuminated solidly at the same time for the entire duration that it is left powered after turning it on. I have already: gotten a new power supply (the one listed in the parts list), updated the bios to the latest one listed on their website by using BIOS flashback, cleared CMOS many times using both the jumper and removing the battery completely, tried booting with only one ram module in the last slot and in many other configurations, unplugged everything except ATX mobo power and cpu power (so even panel headers). I'm not sure what else to do at this point, it seems likely that it is the cpu considering bios flashback seemed to work but I haven't yet found someone nearby with an AM5 system to test against. build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/klamptramp/saved/cTWVFT mobo manual: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B650 Pro RS.pdf bios flashback instructions: https://www.asrock.com/support/QA/FlashbackSOP.pdf

Greetings! I have a problem that seems to not be that common and couldn't find a fix after a little bit of searching, so I apologize in advance if I am duping a post. My monitor is flickering specifically when a game is loading or I am in a loading screen. It also flickers when using software like blender, adobe photoshop and unity for just light tasks. It doesn't constantly flicker though, excluding when something is loading in there it also flickers when hovering with my mouse cursor over the screen. It would have been fine if that occurred only when something is loading but it started bothering me when I became using creative software and it distracts me when doing my work. Defining my flickering- my screen seems to be changing the brightness upright(or maybe the gamma, because something scales up also on max brightness) a couple times a second(2-10) when loading something i.e. in a game, the game, a software, or using the software when moving my mouse and loading something in there. I will provide other information, images, or videos if desired. I will be very grateful if you come up with a solution for this. I've heard that the problem isn't really that rare, because it is not bothering gamers when they only see that in loading screens. That may be occurring on high refresh rate LCD panels but I digress. Specifications: Ryzen 5 5600x ryzen master simple recommended OC and smart access memory enabled in bois 16gb ram 3200mhz DOCP Rtx 3070 asus tuf no OC stable game ready driver version 531.18 Aoc c24g1 1080p, 144hz, with drivers from the manufacturer and overdrive on medium from its settings, display port to display port AsRock x570 phantom gaming 4, stable fairly recent(maybe the newest) bois version beQuiet system power 9 600w Windows 10 pro on SATA 2.5 SSD Kingston A400 480GB Theories and additional stuff: The cables and hardware is all seated properly. It is not a hardware issue except maybe the panel technology; I did use ddu when installing my graphics card; I have already did the simple settings like putting g-sync, max herz, and changing the monitor driver from the default windows generic pnp display; The screen doesn't have phisical damage except maybe standart stuff of ware that I haven't looked too closely lately on the panel; Although, I have thrown and hit accidentally the middle top part of the screen with the tip of a ballpoint pen and 5 pixels usynchronized with the colors and are either blue or black but that is an impossible reason for the flickering because I am sure that it was happening since the first day of the system; I have heard that PSU could cause this because some of the flickering problems are related to power. Mine is behaving kinda funny recently. Sometimes it starts doing some high pitch noise but that is probably the fan dying because it became louder than before; It's a curse. I do live a happy satisfying life but "God giveth, God taketh", right? Although I might get success in other beneficial initiatives but I am obliged to get a small counter to this by very tiny and only little irritating problems with my PC. I have had many others like this type and my mind is melting whenever I fix it; The small problems I am talking about might be because I am living in Bulgaria. The fact living here is not particularly the cause but the thing called "third quality" that here is common. The things sold here might be first use, but the quality that gets here is one that barely meets the standard (or maybe not even) for it to qualify for selling. I don't know what we are importing, but I know that we are one of the last in the line. The stuff is sailed first from eastern Asia to the USA, then from the USA to western Europe and only then it is our turn. It is known that it is common practice for the countries from the euro-atlantic cycle to screw us over a lot but I individually can not do anything for that right now. The stuff is so rigged that the problem may be because of the case light at that point... ⣿⣯⣿⣿⣿⣶⣶⣶⣶⣤⣤⣤⣀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷ ⠈⠻⣿⡛⠉⠭⠉⠉⢉⣿⣿⣧ ⠲⣶⠖⠄⠄⢿⣿⠄⠶⣶⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⣧ ⠺⢿⡗⠄⣹⣿⣿⠿⣟⣿⡏ ⠤⠤⢾⣿⣿⣿⣦⠘⡿ ⠈⢻⡿⣷⣶⣶⣤⣤⣤⣶⣦ ⣽⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡟ ⠘⠿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⠉⠉⠛⠋

Hey, I've been dealing with this issue since i built PC with NZXT Kraken x63. All cables are connected correctly as it's written in Manual of installation. The AIO is working really well on OC 8700k,it can also be detected in NZXT Cam with The strip of NZXT H510i. I Can change everything except pump RGB Light (Circle/Led) and its only visible in the one corner, can't even light up NZXT Logo (Check the real image).I've tried different usb ports and other sata connectors but still same. Am i doing something wrong or it has dead Led on pump? Should i contact the seller? Thanks.

hello, i recently got the phanteks p500a drgb version, as well as 2 sets of the phanteks neon drgb strip combos (1 set has 2 strips). my motherboard is the strix x470-f and has one 5v argb header. i have the 3 included case fans and the case's drgb strip currently daisy chained and plugged into the mobo header. i was wondering if adding those extra drgb strips (4 to be added in total) would overload the header on the motherboard? sorry im not too good with figuring out this kind of thing, i just wanna make sure i dont blow up the header from too much current or anything

So I decided to plug in an old 80mm fan with LEDs to my NZXT Sentry 3 to test out the lights and I noticed that when I lowered the fan speed, the lights would dim. The fan I tested with: The 3 pin connector of the fan controller (its wide enough for a 4 pin but only has 3 physical pins) Currently I have two 140mm fans that I would like to switch out for Corsair 140 LED fans which would be hooked up the fan controller because my motherboard doesn't have enough fan headers. Is there any way to prevent the LEDs on the fans from dimming when I lower the speed? Sorry this is my first post and if there is anything wrong with where I posted and the format, just tell me and I'll fix it

Randomly, my keyboard will stop the lighting sequence, ex. Rainbow, type lighting, and will freeze at a certain color. I can fix it by clicking on Corsair's Icue software and it will return to normal. However, in Icue, it says the stored profile does not match the one saved to ICUE and it tells me I need to save the profile. Whenever I do that, it deletes whatever profile I have and I need to remake it.

Howdy folks, so I just got a nice case upgrade from my solid black fractal design r4 to an msi gungnir 110. This new case has come with an LED SW front panel header but I can't find anywhere as to where to plug it in on my mobo (MSI X570 A PRO) Any ideas??
