Hey everyone, I'm encountering some frustrating performance problems while playing Fortnite on my PC, and I'm hoping to get some expert advice on how to resolve them. My PC specs are as follows (please refer to the attached screenshots for details): CPU: [IN THE SCREENSHOT] GPU: [IN THE SCREENSHOTl] RAM: [SS] Storage: [SS] OS: [Windows 10 Pro] The issue I'm facing is persistent freezing and lagging during gameplay. I've tried optimizing the game using Nvidia GeForce Experience and have also run Hone for optimization, but the problems still persist. I'd like to emphasize that I'm not looking to upgrade or change my PC components at this point. I'm hoping to find a solution that can improve the performance without such drastic measures. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any suggestions on settings adjustments, driver updates, or other software tweaks that might help alleviate these problems, I would greatly appreciate your insights and recommendations. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

My friend just got themself a brand new PC, not pre-built one from some company but it was built by store employee 32 gb ram ddr4 from corsair samsung EVO ssd (2 tb) intel core i9 10900 (cooled by Noctua NH-U12S Chromax Black) ASUS TUF GAMING H470-PRO no vidya at the moment, but it was planned and at the moment is not important... or is it? The issue is, pc just started to freeze randomly. To the point when you can't do anything for a second or two. Temperatures are fine, even under some load (cinebench, furmark), but freezes persist even after fresh windows install. Windows version is 20H2. All drivers were downloaded from official sources (doesn't matter since the issue PERSISTS after fresh OS install), SSD check didn't show anything bad. What can we do and check before they send PC back to the store? Without opening the case (i'm cities away, and my friend is afraid of touching anything).

I recently purchased a new GPU (EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3, unfortunately from a scalper for around 1300 Freedom bucks) and I have a weird issue. When playing a game like Forza Horizon 5 the game sometimes stutters. When playing and driving around the game randomly drops FPS for about a second or so and then gets back to the maximum framerate. At the same time, the GPU usage drops to about 70%. The temperature looks to be no issue, GPU stays around 70-78 degrees. What I thought about is that the PSU can't provide that much power when the game needs to load new assets and drops the power to the GPU, but I honestly can't tell even from the graphs. The GPU at max pulls about 300W, the 5600X pulls max around 80W so the 650W PSU seems to be alright for the task even though I probably should get a better one. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

aight so i got this dell g5 5587 2 years ago, it has been working fine to begin with , i mean it did hit 100c on the cpu but after undervolting it worked p e r f e c t l y. now around a year ago i began noticing some issues: 1. i cant hit the fps i used to hit regardless of the fps drops. 2. my gpu clock started dropping, which caused fps drops to like 20 or 30 my cpu clock was still working fine tho. i removed the temp limit from the gpu because thats what caused the throttles but now my cpu throttles all the time. the cpu clock drops from 3400 to around 1800 all the time, it never is 3400 for more then 2 minutes when gaming.. the weird thing is my gpu doesnt even get that hot... and it still throttles with the temp limit. also i seem to throttle without even having insanely high temps , like i can be on 85c which i know is high but isnt as high as 100c, and still throttle or not run games at a normal fps. a few examples gta v: used to run it at around 90 fps if i remember correctly , at high res with 0 fps drops or lags, now the max i hit is 60 and the fps is dropping to 40 every 2 seconds , and it stays 40. csgo: i cant run the game at normal fps for more then 1 minute, it keeps going to 100 or 120 instead 300. valorant: i keep getting fps drops to 90. watchdogs 2: used to run it smooth but now i cant run it for more then 40-50 fps. ( i can someone help me??? getting a $1500 laptop that doesnt even work well is so frustrating.. laptop is undervolted btw.( using throttle stop)

I recently updated my windows version to 21H1 as I had an outdated version (1909 I think) before. Around 2 months ago I wanted to update to 20H2 but when I did, there was appearing this weird bug where when I booted my PC everything started lagging continuously. The screen and also the sound froze every few seconds and it wouldn't stop untill I restarted my PC. And when I did that, the rebooting process took like 10 minutes and then the PC would crash in a blue screen. So I went back to the older version and thought I'd wait till the new 21H1 drops and then I'll update. Well guess what... The bug was not patched in 21H1 but I don't want go back since 1909 is outdated. https://youtu.be/jlqBxAtsx2E This is a link to a youtube video where it shows the bug (dont get irritated by the looks of the mouse cursors, I changed them). information of my PC: Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz RAM 16,0 GB Edition Windows 10 Home Version 21H1 Build 19043.985 Let me know if you need something else to help me. Thanks.

Hi everyone! Recently I launched furmark stress test 1280×720 0x MSAA for 20 minutes. I noticed that I have one lag on 35 second of my test and after this everything was OK. Is it normal? Should I worry about this?

1 week ago i was playing battlefield 1 with my friend on a conquest match, It was working fine until a frame drop occured and was getting bad fps then. I launched forza horizon 4 then and it cant even get past the loading screen and even if it did i was getting huge fps drop like freezing for 1 or 2 seconds then running on 60 fps and this keep goin on. I tried restarting the pc and it told me to enter wifi password again as there were some network changes occured since last restart. I entered the password again and it kept showing the same error. So i restarted again and i was able to connect but the frame drops were still there. I installed an old version of windows but still there were frame drops even in crew 2 where i never experienced a fps problem. Someone kindly respond.... Hello Guys, can you help me with this problem?: I bought a new GPU (RTX 2070 Super 8GB) and in most games it's working fine. But when I play e.g. COD: Modern Warfare with mostly max Graphics settings on 1080p (which is the only game I'm getting ~100% CPU usage), my graphics card VRAM is nearly 8/8GB used and I'm getting lags and framedrops with around 70fps. In other games I'm also not getting the fps I thought this GPU can deliver. In COD it's showing: CPU: 90-100% GPU: 90+% VRAM, ~70° C / 158° F RAM: 80% My specs: MB ASUS H110M-PLUS micro-ATX CPU Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @3.6GHz 4 Cores GPU GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB VRAM XLR8 OC RAM 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Screens 1xFHD 60Hz, 1xUHD 60Hz Power supply 650W I will upgrade my RAM to 16 or 24GB, but should I upgrade my CPU too? Is my CPU bottlenecking my GPU? And why is my GPU In the startscreen already 7/8GB used?? Thank you for answering!

Hey guys, I have a little problem with my computer and hope someone can help me, since a few days I realized that my computer is stuttering even during idle after a usage of about 1-2 hours. Also my sound is distorted and my mouse stutters a bit. Feels like I would call it "micro-lags". I really hope someone can help me. Taskmanager doesn't show any suspicious utilization on cpu or RAM during these lags.

So i have a decent pc (amd fx 8350, 16g of ram, gtx980ti, Asus sabertooth MB). But lately 1/2 year or so my pc starts lagging horribly after being up for 2 hours or more. I mean unmanegably slow; The mouse randomly gets stuck (stutter but not freezing), videos are running intermittently slow (after about a minute it stutters and lags and then goes back to normal just to start the cycle again in a minute). Even in games I have massive dps drops every minute from 70ish to 0 for a second and then it comes back to normal. When it happens only hard reset can make it go away. I've tried running scan for viruses (Kaspersky & malwarebytes) - all clean and tidy. Complete disassemble of pc for cleaning and maintenance including applying new thermal paste on CPU. Swaped a different gpu (amd 7970) and installed drivers with DDU, both on amd and on the nvidia card. Still the same. And then, I did a complete format reinstall of OS after I swapped dual channel ram sticks in the MB trey. Nothing helped. I have a Samsung was with no paging file (I had one but I still had the problem for months). Ram test was fine. I'm loosing my ABSOLUTE shit here guys :-( Any suggestions as to why it happens and what I can do about it?

Hello. I finally built my (almost) fan less PC. The purpose was everyday computing and not gaming or anything like that. Some of the parts will appear mismatched (i.e. Z270 motherboard for a non over clockable CPU or a 1050ti for basic computing) but I already had these parts. Now the problem is the PC is laggy. For example when I am in a complex website, the browser hangs for 5-10 seconds while scrolling and simple things like opening the recycle bin takes ages after clicking on it. Funny thing is I upgraded from a 10 year old PC with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 and had a smoother experience with that PC. I think the Pentium G4560 is the culprit but I would like a second opinion before I buy a new CPU. Also, if the CPU is the issue what would be a good replacement? An i5 7600k or an i7 7700t? Or something else? PC Configuration: CPU: Pentium 4560 Cooler: Thermalright Le Grand Macho (Fanless) Motherboard: Asrock Z270 Gaming K6 GPU: 1050ti Kalm X PSU: Seasonic 520 watt Fanless Ram: Hyperx Fury 16GB (2800 Mhz, CL14) Case: Fractal Design Define R5. Storage: Samsung 840 PRO 512 GB OS: Windows 10 PRO

I`ve got a gaming laptop, it should be able to play Bf4 quite well GTX 950m 12gb Ram 256GB SSD I5 6200U but after some times it lags heavily and then it gets back up again any suggestions why, it is not cpu overheating as it boost all the time and doesn't throttle i will try to post more info if requested.

Whilst dragging the google chrome window between anywhere on a single monitor or across my two monitors it lags horrible and stutters. I have a 980Ti, 6700k, 32gb of ram. It happens with no intensive apps running and just one window. I am pretty sure chrome is on my SSD and if not is on my fast HDD's in raid 0 for added speed. I tried googling a google issue but google wouldn't google a googled answer...... aka, found nothing. I tried using chromium because that is a much lighter version. Anyways, if anybody knows how to fix that, it would be awesome. I figure it would be a good idea to post my addons: AdBlock App Launcher for drive Authy Authy chrome extension better tv chrome remote desktop hide most visited pages reloaded speedtest by ookla teamviewer (yes, I know, redundant) webroot filtering extension

Hello, for almost half a year now I am suffering from various Problems of my pc. Since I have updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (after my SSD and HDD both died) my gpu is Performing way worse than usual. In games where I used to get consistent 180+ FPS, I am now having unstable FPS that varies between 90 - 180 I have literally tried everything, from changing Windows and AMD Settings (Game Settings, power saving Settings) to clompletely uninstalling Microsofts applications. I have already contacted the manufacturer of my gpu, but even they don't know what to do anymore. And this is sadly not even my only Problem. Since today my pc also seems to crash while playing games. I've had 2 Bluescreens and 1 blackscreen with the gpu fans spinning at max so far. I have already searched for damaged data with cmd; in fact Windows has found damaged files and repaired them, but it didn't help. I have checked if my GPU or my CPU are overheating but they are both running below 80°C (75°C at max) I really don't know what to do anymore... I am having These Problems for a Long time already, sometimes they're gone and from one to the other day they just come back. I have already bought a new PSU (850W Seasonic Gold) but that didn't change anything either. I already had similiar Problems with my old GPU, which was a RX 480 8GB, if that plays a role. I hope someone can help me with my Problem but I have honestly lost my hope to have a working pc. Specs: GPU: RX Vega 56 OC (msi) CPU: i7 - 6700 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 DDR3 RAM: Corsair Vengeance (1600Mhz) 4GBx4 PSU: Seasonic Gold 850W

Hello, I bought Fifa 19 about 2 weeks ago and I have serious problem. I´m having such a huge lags and the game isn´t that playable, as the PS4 PRO promised. I tried to change some power settings, screen settings etc. Then I changed various monitors ant TV´s and the result is still the same. The game looks like 30 fps on full HD, and in online it´s even worse.... The players movement is so laggy.I´m so sad about that ... This problem still remains. And I don´t think, that the problem is in the console, beacause other games run just perfectly. And yeah, I also tried to rebuild database in safe mode.... Thank you for some tips Have a nice day Andy

Hi! My pc has been underpreforming lately and I don't know what the problem is. I feel like I've tried everything. Basicly when I'm playing games, my CPU is preforming at 100% in the taskmanager and it is noticeable ingame too. Before I got this lag I used to have around 130 fps when playing Mordhau. Now I can barely hit 80 fps (Mordhau isn't the only game with fps drop). I've done everything in this article https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/easy-to-fix-computer-lagging-issues-step-by-step/ and reset my BIOS setting but the problem is still there. Any advice about how to get rid of this lag would be greatly appresiated! Thank you very much!
