A few weeks ago I bought a new Corsair K70 LUX RGB. I am completely in love with all the features of this keyboard, but there is one little thing that is concerning me. The RGB LEDs look very pretty, but every once in a while, a random LED decides to blink off or to a different colour. I don't know if this is a problem that is occurring with other keyboards too, or that I have a malfunctioning keyboard. Could somebody help me out? In the attached video you can see that the 'P' key blinks green for a very short moment. It is around the 6th second. Toetsenbord bug.mp4

I spilt recently spilt a drink on my k70 rub and I cleaned up the keycaps and all around the switches that were affected. A few keys are sticky and I have tried cleaning the a qtip and alcohol but the stickiness came back. I was wondering how to open the switches to lubricate the components. I know there are two small tabs on the side of each switch but I have never done this before and was wondering if the rgb switch with the clear housing is any different from a regular cherry switch. Thanks

When booting up my pc the K70 will not be recognised by CUE, as a result it will not light up, I can un-plug the keyboard and plug it back in and CUE will recognise it and the lights will show, but I don't want to do this every time I open my pc. I have tried re-installing drivers and that showed no difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I recently got my hands on the Corsair K70 RGB and installed the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) to control the lighting. But every time I reboot my PC, I get this message (it's in Norwegian, but the file might be the same in all languages) about running HsMgr.exe: I must run it to be able to use CUE, otherwise it will just show it's stock colors. Does this occur for anyone else?

I am having a bit of a problem with my 1 year old K70 RGB. Whenever I press the "P" key, it sometimes double, triple, or even quadruple presses. I have Cherry MX Reds, and this only happens when I press the key to exactly the actuation point. No other key does this. It looks like a normal held down keypress, but without the delay. Would this be grounds for sending it in for repair or is there another fix? It's really just a minor annoyance, but it'd be nice to not have to be careful about every "P" keystroke. Edit: It appears as though the "O" key sometimes does this as well but it happens less often and only double presses

Is it just me or is Corsair's K70 RGB (Cherry MX - Red) out of stock everywhere?! I'm in Canada so it usually sells for $220.00. I bought it on NCIX and it's been out of stock for weeks, and the only place I can find it is on Newegg (Canadian version) for $340.00!! Did Corsair's factory explode or a shipping boat sink? It's been a month and I just want to use my keyboard already.... Thanks guys

Hi there, This month i'm going to retire my old keyboard and mouse since my usual gameplay shifted more towards FPS games. I have allready decided on the mouse. Now the keyboard is where i have mu concerns, like allways, i saw linus vídeo on the Corsair k70 RGB and because is a 1 year old vídeo i went to Corsair forums to check if the software bugs persist. I couldn't find anything, so i ask here the community if the inicial problems with the k70 are fixed, and if it is really the best keyboard to have right now. The doubt i have about buying the k70 is because it hasn't my native language layout, but the gskill on the other hand has. The problem with the gskill is that has alot of bugs on the software, and beeing their first keyboard, o tend to be cautious on jumping their bandwaggon. So, if anyone could help me on the issue... Tks, everyone, and tks linus. Cumpz

Hello there, I plan on purchasing myself a new keyboard. My CM Devastator keyboard is probably worth a penny. Before someone argues "CORZAIR IZ 4 NUBZ RAZER MAZTER RAZE," CAN YOUR BLACKWIDOW DO THIS? I actually don't know, but my point is you're not convincing me to get a Blackwidow or anything else. Honestly I'm just going RGB for whenever I get bored and I want to stare into my Pac-Man keyboard before entering my mental trance that activates my 6th sense in CS:GO. If you want to point out something major like "the K70 has the Corsair Gaming logo which means it should burn in my toaster" or "that plastic will break 186 lunar eclipses before brushed aluminum," be my guest, and thanks for voting, if you didn't come here to do nothing.

Hi!, I just recieved my K70 RGB Mx Brown but I'm thinking of exchanging it for a K95 RGB because I came up with a lot of uses for macros, but please let me know if I'm dreaming, or if these are really useful. Uses: 1. Sleep mode button 2. Launching netflix in microsoft edge(so that I can watch in 1080p) 3. Emoticons 4. Cut/Copy/Paste/insert link(Google Docs) 5. Taskmanager 6. Soundswitch 7. Profile Switching Would you pay the extra cost for these macros? Btw, I've gotten offers on both the K70 RGB and K95 RGB for quite a lot less than they originally are. Reference: Corsair Strafe(non rgb): 1250kr K70rgb: 1290kr (usually 1750kr) K95rgb: 1635kr (Usually 2090kr) So is it worth it? Will I use them?

So, the time has come. I've been using this keyboard for just over a month, and I have to say it is quite the centerpiece of my desk. Coming from the rubber dome switches on my old Logitech G110, this was a huge improvement. But can I justify the $169.99 price tag? That depends on what you're looking for in a keyboard, and how much you care about some of the features the K70 boasts. Lets go over the pros and cons. Pros: Genuine Cherry MX Brown switches. Great for typing, good for gaming. We'll go over the switches in more detail later. Solid brushed aluminum build. Looks gorgeous, when it's not dirty. Comes with a 'rubberized' wrist rest. Nice inclusion. Adjustable feet at both the front and the back of the keyboard. Lighting is beautiful. The clear switches spread the light evenly between keys. Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) has come a long way. There are now basic settings for lighting like ripples, type lighting and a rainbow wave. Media controls. I refuse to use a keyboard without them after my Logitech G110, so this was a big one for me. Braided cable. Cons: CUE is a long way from perfect. I can get it to work with Steam about 50% of the time, and the other half of the time it crashes and I'm stuck with a static rainbow wave. Only way to fix is to reconnect the keyboard or restart the computer. Custom lighting is still not very intuitive, and there is still a large learning curve. Stability is the largest issue that needs fixing, the crashes are extremely annoying as they also slow down the launch of many games. Braided cable is super thick and very stiff. Does not want to stay where you put it, even after bending. Brightness control and Windows lock buttons participate in foreground lighting, but remain white no matter what the background lighting color is set to. 'Rubberized' wrist rest is not very rubberized. I was expecting a very soft rubber, like you would find on a bike's handlebars. Instead, it is like a soft touch plastic. Bit disappointed here. As I'm sure you've heard, there really aren't 16.8 million colors per key. That is a con, but not a huge one. As long as the animations are relatively fast, you won't be able to notice any 'blocky' color change. Brown's are a lot louder than I thought they'd be. I'd like to talk about the MX Brown switches for a minute as well. Coming from rubber dome, there was a pretty steep learning curve just getting used to these switches. There is a lot more key travel than with the rubber dome, and they make a lot of noise. This is a definite downside. The actuation itself is very quiet, but the keys are extremely loud when they bottom out. Louder than I'd expected. Not a huge deal, but I record and do a lot of night gaming in a small house with a lot of sleeping people, so it can get in the way sometimes. They are very snappy though, never had a problem with a key registering my stroke, minus when I don't get above the actuation point. Happy with them overall. Conclusion: When I found this K70 in stock at Best Buy, I had no hesitation and jumped on it immediately. I'm very happy with this keyboard, though it has it's flaws. The RGB lighting is kickass, as is the beautiful brushed aluminum finish just makes this keyboard gorgeous. I'm sure a lot of you were expecting hate for the new Corsair logo, but I honestly don't dislike it enough to add it to the cons. It's really not that bad. It is unfortunate that CUE is in the state that it is, as it's the only major problem I have with the K70. As an owner of the Corsair M65 RGB (review) and the K70 RGB, CUE is pretty important. Hopefully Corsair can tidy it up and improve stability in the near future. Final rating: Build Quality: 9/10 Software: 6/10 Features: 9/10 OVERALL: 8/10

Hey guys! I'm planning a build soon, and it turns out that the theme is going to be black and blue (total accident, lol). To go with this build, I'd like a mechanical keyboard, preferably with blue LED backlights. The only problem is that any blue LED keyboards I've seen online usually have Cherry MX blues, which is a deal breaker as I believe the noise from MX blues would drive my girlfriend nuts. Because of this, I'm looking for a Cherry MX red style mechanical key type - relatively quiet, light, and without a tactile bump (personal preference). Do any of you know any keyboards that would suit my needs? As far as style preferences go, I really like the look of both the Corsair K70 RGB (I would get that, but it's a bit expensive and I would most likely not use the all of the cool LED effects, so it'd be a bit of a waste) and the Cooler Master Quick Fire Ultimate (Perfect, except for the Cherry MX blues and lack of a wrist-rest. But I can live without the wrist rest). Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hey all! I have been having a couple of issues with my Corsair Gaming K70 RGB. I think there is something wrong with the lighting controller. My specs are stated my signature, but will highlight the most important stuff here. 64-bit Windows 8.1 MSI JasmineR Motherboard (stock AMD) AMD A8 6500 I will post some images below. Can anyone give me an idea to what is going on, and how to fix it? Is RMA the best option? https://goo.gl/photos/o16us4YWDkmmwAey6

Ok, today I finaly got my Corsair K70 RGB Crerry MX brown and Corsair Sabre RGB laser mouse. To start vorging, I had to reinstall windows, bcause apears it has some issues with Logitech software. So I reinstalled windows. Corsair mouse and keybord works fine now. But I use Logitech K400r wireless keyboard then I'm using my 40" TV as a monitor. So my windows are fresh now. Then I plug Logitech wireless dongle and restart PC my Corsair keyboard and mouse stops working at all. To start using corsair keyboard I have to turn of PC completely, pull out wireless dongle and start PC again. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

Hiyo, I just recently received my K70 RGB (Browns) along with a couple other peripherals and an 840 EVO, and I've been messing around with the Corsair Utility all day trying to make some creative and interesting Modes, Profiles and Lighting Effects for both, with some pleasing success. But I just though to make a Profile illuminating the most commonly used keys in different game genres, and it's been a while since I've played an MMO, and I've very scarcely played RTSs and MOBAs, with most of my time occupied with FPSs. So I've already made a Mode for FPSs, and I'd like some help on what keys are most commonly used in these types of games: RTS MOBA MMO RPG An image for each would be extremely helpful, but listed keys are still quite useful. If I've forgotten a popular game genre that has a particular key layout I'd like it if you were to say so in a comment. I've also noticed that there is not a thread already about custom Profiles that LTT members use, and I have additionally thought of making one for people to share the ones they use. Cheers!

Idk about any of you, but I've waited since late November to get a K70 RGB with MX brown switches, and they're in stock right now! Bestbuy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-k70-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-black/9496277.p?id=1219418203596&skuId=9496277 I've ordered mine and I'm very excited to recieve it. If you're like me and have been waiting, now's the chance!

Or any keyboard around 170 for that matter. I've wanted the K70 RGB but I've repeatedly heard that they software sucks and lights don't work etc. However, i'm hesitant on the Das pro 4 because it doesn't have backlighting. Not going to get ducky because they are always out of stock.

Hi, I ordered my Corsair K70 RGB with Blue Switches in late September after waiting a year for them to be released. Upon recieving the keyboard (which was my first mechanical), I was extremely happy with the quality. However, as you may know, the K70's with the blue switches have some issues with mushiness over time, so much so that Corsair has discontinued them. I am currently seeking for a new replacement for this keyboard as my keys have become hard to press. Would anyone have any recommendations to a replacement? I like lights and flashy features of keyboards. Thank you!

The title says it all boyz, which one would be better to get? Cherry MX Blues or Razer Greens? I'm weighing these switches on 2 keyboards that I'm keen on getting, which are the Corsair K70 RGB (Mx Blues) and Blackwidow Chroma (Razer Greens). I would like to know the consumer feedback of both these products before making my choice. Any help is appreciated, thanks. PS: I'm leaning more towards the Blackwidow Chroma right now due to it's simplistic user-friendly software and vibrant looks, but after hearing the issues with the Razer Green switches' durability, I'm somewhat worried. (Either keyboard would be great to me nonetheless)
