Everyday I use both Samsung’s Wireless Trio charger together with its 25W Super Fast charger (with an S21), and I also use Apple’s 20W charger to charge my 11” M1 iPad Pro. Sadly, the iPad just refuses to work with Samsung’s charger. It shows its charging and instantly disconnects, only to instantly reconnect, and the cycle continues endlessly. Fun fact, the iPad works just well with Samsung’s 15W adaptive charger. But sadly, that charger powers my Wireless Trio so slowly that its not even worth it. So, what charger would you recommend me to power both of my devices? I know GaN is coming strong this year but I simply don’t trust ugreen and Amazon’s 100W charger looks a bit too big. if it is able to power both devices at once it would be a BIG win.

I'm a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student who is looking to buy a secondary device. I'm extremely sorry if this is the wrong place, it's my first time using the forums. I need it to be lightweight and portable since I want it to largely replace my laptop (a huge heavy gaming laptop). My budget is about 75,000 INR (~1000 USD) and I hope to buy the device mid-March and I need to have the device before the End of March. I'm planning on buying an 11-inch M1 iPad Pro 128 Gb version with an Apple Pencil, I need to know if it makes sense for me. My main uses are: Running Citrix Workspace, and occasionally code for my current internship Almost all of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams as well I want to get into 3D modelling (not CAD) and freelance a little in that field. I used to draw/sketch a lot, I want to get into it again, obviously digitally in this case (not a necessity) A second display/device to multi-task with college projects and internship at the same time. (A second monitor might work but I don't have the space for it on my desk) I do CAD modelling on my laptop and it's not something I intend to do on the other device, I'd love to view CAD Models on it though. The portability is an important factor since my current laptop and charger are almost 3.5 Kg and I've been avoiding work since it's a pain to carry it. As I asked before, I honestly need to know if it even makes sense to buy this. I'm not sure if it's the best. I use tech for a long time so whatever the device, I intended for it to work for at least 6ish years, and this is my second tech purchase with my own money so I'm extra careful (learning the importance of money) Main Concerns: Is the Samsung Tab a better option? I do not have any other iOS devices, not sure if that will cause an issue. Is a thin and light laptop a better option? (I'm concerned about their power in my budget) I have a Bluetooth keyboard to use it at my home but I will need to spend extra for keyboard case at some point in the future. I will start travelling a little and need to use it outside my house from April End. Am I not making the best decision? Edit: I'm sorry if it looks like I'm being extra stupid or if I'm not making sense. I'm extremely confused and on a limited budget since I'm paying for this and not my parents.

Can a iPad Pro M1 run Windows 10? If not it'll feel like waste of power & money. Linus Should make a video on this on LTT.

Hi guys, thank you for the time to respond to this topic. Right now, I'm trying to go to university to study Multimedia and in this course I will have programming classes, photo editing and graphic design... On the other side, I would like to start a side job where I'm starting to create images and drawings to sell in a near future. I was wondering if the MacBook pro 2021 seems the perfect solution or a drawing tablet or an iPad pro 2021? Thank you all in advance!

The new iPad Pro Magic Keyboard case makes the iPad into a laptop. And it's NOT the apocalypse... very confusing. But does a keyboard + trackpad mean you should get this instead of a "real" laptop? Buy Apple iPad Pro: https://geni.us/UcZFww Buy Apple iPad Pro Magic Keyboard: https://geni.us/7nS4OQ2

so get this ... an iPad Pro is better than a computer because?! it has a screen you can write on and it's faster than some laptops what the fuck --- I'm not saying the iPad PRO isn't powerful, I'm not saying the touch screen isn't useful but for the price of one you could very well get a better laptop?!? their top of the line config can go over 1000$ without accessories http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro/12.9-inch-display-256gb-silver-wifi-cellular

If you haven't used it please don't comment. For anyone who has used it, how has your experience been? I've been trying to sell my SP3 for a while because of all the random glitches and driver issues, and I'm looking to replace it with the base 32gb iPad Pro 9.7" (that I'll buy used for around $300) and an Apple Pencil (that I'll also used around $80). I know that the iPad is "less" powerful than the SP3 since one is a full desktop experiece yadda yadda, but A) I don't need that, and B) that's part of the problem -- Windows on a touch screen is really just shit.

I'm curious what the results would be if Stardock releases "Ashes of the Singularity" (Ashes of the Benchmark as Linus calls it) for iOS. I hope Linus will review the new iPad Pro but he maybe have to wait for iOS 11 which will bring more functionality like a Finder app, better multitasking, etc. Sources: 9to5 Mac and Bare Feats But one should remember that these are just synthetic benchmarks more often, they're not true representations of real world performance. But then again, this is not the first time a mobile SoC outperformed a desktop processor on a synthetic benchmark. The A9 chip used by the iPhone 6s outperformed an Intel Xeon in Geekbench too. I wouldn't call this fake news but I won't necessarily say that the new iPad Pro is overall faster than the MacBook Pro. It's probably because iOS is still way lighter than macOS. Another reason why the iPad Pro seemed faster is that it's already rocking their new file system "APFS" while macOS Sierra is still using HFS+ by default and Mac users must wait until macOS High Sierra to use APFS. But Intel should probably get worried. I'm pretty sure deep down in Apple's R&D labs, Craig Federighi and Jony Ive are probably having prototypes of a MacBook Pro running on an ARM SoC instead of Intel. They once made Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard to run both on Power PC and Intel chips, maybe they're also making a macOS that can run on both Intel and their Ax series SoCs. Hey @LinusTech, if you ever decide to review the iPad Pro, I have a test idea. Have the 10.5 iPad Pro and the MacBook Pro export the same 4K and 1080p/60fps footage via iMovie.

Hi! I'm a second year university student and I'm looking to buy an Iphone Xs Max (to upgrade from a bad Huawei) and an Ipad Pro 3rd generation (for the school year and to upgrade from a bad Dell laptop). I started researching online and I found out that the new Iphone will be announced in 12.9 and the new Ipad Pro will be announced at 30.10. I've already set-up honey in Amazon to tell me if there is any price drop but it would be very helpful to speak to someone who really knows these things. So, when do you think is the best time to buy these devices? Thanks!!

Look, I'm no hardware engineer or software optimisation engineer.... However, there is something that I have come questioning of. Is it me, or is the new iPad Pro more powerful than the base model MacBook Air? Lets think about this. The iPad Pro has hella more cores, 8 CPU cores VS 2 on the Air. Now sure, you could make the possible statement that the Air's cores are higher clocked or has more cache, so yeah, it will win in single-threaded performances.... But what about multi-core...... Surely the iPad Pro should tower over that little 2 core CPU The iPad Pro has a dedicated GPU VS the Air which has "integrated graphics". Now I don't wanna make any comparisons on how the interred graphic is better.... because 1. I don't have the time to write up how Integrated Graphics works and 2. Even at the end of the day... a dedicated GPU is better, even if its on a SOC in this case. The iPad Pro has a Neural Network Engine Chip, this is different from the T2 chip. The NNEC (as I'll call it now) can do up to Quote: "1 Trillion Calculations" and whilst the NNEC is for more specific purposes, that chip can help in certain compute tasks The iPad Pro is possibly/I think is more optimised. Think about it, the iPad Pro SOC is designed by Apple engineers so they can have a better optimisation with the OS. MacBook Air's on the other hand use Intel chips, meaning they cannot optimise the chip as much. Like I said, I'm no hardware engineer or software optimisation engineer, but I can definitely tell based of my current knowledge of CPU Clock Speed/Cores ratio that something is just off... I don't know, what do you guys think.

The iPad Pro talks a big talk, but can it REALLY replace a PC now that it has the Magic Keyboard and trackpad? We made an entire video with one to find out. Someone asked me if i could transfer their game saves from their old ipad 2 to their new ipad pro 2017 except it doesn't fully transfer the save data. I tried syncing it through icloud's backup feature but that didn't seem to do the trick. The games on the ipad are candy crush and other similar mobile games. Thanks! ?

In your opinion, do you think this is a fair criticism from Apple? Keeping in mind that a year or so ago Apple discredited the Surface line up as somewhat 'useless' and then they come out with a product EXACTLY the same. Is it going to happen again, first the beating of the Surface Book then the copying? Source Link: http://www.theverge.com/2015/11/11/9712184/apple-tim-cook-microsoft-surface-book-deluded
