I have never had issues with my GPU and is dust free - in a well ventilated case. almost had it for a year. when i play games that use a lot of my GPU i will have backscreen crashes where my pc stays on, but with a black screen and loud fans. I end up needing to force shutdown by the button. i suspected its a temp problem.. when i went to check, i noticed temps being uncomfortably high on the gpu. i clocked it at 110c in the hot spot. but i have seen it go more then that but crashes before then. are these temps normal for this card or is there a fault with the card? (temps are in Celsius) are my black screens with the pc still on to do with the card overheating when playing games? helldivers2 is the one that black screens me. never used to do it before. my friend who has a 3080 also gets these types of backscreens when playing games, and theirs was to do with their case cooling. but the wired part for me is that my card is not being starved of cool air. From the screenshot i sent, the mins and max values are the ones to look at, as the current value is just my idle video: https://youtu.be/Ur-Ni82IsjU

During this test i was watching Youtube video on 1080p and downloading a 50 GB file in background on Brave browser with 7 tabs opened at the same time. I have checked there was no background running app which can cause these temps. Laptop spec - Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58 Intel® Core™ i7-12650H 16 GB RAM RTX 3070 ti at 150 W Room temperature was around 25 degrees and laptop was placed on a table with good ventilation for air circulation. What can be the solution if this is not normal ? Laptop is 6 months old even checked vents which are not dirty at all.

Two days ago I decided to reinstall windows 10, after which problems with the processor began. At first, the voltage jumped, but this problem was solved by updating the bios. Then the problem of heating the processor was revealed. During a stress test under 100% load, the sensors show 80 degrees, and the temperature increase is very rapid, although when you touch the radiator with your hand, it is barely warm as always I planned all the solutions to the problem, installed different versions of Windows, started from a live cd, checked the temperature with all possible programs, updated all possible drivers, discussed the problem with friends, tried to solve it with them. I attach stress test graphs before the update and after the processor was not overclocked in the photo where the temperature is 55,the thermal paste was dried up and ineffective, now, with new tests, the thermal paste is new, tested for quality according to the temperature of the motherboard, it can be judged that the processor is not actually heated specs: r7 3700x gigabite 2070s 8 gb AsRock b5550m pro4 psu 700w

My System build is 2 years old and I have started facing the problem of instant temperature raise in seconds from around 37*C upto 75-80*C while using FL studio DAW. CPU frequency also keeps fluctuating from 800MHz to around 5098 MHz without overclocking. I have tried resetting the bios to default and shuffled between balanced performance and high performance mode, not of much help. What could be the reason for these problem I am facing? Is it because water coolant might have evaporated from the AIO? Please help me sort it ! Thank you !! Hi LTT Community, I updated my rig with a Core i9 12900K and it's reaching really high temperatures under load (100C). I know 12th Gen Intel CPUs are known to be toasty but I'm not sure if 100C under load is normal? Under normal use (Multiple tabs in Opera, Edge, Plex, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator) it stays well within 32-50C but playing demanding games (Hogwarts Legacy, Last of Us, Plague Tale: Requiem) or rending anything on Premiere pushes it to 100C (It also reaches 100C under stress tests like Cinebench). It doesn't go above 100C and the cooler tries to bring it down to 90C but struggles. Is this safe? Do I need to change any settings or is 100C fine for this chip? All temperature were monitored on HWMonitor. My specifications (custom build): Asus Prime Z690 Motherboard Intel Core i9 12900K darkFlash Twister DX360 360mm AIO 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz Crucial Ballistix RAM (8GBx4) Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 TI (MSI Ventus x3) Windows 11 22H2 on Samsung 990 Pro NZXT C850 80+ Gold Power Supply NZXT H710i Case All the extra fans the case comes with (Three on top, and one exhaust at the back, plus AIO + fans in the front) in performance mode in NZXT CAM The system is stable even at 100C. I haven't seen any game crashes or even shut downs, I'm just a bit worried about the temps reaching 100C and if there is something I've missed in the configuration that's causing such high temps. I also understand CPUs don't really toast themselves so easily and thermal throttle when temperatures reach so high, but I'm worried about the motherboard and other components that might suffer because of the high heat and if there is anything, apart from replacing my AIO (which I don't really have the finances for) that can bring the temps down. I also want to know if I'm just getting anxious and a 100C peak is normal for the 12900K? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Problem :- When I play games my laptop CPU temperatures reaches up to 95 degree Celsius but CPU usage is only 20 to 30 % meanwhile my GPU temperature are only reaching up to 80 to 85 degree Celsius at 40 to 50 % usage game I was playing Watch dogs 1 released in 2013 or 14. settings at ultra and getting 78 to 110 fps. image https://imgur.com/x1eCXcq I have Bought 3000$ machine ASUS STRIX SCAR 15 G532LWS My specs:- i7 10875H 8 cores 16 threads RTX 2070 SUPER 115 W (non max q) 16 GB 3200 MHz RAM 1 TB intel nvme SSD (pre installed) + 1 TB Crucial nvme SSD 300 Hz screen

Hello Guys , before I state out my situation this is my build : CPU : Ryzen 5 3500x (Stock Cooler) Mobo : Gigabyte B450m DS3H V2 Ram : Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 8GB (Will get another 8gb soon) GPU : PNY GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER XLR8 6GB GDDR6 HDD : Seagate Barracuda 1TB PSU : Aigo 550w 80+ Bronze Casing : APTECH AP-G33-06 RGB Atx (2 Stock, Fan front Intake & back Exhaust) I've build this setup just 2 weeks ago. While using normally (Browsing on Chrome/firefox) CPU shows 65c avg & upto 70c(1st 2 SS). So, I informed one of my friend he said to adjust the CPU fan speed by using Gigabyte SIV. So I used that & changed the fan profile to 'Performance' while doing lite works. And that didn't changed anything. Few days ago I started playing RDR2. My setting was 1080p optimized while playing for only 5-10m I start getting warm temp from my casing side panel as well as from the front of casing. The CPU was at 95% while emitting 90c. And GPU was at 99% with 88c. Than I used SIV and set the CPU Fan profile to 'Full Speed' & I used MSI Afterburner to set my GPU fan 100%. And nothing changed the results were CPU - 88% 88c & GPU - 93% 86c. Idk why but whenever I do some heavy task the temp gets higher. So I guess I need a cooling system? BY following basics I checked My case Airflow & it was neutral. What I'm doubting is that my case doesn't have enough room where air can flow from it. Here's the product link : https://www.techlandbd.com/aptech-ap-g33-06-rgb-gaming-case P:S: I didn't OC anything. Planning to OC my ram. My bios are all up to date. There was no issue while assembling the parts. Just by considering that everything on default is good. What should I do now? Should I add some more case fan? I was thinking of taking a CPU cooler & add a 1/2 fan for overall case cooling . Do I need to add a AIO or Air Cooler? Problem is I can't try out a method & let it go if it doesn't work. As I can't bear that much of expense! And my Budget for the cooler is from $20-50. Do Help me Out!! Any Solution/Suggestion is appreciated :)))

Recently bought the Acer Helios 300 2020 RTX 2060. Have been very pleased with its ability to render my architectural imaginations. However, ever since updating the bios gaming has been an area of concern as the 10750h constantly hits 90. The recent BIOS updates has disabled the undervolting of the chip (thx Pludervolt), but the CPU needs it to function satisfactory. Unable to rollback the BIOS and using throttlestop's Speed Shift sucks and no other way of doing it through XTU. Currently keeping it under check through windows power management feature and limiting it to 99% max usage but it tanks performance. Also before the update, Cinebench scores used to be 2.7k+ but now without the windows limitation it goes till only about 2.5k. Unable to get satisfactory results. Please help!

i have a 2 year old Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 EVGA SC ultra 6GB , and I have recently noticed that in the games that I used to play like 1 month ago and they were going to 50c now they go to 70-80c, The Forest made my gpu go up to 87c,and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 raised the card to 78c, i know that 70c are not that bad but it looks strange to me, because did not happen before, time ago i noticed that turning on vsync solves it but now its happening with vsync on or 60 fps cap, what can i do? should i repaste the card or something? Thanks

i'm helping a friend of mine to fix his laptop and make it a tiny bit faster. iv'e already factory reset it and told him to buy an ssd as his C drive to speed things up a bit. But the laptop he has (HP ProBook 450 G4 art numbr:1AA13PA) is pretty old and is having thermal issues which hasnt been a issue longterm, but has started to become one recently. Since he dosent live in the same country as I do I can't go over to him and help him buy stuff and he dosent have as much experince with computers. So he bought a thermal paste iv'e never really heard about before " I-tek thermal grease" and I couldn't find any site on it except one indian ebay listing. And I was wondering what the thermal conductivity is and if it's a good option at all. I can ask him to return it and get for example noctua but I don't wanna cause any inconveniences so it's better if I ask the pc gods of the internet first. Should he return it and buy a known brand, or wing it? off topic: he does alot of rendering and 3d work so thermals is something that is quite important that he stays as cool as possible since it a laptop and he can have renders going for hours and needs every single bit of juice he can get.

Hey guys, I am having an weird problem with my Ps4pro heating. Let’s get this out of way first since will be getting this first reply. I have already reapplied the thermal solution and cleaned the fan. so here is my problem, when I am playing less demanding games like fifa20 the console gets hot when I play a match where it doesn’t have to process that much graphics but then when I jump into a more graphics oriented section it suddenly ramp up the fans and shuts down. while playing Yakuza 0 the console get very hot and it seems that fans don’t get ramp up anytime but the console doesn’t shut down although it is getting hotter than playing FIFA. and to make it more weird very demanding games like god of war and Spider-Man runs very fine and cooler than FIFA as it’s running fans all the time. i don’t know what’s causing this problem, if anybody knows what’s happening please let me know.

Hi, so I have the Phantom Gaming 4 mobo with a Ryzen 7 3700X and I had a question regarding the PBO settings. Currently it's set to "auto" not enabled. I'm confused by this, does this mean depending on the load, PBO will be enabled automatically? Or should I manually set it to "Enable"?One more thing, currently if it's not enabled, I'll not enable it until I get a good cooler. I'm using the wraith prism cooler and I'm seeing peaks between 85-90°C and average of 70 to 75°C under full load. And the frequency hits to 4.05GHz(all cores simultaneously) at 1.41V. I've recorded these values using Ryzen Master.

I have a gaming build which is close to four years old now (built it in 2016). Specs: CPU - Intel i7 6700k @ 4GHz. Turbo upto 4.2 GHz (no overclocking) GPU - Zotac GTX 970 (no overclocking) CPU Cooler - H100i GTX Motherboard - Asus E3 Pro Gaming v5 BIOS version - 2606 Case - Corsair C70 Vengeance (lots of openings for airflow) Fans - 5 [2 intake and 3 (2 AIO radiator+1 rear) for exhaust ] Of late, I observed quite high idle temps on my CPU (close to 60c with random spikes up to 85c), while gaming (Arkham Knight, GTA V, Alien Isolation) it would shoot up to 90c and occasionally hit 100c (never had an automatic shut down though). I hadn't replaced the stock thermal paste which came with the H100i GTX in all these years. So the first thing I did was replace the stock thermal paste with the Arctic MX-4 2019 edition and for good measure cleaned out the case, air filters, fans and the radiator fins. I even replaced the stock thermal paste on the GPU with the Arctic. Although my idle temps have come down from 60c to hovering around the 45c-50c mark (I think this is high for idle), I can still see spikes of up to 85c. Playing Batman Arkham Knight on Ultra ( with PhysX turned on) yields sustained temps of 85c-87c with spikes of up to 100c on the CPU and the GPU stays close to 80c but never exceeds it. Running even a simple stress test such as the CPU-Z bench for 10 mins gives sustained temps of 95c-100c at 100% load. I didn't bother with Prime95. Motherboard temp is at 41c. I live in India where the climate is warm. The ambient temperature is usually around 30c in the monsoons and can even hit 40c in summers (I have an air conditioner in the room but I don't run it all day long). Could this be a contributing factor? At first, I thought I had botched the thermal paste application but since then I have cleaned and re-applied the same (dot method) at least 6 times with the same high temps. The cooler pump is working fine and so are all the fans. I am at my wits end as to how to proceed with this. I have ordered the Noctua NT-H1 as a back-up because the Arctic is only good for two-three more applications. I would like to hear some suggestions from you guys. Does the i7-6700K usually run at high temps? Is the Arctic MX-4 any good or should I use the Noctua NT-H1? Should I opt for air cooling (Noctua NH D15) instead of AIO? (getting the CPU block to mount is a bitch due to the thick tubes) P.S. I know, too many questions. Apologies!

About to pull the trigger and build my first gaming pc. Was going to start off with one Sapphire Vapor-x R9 290, and then in the future will look to adding another one for crossfire. Will be using a AS Rock Extreme6 motherboard and Corsair 600t, I've read that R9 290's can be faced with some cooling issues and so was wondering whether it would be ok or not? Thanks so much. Parts list if it helps, http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/CalebG97/saved/HBqrxr
