  3. So... this is what I did I bought the same ram 4x4gb same speed same size same timing, Im just gonna stick with 16gb of ram, 16gb is enough to run after effects, thanks for the help @cr8tor @BTGbullseye

Yow, guys Im back, I didnt yet bought ram, but quick question... what If I ran 4gb at A1 slot and 4gb as well at B1.... and I will run 8gb of ram in A2 and another 8gb of ram on B2.. do I still get dual channel? @BTGbullseye @cr8tor currently in mind is I will buy 4x4gb and settle with 16gb but if 4x2gb and 8x2gb method work for dual channel then I would go for that
