so i was curious, i haven't played demanding games with my old gtx 950, then i went and test it out to play gta v then i find out i keep seeing these strange black dots when only flying above gta v ocean. but i dont see it anywhere else. are these just like black flying dust/particles or artifacts? dots.mp4

Hey everyone perhaps someone could help me with an issue I've been having. My computer won't boot to windows 10 with two GPU's installed. I recently dusted the case out and switched to a better motherboard and processor. Currently running an Evga X58 SLI- LE mobo, a Intel Xeon X5650 six core processor, Kraken X31, 24gb of Corsair DDR3 RAM, two GTX950 SSC, Corsair CX750M PSU, one SSD, and one 2 terabyte HDD, I've done a little diagnosis so far. Started with disconnecting everything except one card in the X16 slot, the ssd (operating system files only) and my AIO connections, and one stick of known good ram; that booted up with no problems. Next I installed my second gpu into the next available X8 slot. It would open up the bios and go through the boot process but would then crash and restart the process. I then un-installed the known good GPU and installed the second GPU into the X16 slot and that booted fine. Where should I look next?

What are the best options to overclock Asus GTX 950 2GB. Realized screen red spots when in GTA V when boosting GPU to 1500 MHz. Any other best options?

my wallet doesnt allow me to be that tech savvy , so any of u guys knowns if this 2 year tower will run borderlands 3? im thinking of changing to a new card and a new cpu but not that sure if my power supply and motherboard will support the recommended specs for bl3 Ryzen 3 1300x b350 tomahawk msi 16gb ddr4 2800mhz ballistix gtx 950 2gb evga 240gb ssd kingston 500 hdd barracuda 7200 rpm corsair cx 430 ****************************** Im thinking on a new gtx 1060 or 1660 for the future and a new ryzen 5 2600x or 3600, or even a 3600x just to avoid having to upgrade in a while but i dont think the board support it since i cant find info about it online, as long as i can play bl3, mk11 and maybe shadow of the tomb raider for the moment ill be happy but not my wallet xd

Hello everybody! Hope you all have a good day in your lives. This build will be my first build so Im a bit excited to build it lol. Its a budget build, all new except the GPU. Which I will look for a used 950. Now I had plans for a gt1030 instead then I skipped it and said I wanted to go for the 1050ti, doe im finding some good prices for used 950 around 120-140$. Currently im living in Turkey and the prices here are way up. Brand new 950 goes a thick lower then the 1050ti which is a bit funny aswell. So the goal here in this build is to play CS:GO / PUBG which the gpu is enough. 2GB of VRAM doe but it will do. Now the prices in April was 550$ for this build. Now its 630-650$ and the prices goes up every single day. Dollar is literally killing us. Like what should I be careful with when buying or maybe look if it works properly or so. 2) Can I stream with the 950? 3) Do you guys think I should buy a used 144hz monitor, really on a thight budget. Used goes for around 190$. Thinking for a BenQ one or perhaps Asus. 4) Now I pretty certain that I can Install all the componets onto the motherboard. Doe I dont fell confident about connecting the psu cables and cable management. Do you guys have tips for that? or maybe some video out on youtube for installing psu and that. Have looked alot, havent found any helpful ones. 5) Do you guys prefer wireless adapter for gaming? Or should I stick with an ethernet Cable? 6) And last whats your thoughts on this build? Hey guys, Im currently on double setup with some not high quality monitor - PackardBell and iiyama ProLite E2210HDS and everything works perfectly also Im "rocking" amd athlon x4 860k black edition. I was wondering if I can buy one more hd/fullhd monitor. I have both of them for work so one more would be perfect. Thanks for answers!

hello, so ive brought a new mobo because I wanted to switch from amd to intel with my amd I have a fx6300 and the mobo was a gigabyte GA-78LMT USB3 and a gtx 950 they all work together fine and no problem was found until I swapped the mobo to a GA h61m usb3v which was a lga1155 mobo paired with a i5 2500k now the cpu worked fine I can get into windows on the integrated gpu but as soon as I plug the video adapted (DVI) into the gpu and turn it on the gpu fans spin but I get no display its like the monitor is on stand by I think it does post with the gpu but there is no display, I have updated the bios I have reset the CMOS but nothing how ever if I place the amd mobo into the rig and boot off the gpu everything works so the gpu is not dead I need help and fast Sorry for my bad English AMD FX6300 GTX 950 DDR3 ram 8GB (ADATA) one stick MOBO: GA-78LMT USB3 INTEL: I5 2500K GTX 950 DDR3 ram 8GB (ADATA) one stick MOBO: GA-H61M USB3V

I have a friend who wants to game, but he has a Toshiba desktop with integrated graphics (I don't know much about the desktop itself, he mentioned something about what sounded like a 4th gen intel processor). Do you guys think there is any way to get the graphics card to work in there? Idk if it is even a tower or if it is an AIO, have they even made desktop towers recently? Thanks!

Hi, I recently tried to overclock my GTX950. It seems stable, I have run benchmarks and games for hours, and everything runs fine( everything is smooth). But when I go and check temps and its clock speed. There is no reading at all. al 0. Even with GPU-Z when I restart the PC, It starts reading again. Thanks

Guys iam wondering what gpu is better. (Prices in my country) MSI GTX 950 2GD5 OCV1 (price 146€) VS GIGABYTE RX460 WINDFORCE OC 4G or SAPPHIRE NITRO + Radeon RX 460 4 GB (150€) ... 2gb extra vram sounds great but i know some amd products seems to be fu... good but in reality ...they are not.... so just for pure frames per seconds what is the best option ?

G4400 and GTX 950 at lower resolution like 768p, will it bottleneck current games like witcher 3, gta-v, cs go and other high end games? Mid settings will be enough for me. I do not need high or ultra type settings. I don't have a big monitor though. Just want to make sure that will work fine for me. Thanks

While playing any game at random my GPU will underclock itself. making frames drop to a point where the game is unplayable. The card does not get that hot while checking in afterburner while the game is launched I usually have 40-50 degrees in BL2. One temporary fix is that if I roll back my drivers/update them based on whether I updated it or rolled it back previously it fixes it for the rest of the day. I bought a brand new EVGA GTX 950 SC two days ago. Suddenly today the card isn't boosting to the 1400 Mhz but only to 405 Mhz. I've tried to run the card with EVGA precision x, MSI Afterburner and they all show that the card isn't hitting its boost speed. There is no problem with the power draw or temps. I have run out of ideas on what to do....

So as the title says Im in dire need of advice and opinions. Im a day away from getting these parts - i5-6400, MSI GAMING GTX950 and an MSI H110 GAMING motherboard. This isnt my first build but its the first time I'm making something flashy and good enough for my 13 year old brothers gaming needs. As contempt as i am with the two parts I may have been misinformed about the H110 motherboard not supporting overclocking of the gpu. This is the key problem I'm having with the build. If the mobo does prevent the OC of the gpu I'm ok but the GTX950 MSI gaming edition has a software that easily enables you to OC so i' concerned if the unlocked card wont be compatible with the H110 mobo. Any Quick and Reliable replies are highly appreciated. Thank you -

Basically what happened was that my computer was going ridiculously slow, so I checked task manager for the cpu usage etc., everything was fine! I then went into MSI Afterburner to find that the core clock slider was +1000 (I didn't do it). And for some reason, I see this: (After fixing the +1000 core clock of course) *Note what the max values are in the monitor I then found a thread saying to go into device manager to restart the card, after doing so the low "max"(s) were no longer on the clock speeds, they were however on the temperature resulting in major thermal throttling: This was while running the heaven benchmark on high settings, the core clock only reached 505 MHz! I did notice however, that the temperature max went up. Specs: -Windows 10 -GTX 950 -AMD FX-6300 -Gigabyte GA-970 DS3P That's probably all that is necessary Recent computer events: (Any help with these would also be nice) -Updated To GameReady Driver to 368.22 -Created another user account for family member -Unable to open pictures with the pictures app (Remote Call Procedure Failed) -Unable to open Windows App store (Remote Call Procedure Failed) -I also ran a virus scan just to check if that was the case So I hope that I have provided ample information so that someone can help me to solve this problem. Any response or suggestion would be highly appreciated, thanks.

PC Build for 2016 I'm new in building PC and I've been saving money for months right now and i'm having a hard time deciding which parts are better. Games that i will play in this PC is (Reign Of Kings, Ark Survival Evolve, Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, Rust, Dota2, League of Legends, CSGO, Fallout 4, Battlefield 3,4 and especially 1, Star Wars Battlefront and Etc.). I like to do some Gameplay recording and Monitor is 1600x900. Processor: AMD APU Which one is better? I want to buy a graphics card I was waiting for Pascal and Polaris to come out so prices drop, now I'm facing a difficult choice a gtx 750ti with 4gb or a 950 with 2gb. Any ideas, the prices are very similar maybe € 10-15 more for the 950. Any ideas?
