Hi, I am looking for an upgrade over my crappy case, an old Xtech GMR1. The upgrade would be as the title suggests a CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW. The motherboard I have does not have a USB C 3.1 but I am hoping to upgrade in the future to a better board. ¿Is it worth to buy for 100 dollars? Take into account I am not from the United States and I believe it would be more expensive and also more of a hassle to buy online and ship all the way to Guatemala which is where I live. Thanks for the feedback I attached an image of my current case. Xtech GMR1.jfif

Background: I'm a machine learning developer who runs a chatbot service on discord, and does research with reformer models (a variant of the transformer model). I recently decided that I would really like to upgrade my service backends from entirely CPU compute to GPU compute, which (as you might imagine) is extremely expensive on hosting providers. AWS charges $657 per month to use half of a K80, and GCP charges $328.5 per month for the same service. (GCP charges extra for the virtual machine it runs in, so prices may vary). For someone like me, who doesn't make much off of my service, either of those prices is completely unacceptable. So of course, the solution is to build your own rig. But woo-hoo! It's covid time and GPU prices have gone completely mental. After a bit of research, I noticed that the answer to my GPU woes was sitting in front of me the entire time. Tesla K80s were selling on ebay for $130 a pop (at their lowest early-covid. You'd be hard-pressed to find one for $180 nowadays) and that's for 2 GPUs on a single card That's right, cloud providers. I can build a rig just as good or better, for less than half your prices. Since this card is passively cooled, built for servers, and I figured I could make use of the remote mangement tools as well, I focused on building my new rig around a server chasis. Turns out both these choices were quite important in driving costs down. Here's my part list: HP ML350 gen 8 (Specs below) - $175 Pair of E5-2620 6c @2.0ghz 32gb DDR3 @1333 6 hard drive caddies (btw you can sell these for $6-$9 each lol) 2x 460w PSU(s) Tesla K80 - $180 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=tesla+k80&_sacat=0&_sop=15 the stupid cables for the two above items - $26 <- if you use ebay insead of amazon you can probablly find cheaper cables, I was in a hurry, and these worked. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SHT579T?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0796NVNY7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details (optional, but reccomended): 1 or 2 HP 750w PSU(s) - ~$15 (optional, it works just fine without them but reccomended if you plan to game on it) Pair of E5-2680 10c @2.7ghz- ~$40 (optional, some servers come preinstalled with storage) hard drives: - ~$12.5 <- 500gb drive (if you don't have one already) an 8gb+ SD card For the reccomended spec (assuming you have an SD card and 2.5" drive handy), that's $392 (before taxes) Before you go building this yourself, please realize that this is: 1. A server. most, if not all things in the server are proprietary and really lack the features of a workstation/gaming pc 2. Loud. At a (pretty cold) inlet temp of 65 degrees F, or 18 degrees C, this server will run its fans at 30% or higher, which will be ~45db of constant noise. 3. Going to need a lot of work. I won't take responsibiliy if you fry your server, since this will need some cable modding, and nothing in the HP servers is standard. Now that that the disclaimers are over with, let's go over some hardware pain points I first ran into. The HP ML350 Gen 8 is capable of handling 3 Gen 3 16x high power cards, but only has two power outputs for them on its power supply daugher board (the daughter board is hidden under the fan cage). The user manual lies about the pinout on the daughter board, with the pinout appearing to be a 10 pin, but actually, it's a 8-pin PCIe female connector (SEE FIG.1). BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES. That's also a lie. It's keyed like a PCIe 8-pin female, but the power it outputs is equivalent to a EPS 8-pin (e.g. 12v across the top and ground across the bottom) No one makes a cable to this pinout, not even HP. Not even if you wanted to pay $100 for it on amazon. The Tesla K80 actually wants this pin layout, but unfortunately, unless you know how to make your own cables, this isn't really an option. There is a really old thread about this cable debacle here, but they don't end up with a working solution, so I'll detail the possible solutions to this below. Fig. 1 - Connector on ML350p Gen 8 My solution was to buy a standard PCIe 8-pin male to 2x PCIe 8-pin male, and the standard Tesla K80 2x PCIe 8-pin female to 8-pin EPS male cable. Depending on the GPU you want to run, you may only need to buy and mod the first cable. If you do this configuration, DO NOT plug the two adapters together into the motherboard without modding them, as you WILL send 12 volts to ground, shorting and potentially kill your power supply(s). You'll want to cut the cheaper of the two cables, in case you end up giving up on this or use a different solution. If you cut the PCIe 8-pin male to 2x PCIe 8-pin male, cut cable 4, according to Fig. 2. If you cut the 2x PCIe 8-pin female to 8-pin EPS male, cut the two small loops coming out of the female connectors. (see Fig. 3) MAKE SURE TO PUT ELECTRICAL TAPE/HOT GLUE AROUND THE CUT LOOSE ENDS The alternative solution is to buy a cable like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R8821VZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. You won't need to mod it, but I highly advise against it. the last two ground pins on a PCIe 8-pin do provide power, roughly 75w each. Your card might not work at full capacity without those connected PSU-side. Fig. 2 - PCIe 8 pin standard Fig. 3 - Telsa K80 cable loops If you plug the cable(s) into the server now, it should boot and not short, without the card plugged in. ALWAYS CHECK THE POWER OUTPUTS OF YOUR CABLES BEFORE PLUGGING THEM INTO YOUR CARD. The outputs should match the EPS 8-pin standard (for the Tesla k80) or the standard defined by your graphics card manufacturer. Only once you've verified the output, should you plug it into your card and expect no magic smoke. I plugged the card into Lane 3 (the only X16 slot for CPU 1), and it worked just fine. You'll now want to use the GPU immedietely, I presume! But not so fast. This GPU has an eye-watering 24 GB of vram onboard, and systems aren't really designed for that. Luckily, there's a setting in HP's bios that can fix that ;3 On most motherboards, this would be a setting called "Above 4g Decoding", but for HP, this is not the case. Instead, it's in a hidden menu in the BIOS. You'll want to follow these steps: Boot up the server and press F9 when prompted to boot into BIOS Press CTRL+A on your keyboard attached to your server. A new menu called "SERVICE OPTIONS" will pop up Navigate to the new menu and go into it. Find the entry "PCI Express 64-BIT BAR Support" and enable it Exit the BIOS The K80 should now work. Credit where credit is due, and big thanks to RiDDO and his post on the HP forums here: https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/ML350p-Gen8-amp-nVidia-Tesla-K40m/td-p/7045883#.YPERc-j0nrc If you have ILO setup on the server, you can find the card labelled as UNKNOWN under System Information>Device Inventory>PCI-E Slot 3, unless you have an HP-branded K80. ----------------------------------------------- Hardware setup over (aka half the battle) If you've made it this far in you're probably pretty intrugued about how in the world I plan on making this setup work as a gaming server, or want to build it yourself. After all, this entire time, I haven't really explained how I intend on using this... without any video outputs... (there isn't even a framebuffer on this graphics card.........) I my case, I use ESXi 7.0 (you can get a free trial here) to run virtual machines, one for a linux machine that runs hosting stuff with half the GPU, and a windows dev/gaming enviornment for my second half of the GPU. To install it, you can use rufus to make the ISO image a bootable USB, and install ESXi to an SD card the usual way (you can find the server's onboard SD card slot inside the server under the fans). You'll probably want to change some configuration options on ESXi, such as setting a static IP address. Once ESXi is installed, you'll want to toggle passthrough for these GPUs and reboot the server. For each virtual machine you create, make sure to edit their configuration settings with these flags: pciPassthru.use64bitMMIO=TRUE hypervisor.cpuid.v0=FALSE pciPassthru0.msiEnabled=FALSE An explanation: pciPassthru.use64bitMMIO is basically "Above 4g decoding" for your VM, hypervisor.cpuid.v0 makes your vm think it's running on physical hardware, and pciPassthru0.msiEnabled is a sanity thing that I added (idk if it's needed) The machine learning VM is my own code and enviorment, and so it's configuration isn't important to this post. I'm sure you all want to know how to game on windows on the server. Well lucky for me, someone else already created a tutorial for setting the GPU into WDDM mode, enabling you to game on the GPU. Follow the guide here if you're interested in that: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmods/comments/nhfwh7/guide_using_an_nvidia_tesla_k80_datacenter_gpu/ As for me, I'll detail how to fix the bigger issue with this setup. There's no video output on this server, meaning that most low-latency video/input/audio streaming services won't work. You could use the output vmware gives you or windows remote desktop, but frankly, they're quite terrible in terms of latency and image quality. There aren't iGPUs in the CPUs either, since these are Xeons. Well, don't fear! You can use that K80 in WDDM mode to make parsec work, and for free (yep, don't pull out your hard-earned money to buy parsec teams). Essentially, what you need is a virtual display driver (just the driver) that fools windows into thinking there's a second display attached, when there actually isn't. After many hours of research and testing, only one worked for me. Follow this guide and install the display driver: https://www.amyuni.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3030. In the installer exes' directory, run "deviceinstaller enableidd 1" Once you're done, it should show up in windows' device manager as a USB mobile moitor (See Fig 4). Go into windows' display settings, and add parsec as a High-Power GPU application MAKE SURE TO HAVE PARSEC INSTALLED AND READY TO GO FIRST Set the virtual machine to only display on monitor 2. Log into your vm from the parsec client If you mess up and can't see your monitor anymore, reboot the vm from ESXi and run the comand "deviceinstaller enableidd 1" from the installer exes' directory. I reccomend not automating this process in case it causes issues or parsec happens to not work. Refer to Fig. 5 for a working example of it running. There are drawbacks to this method, of course. The driver only supports 1920x1080 output, you can't change the scaling or the resolution, even in parsec. If you can find a solution to this, PLEASE tell me Fig. 4 Fig. 5 ----------------------------------------------- Conclusion Overall, despite all the hurdles, this was quite the fun build to make, and it ended up being very worthwhile in the end. It's worth noting that there's a few drawbacks to the setup: You can't run too much stuff at the same time, since HP doesn't understand the Tesla K80's temperature The front half of the Tesla K80 is 15-20 degrees C cooler than the back half (and if either reaches 90 degrees C it will crash the entire server) - I game on the cooler GPU and underclock the card to keep a stable 66-70 C on it (Iif you know how to make HP's ILO run the fan curve with the GPU that would be great) Power usage is quite high. While gaming and machine learning (hosting), the server draws 410w-460w, and I estimate that the server can easily draw 650w if everything is running. (to be fair, the power costs are still lower than shilling out money to cloud providers) You might run into weird PCIe Passthrough issues. For me, one of the two GPU cores hates it if I shut down the VM it's attached to. It will purple screen of death my ESXi host and idk how to even begin fixing it. Not all games work. Some games are programmed to grab the first GPU that it sees and then switch to high power later (in this case, it would be vmware's "igpu" and that one doesn't support 3D applications while PCIe passthrough is enabled. You can see my timespy (demo) benchmark scores below, with the GPU power limited to 76% (and connected through parsec). It is very poor, but in more optimized games, you might find it ok, if you've been running an integrated GPU for games before, like me. (it seems the CPU is the major limiting factor here, which I will be upgrading in the future) Update: after a bit of tinkering, a CPU upgrade to the E5-2680, and overclocking, I've increased the score by 1100 points: Definitely can improve thr overclock, but I'll probably need to apply better thermal paste to the GPU

Hello, I'm unsure if this was the place to post this, I'm sorry though if this is the incorrect forum. I've have been looking for a new computer system for a little while and came across this one, it is 2nd hand but I'm wondering if it would be worth it for how powerful it is. ( Person is charging $1,500 AUD which translates to around $1131 USD ), the system specifications are as followed. CPU - i7 4790k MB - Asus Maximus Ranger VII RAM - 32gb DDR3 Kingston 1600 GPU - 2 x Leadtek Nvidia GTX 980 HDD/SSD - 2 x Samsung 850 256gb SSD ( Are in RAID mode, unsure if they're able to be "un raided". ) CPU cooler - Corsair H100 WC Case - Corsair Full Tower in white ( He did not specify the case model ) PSU - Corsair H1000w Disk Drive - Lg optical Drive Would it be worth $1,500 AUD for this system, or should I keep hunting? ( Again it's 2nd hand. )

Hello! I have a friend whose parents are divorced, and wants to get into PC gaming. He plans to game on his televisions (he has a desk as well as a television in each of his bedrooms) and he has a budget of $700. The goal of this build would be to be portable enough so that he could take it from one house to the other with relative ease, as well as fit into his budget. It isn't 700 for the computer, it is 700 for the computer, operating system, and peripherals (minus monitors). I have made a small list on pcpartpicker, but I could use some help on making it a little cheaper and maybe making it use a 1060 3GB mini instead of a 1050ti mini. Also, he needs to use a wireless network adapter, and there are no extra PCIE slots for one, so I have to use a USB. It is also using an 8th gen i3, the 8100. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vd8PwV He plans to play PUBG, maybe GTA5, maybe the newest COD, and maybe Overwatch. All at 1080p or lower.

Alright so I want to upgrade my computer's cpu, mobo, and ram. I went on craigslist and found a guy selling an i5 4590 with the h81m-p33 motherboard and 8gb of ddr3 ram. I already have a 1050 ti in my computer and plan on playing games like playerunknown's battlegrounds and CS:GO. Btw I am only spending 145 on everything. I am also wondering if i should upgrade anything with the 50 dollars I will have left after I buy it? Im hoping to get around 60-80 fps in battlegrounds, does anyone know if that will be possible with this build? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

My birthday is coming up and I want to replace the AMD Athlon x4 860k thats in my computer right now with a better cpu that would go well with a 1050 ti. I was looking at the g4560 with the 1050 ti but when I saw the fps it would get in pubg so I wanted to find something better that would get the 70-90 fps my friend gets. I found a used i7 975 extreme edition used for $45 and wanted to know if that is a better cpu than the g4560 and what motherboard would go with the i7. If you can pls link me a pcpartpicker build with the mobo and ram i would need and maybe a 500gb hard drive because I only have a 320gb right now.

1.) First the price, I was thinking around 200$, it's pretty old (Roughly 5 years old) and I'm thinking it's a good price for what it is, maybe for a person that is skeptical getting into PC gaming but doesn't want to invest too much money into it. AMD A10-5800K MSI FM2 A75 MA E35 (How do I still remember the model number) 8GB Kingston Memory (Gskill) 1866mhz 1TB Caviar Blue R7 260x CX 500 Watt PSU 2.) How should I clear the HDD? I don't have the old key for my old windows 7 CD or the physical CD at all actually, so should I just format the HDD in my current computer and throw it back in their and notify that the buyer needs to buy an OS key? Or is there a way to clear everything but the OS without removing the OS and without the key.

I have an interest in making my computer a better gaming computer, but don't know anything about computer parts. I built this last September of 2015 and with some help put it together. Can anyone give suggestions? Looking to run CSGO and other games at higher than 100 fps on low settings Windows 10 x64 Processor: AMD FX(Tim)-8350 Eight-core Processor 4.00 GHz 16 GB RAM Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4 GB Motherboard: MSI 970 GAMING (Ms-7693) I can always upgrade the power if necessary, I don't feel like it's too necessary to include it ' but I have 600 Watts I believe :

I got this dell for Christmas, i was excited. i hooked it up and it ran like a dream. this computer is one of the last OEM computers that comes with windows 7. This model came with 16 GB of memory (DDR3), an Intel i7 6700 (not k), AMD Radeon HD R9 360 (2GB gddr5) (similar to Radeon R7 360), Dell motherboard with bulit-in WiFi and Bluetooth, 2TB 7200 RPM Segate Hard Drive, and a cheap laptop disk drive that forgets whats inside of it after a few minutes. i'll start with the os, it came with windows 7 pro, it booted in 15 seconds for a few days. dell gave me a copy windows 10 pro on disc if i wanted to upgrade. the video card is pretty good, it ran games on high settings without dropping to 40 fps. the first few days with the pc, the videocard made a heavy grinding sound but it went away. if your worried about temps, then you may need fan control from msi afterburner. i tried overclocking this puppy, but it never reached the higher MHz, i think the amd software doesn't want me to unofficially overclock. i dont know what to say about the i7, it never slowed down. yes this pc can handle 1080p 60fps youtube videos without temps getting hot. the videocard always gets hotter then the i7, but the i7 has a small cooler then the video-card. if you want to add a 2nd hard drive or disk drive, well you cant, unless you buy a new power suppy. the hard drive and disk drive run power from the motherboard, i find no other connectors on the power supply. the disk drive feels super fragile, you have to use both hands to insert a disk or you'll feel like your breaking the drive or bending the disc. if i played a movie then paused for a few minutes, the disk drive forgets what disc is inside of it. windows would always say "please insert a disc". to make the disk drive not forget, you have to make the disk drive active. it took 10 minutes for my pc to find the driver for the dell keyboard that came with the pc. the driver wasn't on dells website. you could only get through windows updates and at the time, windows updates was frozen. the hard disk was fast, i did research on these 7200 rpm hard drives, they say this hard drives are great for programs and operating systems but not great for storing large files. the pc came with 5.1 audio but you have to use the mic in and line in ports as rear speaker and sub-woofer/center ports. the maxxaudio manager made the speakers sound alot better, this was dell's custom version of realtek. if you have more than 1 monitor, the computer doesn't know which monitor is the primary and duplicates the image on all screens, if you boot into windows, then the screens become different. this computer was designed for people who want a powerful gaming pc in a compact case. in august my dad got this for $550 on the official dell website, he said he got a Hugh discount from the rewards program that he sign'ed up for. now this runs from $899 to $1199 on dells website. the prices change fast on this. if you want the amd videocard, you can find these cards on ebay for $70, used. the videocard gets power from the motherboard. im not sponsored by dell pc link: http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/productdetails/inspiron-3650-desktop/ddclot223b amd r9 360 2gb: goo.gl/NXvYwu amd r9 360 2gb specs: https://goo.gl/yCvDcR (click on 300 series) "view basic info" page: http://i.imgur.com/lY74pmJ.png windows experience index score: http://i.imgur.com/HcX14f4.png

Alright everyone So I never gain any luck when I play the lottery, and I have never ordered anything off of wish before. But something caught my eye that felt both entertaining and compelling. Wish has this computer with an Intel core i7 8700k, 8GB ram, SSD and HDD as well as a gtx1060. For.... wait for it... $3 plus $1 in shipping. So I thought for the entertainment of myself and everyone here, why not give it a try? If it's not what they say it is, big deal I'm out 4 bucks. However it may be an actual system and I might just come out ahead! Or... it's a potato. Either way, I'm intrigued. I will attach a link to a live unboxing once it comes in! "Wish" me luck! See what I did there?

Build Plan:$700 Gaming Computer "The Teraflop"
Ender.Kaina posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
"The Teraflop" means nothing it was just a distinguishable name I came up with when writing this. I am trying to build the Ultimate ~$700 Gaming Computer for myself. The only requirements I have are 1) M.2 boot drive, 2) I want to stay ITX, aka as small as possible, and 3) as much performance as possible. Currently the build consists of: $199.99 AMD Ryzen 5 3200 6-core 3.6Ghz Base Clock, with a 4.2Ghz Boost. (for a while I had the 2600, however, for just $60 you get a significant performance boost, according to PassMark) $94.99 ASRock A320M-ITX AM4 Motherboard. (Cheapest ITX board on Newegg) $229.99 GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 OC 6G Graphics Card. (Dual Fan) $48.99 Intel 760p Series M.2 2280 256GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 (Boot Drive) $64.63 Mushkin Silverline 16GB ( 1x 16 GB ) DDR4 PC4-19200 2400MHz (Why would I do such a foolish thing as to run in single channel, you ask? Because of the limitation of only having two DDR4 slots on this motherboard, and since I am planning to upgrade to 32gb for server use, I don't see much of a better option) $49.99 EVGA 500W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (Cheapest REPUTABLE power supply available on Newegg) Later, outside of the budget, I will be buying a $79.99 3TB Barracuda 7200RPM HDD For all the games. Let me know what you think and what areas I can improve on, thank you very much. P.S. I am also looking for the both the cheapest 1080p 144hz ips monitor, as well as the cheapest 1440p 144hz ips monitor.- 16 replies

Ok, so I know it sounds almost impossible to find something like this but I just was wondering if anyone has heard of something like that before. Cyber Monday and Black Friday are coming up in just a few days and Ive been waitng to prep for theses days so i could ask if anyone has ever seen something like this kind of computer. Something that runs VR ,1080p Minimum , and a Computer @ 900$. Its really specific, yes, but just wanted to know if someone had seen something like this before. Please reply w/ a link to pre-builts or parts lists [prebuilt preferably]. Im just gonna say I have 0 experience with building pc's so yeah....

So i'm a complete newbie and i've decided to build my own pc. Any advice/tips/opinions anyone is willing to share would be welcome. The pc will be used mainly for gaming, call of duty, borderlands etc, the budget started out at around £1000, and i'm hoping to keep it near there, though going slightly above that is fine. This is what i've got so far and what i'm considering: Parts I already have: RAM - Steel Series, Patriot Viper 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3733MHz - Saw this for £80 on Amazon and thought it was a good deal Power Supply - Corsair RM850x - Got this a while ago, probably more than I need but since I already have it I might as well use it. £110 SSD - Sabrent 512GB Rocket NVME PCIe M.2 SSD - Also saw this on Amazon, for £45 pounds I thought this was a good deal and so bought it. £235 spent, so around £765 still to spend. What I need/am considering: CPU - AMD Ryzen 3600 or AMD Ryzen 2700x - i'm leaning more towards the 3600 since its newer and has pcie 4 while i'm pretty sure the 2700x only has pcie 3?, With black friday coming up I might be able to get something better, like the 3600x, but i'll have to check the deals available. Graphics Card - Radeon Rx 5700 Xt or Geforce RTX 2060 Super - AMD seems like better value for money but the 2060 super has better spec i believe. I have no idea how black friday deals will effect prices for graphics cards, so I might or might not be able to get something better? Motherboard - MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX - Currently £89.99 on amazon, seems like a good price, also the only motherboard around that price i've found that supports the speed of the RAM I already have. Case - I have absolutely no idea, any advice would be welcome. The monitor I currently have is 1080p, I can't recall the refresh rate off the top of my head but I used to use it for gaming and can't really afford to splash out after paying so much for the PC, so i'm just going to say its sufficient. Having said that, I do intend to upgrade it eventually, probably before I end up having to upgrade this PC, so i'm hoping this PC should be able to perform well at 1440p and possible on two monitors. I do have a 4k TV i could hook it up to, but since that's not really built with gaming in mind and a PC that could perform well at 4K is significantly more expensive i'm not sure if that's a good idea. Any advice on that would also be welcome. I also have a 'gaming' keyboard, something madcatz i think, it's a few years old but as with the monitor since it still works and i'm not really willing to spend much more I will use this and potentially upgrade at a later date. Mouse is in the same situation as the keyboard. I am looking to get a new gaming headset (or a non-gaming headset that I can use for gaming), though the budget for that is seperate from this. My current headset is a first-gen Astro A50 headset, and since the headband snapped I decided it's time for an upgrade. The budget for this is £300 as i'll be receiving it as a christmas present. As it is a present I might be able to get some of that budget to use towards the PC instead, but I do want the best headset I could possibly get, so using the full £300 is fine too. I current use a PS4 Pro for my gaming and don't want to just abandon all the games I play on there, so I'd like the headset I buy to be compatible with that as well. Apart from the PC and the Headset I currently sit on a beanbag chair when i'm gaming (or anything else that involves sitting down really), which i'm sure isn't good for my back, so if anyone could point me too/recommend a good chair that's reasonably priced (the cheaper the better really) to use as well i'd appreciate it. Edit: I could also use a cpu cooler, depending on if one comes with the cpu/if the one that comes with the cpu is insufficient. I am open to both air and water cooling, though as i've never even built a pc myself before, let alone dealt with water cooling, AIO is probably the only type of water cooling that's really feasible. Also while RGB lighting would be cool, if it saves me money, i'm totally fine with no RGB. Edit 2: The Build on PC Part Picker, https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/GeoHandle/saved/4DQrVn

Hey Guys, I've been looking at getting a new PC for a while and have asked a lot of my gaming friends on thoughts about the current pc build that I'm looking at from PC Specialist in the UK (As I'm from the UK). I'm looking for the following: I'm looking to spend around about 2k (including monitor but excluding keyboard and mouse as I already have those) Looking for a decent build (preferably with pc specialist or any other company that does good pricing in the UK) that can handle game development, gaming and music creation and VFX with the use of apps such as unreal engine, maya 3d, after effects I am also looking for something that would be able to run decent games in high graphics. I usually tend to play games such as Arma or GTA V etc. What do I currently have? I currently have the following laptop: Macbook Pro (15-inch, 2017) Processor 2.9 Ghz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Graphics Radeon Pro 560 4 GB intel HD Graphics 630 1436 MB I use this laptop mostly for notetaking and editing with Premiere as I am looking to enter the world of short film editing but have also stated learning Unreal Engine and have been interested in gaming and VFX for a while but have noticed that when there's big project file sizes that my mac fan starts to whirl like crazy which I'm guessing can't be a good sign. I've included bellow a picture of the specs that I intend to go for should I buy a gaming pc but am obviously open to changes that could better it and keep it under the 2k mark. I have also included the picture for the monitor separately. PC Build Case: PC Specs Power and Cooling: WIFI, OS and extras: Thanks a lot in advance for all your help guys! Tom

So, I have a computer I am about to upgrade. It currently has a Pentium G3250 in it, but I am going to upgrade it to an i5 4460. It has 8gb of RAM and a Radeon HD 7570. I am upgrading this computer because I want to livestream myself playing older and lighter video games (CS:GO, CoD MW2, Rocket League, etc.) for 24 hours straight. Does this PC sound capable of handling that task?
