Hi everyone, First I want to thank you all for helping me with advise on my builds. I changed some parts and have 3 builds now. I have 1100 euro to spend but I don't need to buy the RAM, SSD, Case, HDD. Which build do you guys think is the best? Not only the most FPS but also durability And will my CPU bottleneck my GPU in build 2? I want to know if some components will bottleneck each other and if everything fit each other. I'm planning on playing games like Overwatch, Black Desert Online and the Witcher 3. How much fps do you think I will get in these games? (on max settings) I will probably play it on 1080p. Hi I'm from Belgium and new to forums and stuff excuse me if i forgot something. Butget around : 1500€ The idea : Motherboard max. 64 GB ram Intel 7700(K) or intel 8700 Gtx 1080(TI) (big cart) 16 ( or 8 ) GB ram 240 GB SSD 1 TB HDD CD drive for disc's Case with panel What do u guys think of Linux for gaming? Do i need to use Windows? (If i buy a window i will buy it apart from the money for the pc) They said to me in store if i want a GTX 1080 i need to pay 2000€. But i don't need a Samsung SSD or something. As long if it's not overpriced and not bottleneckd then it is good for me. And if a pc that's already been build that i can pay less i find this a little strange.? The look is Important but if i can save money on things it's OK. It's not that I'm willing to not give money out. But i think i don't won't spend 2000 on it. When i spoke to my family they said 2000 is much but I don't know nothing of it. I have a screen from 2007 720p i think ?VGA?. Can i use a splitter or something to put it on it with a new GPU. What do u guys think.

I recently bought a HP ML350 G6 with 1 Xeon E5645, 36GB RAM and 4x 300GB sas drive. I want to use it as A moderate gaming PC so i can play games like City skyline, CIV V and VI, Portal series Shadow of mordor on Ubuntu. And do a little virtulization for testing some of de linux distros. My question is it worth upgrading or adding a extra CPU and with which one. That all for a Budged of around a 150 dollar. I do want to use a AMD Radeon HD 6950 that i have laying around. Have any of you some advice. I am planning of using it for the next 3-5 years.

I'm looking to build my first pc that will run near silently, which I can leave on to run day and night. I'm planning on installing Ubuntu (and maybe Windows, but that shouldn't be and isn't in the budget). It'll be used to run simulations and play games from time to time (probably nothing too intensive). PC parts picker yielded no conflicts, but since this is my first build I'd love to hear from you folks. I have a mouse and keyboard. I'm willing to sacrifice a fair bit of performance if that means it can run more quietly, but from what I understand this can be manually configured for most parts. The graphics card cannot have CUDA cores, so that pretty much leaves AMD. I'm not sure about the motherboard, power supply and display, and I'd like to know if this setup allows for a second GPU (in terms of space and power). Hello there! i am going to buy an gaming pc for 1000 euro at the end of the year. I know thats really long and then there maybe are better specs out but i am really exited already This is what i have: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Wolfiowww/saved/WYP2FT + An gtx 1070. But with and 1070 it costs over 1000. i have 347 left to spend and people are probably going to say from like "well buy an gtx 970" But i dont want that gpu. i really want the 1070. Well, My question is. how much will 1070's cost at the end of the year or maybe some longer. because if its around 350 euro (in dollar 387,574) + around 100 euro extra costs for sending it from america to netherlands. (Probably not going to happen so cheap) and if not i can buy it over from someone else who doesnt use it anymore or something. And another question. is my pc good to go? (With an gtx 1070 in it) does it all fit and no bottleneck? wont it overheat? 300 - 1600 rpm cpu fan. I am not an pro in specs

Hello everyone, The question is what the title says, I'm looking into building a Workstation/game pc and I'm not sure what I should be picking parts wise. I'll be working with programs like autodesk maya, photoshop, sony vegas, sidefx houdini and illustrator. But, I'd also like to be able to play games on there. I was looking for a gaming pc around 600 to 700 euro's, and when linus posted his ultimate build guild I was really excited and I liked the results the system got. But when I read the comment section I saw a lot of negative feedback about the decision's linus made without giving other options. Do you guys have any suggestions for a gaming pc with a 750 dollar price tag? (lower than 750 is fine, above not really) Thanks.

1. Budget & Location my budget is 850 euros , I live in belgium. 2. Aim I`m going to use this system for gaming. I would like to run games like bf4 ,titanfall and such on a pretty high setting without problems (evrything maxed out is not what I`m going for ). 3. Monitors I use 2 monitors, my primary is the benq gl2450 Full HD 1080p. The second one is an old 19 inch one with vga output syncmaster 920n from samsung. 4. Peripherals I have evrything already , my cd-drive and operating system aswell 5. Why are you upgrading? I`ve always gamed on low end medion pc`s wich could run the games I wanted to play on a very low setting or just couldn`t run it, it is time for a change ^^.
