Hello there, I was wondering if there's a way to somehow trick Nvidia Surround to use three different resolution displays. I found this Nvidia forum post, but was unable to get the same results. The thing is, I use an Nvidia Tesla K20x and pass the image through to another Nvidia GPU (currently a GT 710, but I have many others laying around): after changing the EnableMsHybrid values in regedit, I tricked Windows into thinking the other GPU is a power-saving card, and the Tesla - a high performance one, as if it was a 2-GPU laptop. That means, I can't use an AMD GPU and its superior Eyefinity for display (like I did before getting the Tesla), because I was unable to make Windows think it's a power saving card. What that also means is I can't run a game in windowed (or borderless) mode and span it across all of the displays, because then it only uses 70% of the Tesla's power, which results in dramatically lower performance. So, my configuration is - 1 30" HP Z30i (2560x1600) in the middle, and two 21" Eizo S2100's rotated by 90 degrees (1200x1600). When I tried to run Surround with and without said workarounds, it always resulted with all monitors setting to 1600x1200, which is not optimal, to say the least. If there's absolutely no way to make it work correctly, I guess I'll just have to buy a weaker Ryzen APU and replace my 1600AF with it, just for Eyefinity. I'd be very grateful for any help or hints as to what could possibly work. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm running four 1080p monitors with an AMD 5700xt GPU (with Windows 11, latest build). Their arrangement is 3 side by side monitors with the 4th on top. I am trying to play a racing game with only my 3 side by side monitors configured with Eyefinity. When I activate Eyefinity in the Radeon Adrenalin software (ver. 22.11.2), it configures all 4 monitors in an Eyefinity group. Since my 4th monitor is on top of the others, this doesn't work. I tried disabling the 4th monitor in Windows before setting up the Eyefinity group, but it reactivates my 4th monitor. I'm looking for some help in order to set-up Eyefinity on only my 3 monitors that are side by side without having to physically unplug the 4th monitor every time I want to play. I was hoping that the Adrenaline software would give the option to remove a monitor from an Eyefinity group or maybe if there is another software that can help me achieve my goal. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

Hi! Im planning to make a setup with a rx 5700 xt, a ultrawide 1080p displayport freesync monitor ( lg 29um69g b ) and two normal 1080p HDMI freesync monitors ( Philips 241E1SCA/00 ). All monitors are 75hz. I did a lot of research, but I really cant find it properly. Can you use the three monitors in eyefinity, with one displayport and two passive displayport to HDMI adapters and how does freesync work on this? I hope you can help me, Bram, the Netherlands

Enabled AMD Link Server today for about 5 minutes and turned it back off. Also installed a bit more RAM. Would either of these things have disabled Eyefinity? Yesterday it was there and running just fine.

Good day, following problem: I try to use Eyefinity with 3 monitors, but I have a 240HZ monitor and 2 60HZ monitors I want all three to run at the maximum refresh rate, but unfortunately that doesn't work. With 2 connected monitors (240 + 60HZ) it works to select 240Hz and 60Hz with Eyefinity activated. if all 3 are connected, this is no longer possible, all only run at 60 Hz I use an RX 5700XT and the Radeon Software 2020 20.4.2 The 240 HZ monitor is connected via display port, the 60 HZ each with HDMI The OS is Windows 10 64 bit version 1909 (build 18363.778) How can I implement what works with 2 with 3? Thanks!

Whenever I look up whether multi gpu rigs are worth it, almost all results are about gaming. I know that having more than 1 gpu isn't super practical for games, but I want to know if it will make any difference when doing non-games stuff, like modeling or rendering in programs like maya. If there is some advantage to having 2 gpus, would it matter if they are in sli/eyefinity or not linked and just act like 2 seperate cards? I ask because I tend to rely on my gpu for most of the work (both in viewport and rendering), and my projects tend to be pretty big.

Hi guys I'm looking forward to adding another display to my setup. I curently have LG DM2752 and Dell U2311H. I would like to add another U2311H and make an eyefinity group. The problem is that I cant get object to scale on all three displays cause tho they have same res thay have different sizes. I have done some testing and find out that Dell set to non native res of 1600 X 900is almost perfectly up to scale with the LG one. The problem is wether I will be able to correctly make a mixed resolution eyefinity group with two 1600x900 and one 1920 x 1080 (adding up to a total resolution of 5120 x 1080) without resolution on Dell monitors going back to native resolution on eyefinity group setup ? Ps. I wonder wether you notice any tearing on desktop while in eyefinity mode cause I have. Also my main monitor sometimes gets 1080i insted of 1080p siglan. Weird. Ps 2. I have some experience with ghetto setup. I for example have 4.1 surround sound setup made of 2.1 and a 2.0 speaker set and with my PC it works like a charm for fraction of a cost of decent 5.1 set. Both sets are self powered if you wonder.

Hi all, yesterday I accidentally activated the eyefinity over my Radeon tool, so I thought I give it a test in a game. So I started up BF1 and I must say... wow! What a great experience It was hard to play because I only have 2 monitors (24") with each about 2-3cm thick frames, so there was a big gap in the middle of my huge window. So to my questions: -Eyefinity only makes sense if you have at least 3 Monitors right? Else you will always have a gap in the middle. Or are there specials monitors for eyefinity? -How much system resources does this technology need? 2 Monitor = 2x GPU Power and 3 Monitor = 3x GPU Power? -Is the sight in the game really much wider or does it only look like it? Thanks in advance!

Hi there. I have myself an issue regarding some software. I recently reset my pc, and therefore wiped my drives. I then went on to reinstall windows and all of the latest and greatest drivers. But my issue is that my native windows resulution is only 5760x1080 when eyefinity is also on. That is a problem, since i only use eyefinity for gaming and prefer to have the three monitors "seperated" when i am editing photos. What should i do? And please ask questions if i forgot anything. (GPU: AMD R9 390)

I'm currently using an AOC i2369VM IPS monitor, a (600 Ringgit, I'm from Malaysia) budget IPS panel. I plan to upgrade to triple monitor soon and here's my problem. With 800+ ringgit I can get a Dell Ultra Sharp 1080p IPS, which would cost 2.4k++ for triple, or stick with my AOC and get triple for 1.8k++. I am willing to spend more upfront for this triple setup so I won't be regretting bcos a triple is gonna stay the same configuration for a long time, my income isn't stable (student). Question time: Is the Dell Ultra Sharp going to be a significant upgrade to the AOC? p.s. my current AOC has almost no IPS defects, how do Dell's display score in the defects rate, or its a completely random figure? Thanks LTT community

So, my parents recently got a cable upgrade, and we got a few more cable boxes for other rooms in our house, and they asked me for ideas on HDTVs (1080P) for them. I am currently using three Westinghouse 1080p TVs that were each about 115 USD when I bought them a few years ago. They are exactly what my parents were looking for for the cable boxes. I know times have changed since then, and my parents only care about functionality, meaning that they will buy the TVs I have off of me, so I can upgrade. I looked around and found that there are alot of new cheap displays, that have insane value compared to when I was shopping, here are my requirements: - 24 inches or less -1080P at least -Verry thing bezels (Eyefinity Setup) -Decent color I will be using them for Eyefinity Gamming, Productivity, School work, Video edition, and pretty much anything under the sun. My GPU is the XFX R9 270X, these are the outputs: 2 DVI 1 HDMI 2 MDP The TVs have just HDMI ins, so I have one Active MDP adapter to HDMI, passive MDP to HDMI, and the HDMI going to the displays. I would prefer to focus my budget on the monitors, not cables. Thats about it. Thanks!

Hi, I currently have two monitors, and I want to use them in an eyefinity setup, but when doing this, games center between my two screens which isn't optimal for me as my screen bezels are rather thick. Is it possible to have my games center on my first screen and carry on onto the second one on my right? If anyone knows how, it would be a big help. Cheers.

Hi I need some help! I've got a problem trying to set up eyefinity with 3 monitors, 1 27" samsung curved 1080p and 2 22" acer 1080p monitors one either side. When setting up eyefinity in crimson it thinks to 2 smaller displays are the same size to the 27" making some pretty shocking alignment issues. What is the best way to fix this so that I can get the setup of these three to relatively align well enough to stop the horrible jumping I get at the moment? Thanks!

So I can't currently do eyefinity because my triple monitor setup is: (Acer 23.6" - Samsung 32" - Acer 23.6"). So I need a new middle screen that has the same height as the flanking monitors but i quite fancy 21:9 monitors. So I did some research and the the LG 21:9 29" monitor has a height of 29cm while my current 23.6" monitors have a height of 29.4cm. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of setup and would the .4cm be noticeable?

My setup is a 32" Samsung TV in DVI mode flanked by 2 24" Acer monitors. I haven't found a single way in the AMD control centre that lets me adjust according to the size of my monitors. Everytime i try to set up eyefinity it acts as if they are all the same size and thus nothing is alligning. I've tried almost every combination possible in CCC. HELP PLEASE!!

What do you do if you have a big store and need to drive a bunch of displays in 4K? How about a GPU with nothing but ETHERNET outputs? Buy an Advoli TA6 Performance from Advoli: https://lmg.gg/8KV94 Buy an LG 43UD79: On Amazon: https://geni.us/Wf2c On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KV9V Buy an Acer Predator XB271HK: On Amazon: https://geni.us/D1LL On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KV9q

Hey, I just got a few new monitors and I'm trying to set them up with eyefinity. I want to use them in a 2x2 configuration but there is no option at all to select the layout. I can only choose "quick setup" which automatically sets it up as 4x1. A few years ago I had a laptop with the old radeon settings menu from which I could create an eyefinity group and change arrangement, resolution etc. I can get this menu to pop up after quick setup by clicking "try advanced setup" but I am missing lots of options like arrangement and layout. I included an image that shows how I have them setup in windows display settings. Is it possible the layout option is missing because the monitors are not the same size? I am running the Adrenalin 2019 19.2.2 driver. Graphics card is an RX480. https://imgur.com/a/BJDEzG6 Hope there is anyone who has some more experience with this and can help me out!

OK so I just got a RX 480 8GB, and I noticed you could use AMD eyefinity in profiles for your games. Thats cool i thought so i set it up for all my racing games ( Need For Speed MW, Dirt 3/4) and it worked beautifully for the first 3 weeks, then i go to play those games today and it doesn't work.. it activates for the middle monitor, but not for the 2 side monitors. those don't change. so then the game looks awful squished into the middle screen what should be spread out across all 3. I have one running off a display port adapter, the other off HDMI and the last one off HDMI... oddly enough the left one displays static while playing these games if you turn it off an on, and the right one just sits on the desktop.... i really dont know what is going on as it worked fine for 2-3 weeks, then didn't work today. I updated my drivers, and that didn't change anything, so i updated to 'optimal' and still no change. Used DDU and still no change. WHAT IS WRONG?! any help would be much appreciated, as i'm about at my wits end. (also note: the card still works fine when gaming without EYEFINITY on)

Just set up AMD eyefinity with an rx580 strix 8gb, and two LG 25UM58 ultrawide monitors. Windows blue screened with the error win32kfull.sys and now I can't see windows, or the post/bios screen. I have tried swapping in a different graphics card, and resetting the CMOS to no effect. The pc is probably now in startup repair, since the keyboard isn't connecting anymore. How can I fix this?

I have a 34" ultra wide and two 27"16x9 displays side by side. On top center, I have a 55" 1080p TV I've seen older forums addressing this issue but all the AMD links are outdated. The issue I'm having is that the AMD drivers in version 18.9.2 don't seem to have an option for only selecting certain monitors for Eyefinity use. It just only lets me do a quick setup which selects all of them and when I bring that profile into the "advanced" editor there doesn't seem to be a way to deselect my TV from my Eyefinity grouping. I cannot seem to figure this out and any help would be greatly appreciated
